  1. I like them, especially the background on the Priests. The mining companies would definitely be easy to include in the lore that a lot of people could do... now quick question, are Rock Raiders a rival organization?
  2. I love how the scum thought I was a PR. I'm never a PR
  3. Congrats Town! That was an interesting night log!
  4. Doesn't sound like Chris Pratt for Emmet. Did they get the guy who voiced Emmet in the Legoland 4-D film for this? I like the short though.
  5. No worries on not quoting. My main issue with is it say you're using a gun/blaster or whatever, why can't you target someone oin the front row/close range, and vice versa, etc. And honestly right now I don't have a suggestion/solution and I'm sorry for that. An idea I have is what's the chance of a physical weapon (sword, knife, polearm, etc) blocking a bullet/plasma bolt like Star Wars? But then that becomes too