Kiray goes for Pumpkin mob 1 with her sword of fire and light from the front. "We need to keep these pumpkins occupied."

"Talking will be difficult, with what I've seen of the Dens. It's still worth trying." "I still say you need to stop them permanently. You have two options, fight or try to talk. Either way, we are running short on time."

BRICKYWOOD - Confirmation and Discussion

Of course the intern is one of the last ones there... -
"You could try a market, but we don't have anything around." "If you guys are taking Luke, I'd be willing to loan you some of my equipment. I won't need all the weight as we're preparing the ships to leave. I'm a Warden, so anything good for a ranger or knight, I can give." "Same, but I'm a Paladin, so anyone who needs cleric based items can take some of my equipment." Luke chuckles at the comment, seeming to agree in part. "Steal?" Jackson rubs his facial hair. "No, that thing should be destroyed. We kill Calder Den, who knows what would happen if anyone tied to him finds it." "The Warden is correct." Galedo stuffs his hands in his pocket. "Destroying the painting is the best way end all of this. It also will be near impossible to kill Calder Den if he is drawing on the power of the painting and the flowers." He then drops his voice even lower. "I've heard rumors from other servants that he is trying to find a way to turn back aging, essentially keeping himself alive forever. He hasn't managed yet. But if someone more powerful than him finds it..." "Let's not think about the what ifs at this time."
-
"I still say continue where we are going, but if it's going to be more challenging, we need to prepare." Kiray digs through her inventory. "If we go the easier route, I don't want to waste anything in here yet."

The captain watches the Heroes bicker back and forth. After a moment, almost reluctantly, he says "Let's go back to the others." The group takes numerous alleyways and doubles back along their route, making sure they aren't being followed. Once they're certain they are in the clear, they go back into the meeting spot. "What took so long?" "We had a small scuffle." William feels the tension, but says nothing. Instead, he looks to Galedo. "So you're the man who's to help us. You have the map?" "Yes. But not until I get paid," he replies, still shaken. The Tridentians share a look, but William pays the servant. The man pulls out the map. Traci is the first one to get to it. "So there's a front entrance and a side entrance?" "Correct." Galedo nods. "Two ways in or out. The side entrance is through the garden, which helps some of the water supply to the residence. If I can make a suggestion, poisoning it could help make things easier for you." "That's a smart move." "You don't know the half of it," Grayson mutters, referencing the recent battle. "When you're inside, there's numerous hallways, but there are three main rooms we should check out. One is the trophy room. It's where Calder stores magical items. The second is the servant quarters. Expect guards there, though. The third is the Great hall. If Den is anywhere, he will be there. That's also where his magical painting is. He claims it gives him energy and youth. It's his most prized posession." "That must have been made from the golden lotus." "So he says." "Well, Heroes," William begins, "is there anything else you think we need to know? If you want, you can head over with Galedo, he'll guide you through the place. You can take one other of us with you. The rest need to prepare the boats for us to leave. We need to get out of here quickly. Or you can head up top to Rex and give him some bombs. He's overlooking the residence right now, and you can call in some bombs from him during your raid." Luke, having been quiet this whole time, goes up to Vindsval and whispers, "Do I want to know what happened?" He then goes to Petaldan, saying, "I can tell your upset. It's difficult seeing stuff like this so young. It was the same for me."

On the lot of ABS Pictures, there's trouble. ABS' rival studio, BURPAMOUNT, has infiltrated ABS and is intent on bringing the studio to ruin. Burpamount has already killed the studio head Brick Iger, and they aim to take down the rest of the people. In the wake of Brick Iger's death, co-VPs at ABS Debby Brickolds and Kevin Zpastud have stepped in to keep the studio running, but they're too busy dealing with investors to dedicate time to stopping Burpamount. So they have handed the investigation over to the people on the lot, much to the unions' unhappiness. This is fantastic! I don't know why, but I really love the white door. My only wish is that the balcony on the right wasn't there, I would love to see how this looks with some modular buildings.

Thanks! The kneeling actually took a few tries to get right, and even then I'm still not sure how much I like it. Us Oleonders don't pretend. We're the most virtuous out of all the factions, mind you.

Yeah, then we rabblerouse! But in all seriousness I agree with you. There's a lot to keep track of with this game, and I'm sure we're heading in the right direction when they release Era II.
