  1. I got knocked out again? Man, I'm a horrible tank. Was that what I even tried to spec as?
  2. Here's my Cat. A post! I have no idea if this is a plantation or factory, as well. [OL - Era II - Ch II - Cat. A] Fishing Village
  3. [OL - Era II - Ch II - Cat. A] Fishing Village (Medium plantation or factory) https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/165233-ol-era-ii-ch-ii-cat-a-fishing-village/
  4. As Emile was off in Terraversa, and Rene, Henri, and Randall were off protecting Emile and Elise's business interests. Gilbert, William, and Jean were sent to Fatu Hiva to investigate the mysterious islands. They found themselves approaching a fishing village on the white sands of the island. Oh how they wished they could dip their toes in the water and relax. But of course, duty calls. William, the only man of Emile's crew from Corrington, talked to the leading fisherman of the village. "So your fishing provides a great deal for Oleon?" "Of course," the native responded. "We bring in a great deal. But something tells me you're not here to learn about fishing." "Your intuition is correct," William said. "The mystery in thhe island," the fisherman said, his eyes glazing over as he remembered. "The forest is dark. The island can be dangerous." "So we have heard." "So..." Gilbert started to the tattooed man, "what's it like in there?" "Friend," Tattoo answered, "you don't want to know. But between you and me, it's all nonsense. I think it's just some angry people. Nothing like magic." "Do your gods hold reign there?" "Sure, but what have they done for us? Scare and kill people?" he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I believed we would fight back Oleon. They're not too bad if I say." "You do realize I'm from Oleon," Gilbert said, deadpan. "Well of course. You're not too bad. If anything, it might be wild animals killing people going in there. Maybe it's the gods, maybe it's people, maybe it's animals." "Fishing then?" Jean asked thhe fishermen. "Maybe I'll join when this is all over." "If you survive the island," the older one said. "Excuse me?" "You heard what he said," the one with the atrocious haircut cut in. "That's why we're going to fish. Better tobe there instead of on the island if things go sideways." "Well at least I've got my pistol," Jean murmured to himself. "Want to hear a joke?" the mustachioed soldier asked. "Sure," the younger man shrugged. "Corrington." The younger soldier burst out in obnoxious laugh. "Alright, that was good. Want to hear a joke?" "Eslandola?" mustache asked. "Damnit how did you know?" I took some insipration from the island villages in Assassin's Creed: Black FLag for this one. It's good to be building again as well.
  5. Kiray takes a deep breath as she comes to. "What in Hel hit me? Thanks for that." She repeats.
  6. The lack of plants was actually due to not having enough pieces to have sugarcane. The torso comes from the POTC Silent Mary for Henry. The head is from Ki-Adi Mundi from Star Wars.
  7. http://OL - FB - Small Sugarcane Plantation
  8. Emile, We've made a purchase of a sugarcane plantation on Breshaun. This will make our rum production much easier due to us not having to import as much for production. I hired Nicolas, an expert farmer, top overlook the farm. We've just started planting (did you know planting sugarcane is possible??), and hopefully we will have good soon. I had a small hut built for people to rest at after working in the hot sun, along with a rotating guard to make sure nothing is stolen or sabatoged. All my love, Elise My dear Elise, You have no idea how much it pleases me to see your letter. I'll soon be back to you after our expedition. Our expanding business is fantastic, and you are doing a wonderful job overlooking these business deals. I hope Henri and the others of the crew aren't giving you too much trouble. I look forward to seeing the sugarcane plantation when I return. With all my love, Emile Background of the build: Over the past few months I've gone to my local LEGO store and PAB wall quite a few times, grabbing whatver I thought I would need for builds. Finally todaty I had some freetime to build physically, and it was great to be able tp build something with real bricks rather than digital (as great as LDD is). I'm sorry the pictures (or at least the setup) isn't the best.
  9. I voted for the mix, merely because I can see diving suits being a thing (such as the one-man submarine "Turtle" that was documented in 1775), with aheavy leaning into the historicity. Puckle guns, diving suits, etc (within limited uses) make sense to me, but going into the steampunk type of world would make me turn away from the game, as I want Age of Sail with this. I know I haven't been around a lot recently (yay real world), but I would prefer to keep this game as much to the historical era we set it in as much as possible.
  10. "This is where the fun begins," Kiray says as she scrambles onto the wyvern. "Let's torch these folk."
  11. "Ah! My damn head!" one of the Oleander expedition members said, rubbing his bald cranium after hitting it on a low hanging portion of the cave. He muttered, "Better be worth it." Emile talked with one of the fishermen who found the caves after the tide receded. "You just forgot this place?" "We haven't had to access it," the fisherman answered in his thick accent. "Besides, it was unaccessible for some time." "Right." Emile looked at his dirty boots from mucking around in the cave. The fisherman saw this and laughed. "You people and your white, clean clothes. Look at me! I went prepared! Pants off so no need to clean." "Yes, I see," Emile said, turning away. He wanted to mention the man's underclothes were a bit too small, but he didn't want to risk breaking some cultural norm he had not learned yet. Hebert called out from looking at the skeletons in alcoves. "You just bury your dead here? Are you not worried that scavengers could carry them off?" "Of course not," the fisherman answered. Emile noticed how the man never said how. "Sir!" Emmanuel shouted after there was a tumble of rock. "I think I found something!" Everyone immediately rushed over. There was a dirty chest, and everyone poulled the rocks away. The Fisherman said, "Yes, that should be it." Emile knelt down beside the chest and carefully opened it, finding the next clue.
  12. Well the past month I got some (a lot) bricks off the PAB wall, got the Aston MArtin, the Nexo Knights Aaron's Xbow, Berserker Bomber, Aragog's Lair, and Ninjago City. I may have a slight addiction.
  13. Yeah, crashing while cinematically cool, probably won't pan out.
  14. Kiray does whatever is suggested for her. She mutters a long string of cursewords and grits her teeth.
  15. "A level up mushroom or an airship? For if it's the latter, those things are not fun to fight on. At least if a boat sinks you could swim. An airship you fall straight from the sky and leave a nasty splat."
  16. Kiray eats a level-up mushroom, bringing her to LEvel 29 as she goes with the others. "You think seasickness is bad? Try flying on an airship."
  17. Clearly they can be used as great throwing weapons or as training weapons for grenadiers.
  18. "Now this is going to be a party," Kiray says, feeling excited at Atramor's words. She chugs a nostrum and grins wide. "Whether we win or lose today, they'll be singing stories of us for years. Let's make sure they're happy stories." She follows Atramor and the others out.
  19. Kiray snaps back from zoning out when people began to mention things she couldn't keep up with. "The fort seems important to go there. I'm all for blowing that damn wall to Hel."
  20. Kiray makes a quick bow to the Wolfgang leader. "Ulric, I'm glad to see you're unharmed."
  21. "Let's get going," Kiray says, after having watched the exchanges. Sorry all, again. Family came into town and work and apartment hunting have been taking up my time.
  22. "Well this is a party," Kiray says as she lends a hand to help out the others from the wall that just was bashed through. "Anyone need health from that?"
  23. "Rice for those who served!" Emile calls out to the veteerans, those who were forgotten. "Come and get your fill! We have enough for everyone. I know it's difficult, but for those who sacrificed, we will share." "Food! Please!" there were cries from the forgotten veterans of the recent war. "We have enough for all!" a RNTC guard calls out. One guard came to Emile and whispered, "That one man with the fish and tattoos. He is the hairiest person I've ever seen." Emile looked down to the man. "You weren't joking!" "We wish to help those who have lost so much," Emile said, looking back to the growing crowd. He then sent a letter to the Huintress. "We're here to help. We need the Quiver to make sure people are safe, to make sure the innocent are safe, to make sure those who are wounded can survive."
  24. "Well," Kiray says, "good to see everyone again. Glad to see nobody is too hurt."
  25. Kiray looks on, dumbfounded at another Hero appearing before her. "You know, you look a little worse for wear. Maybe you should sit down for a moment."
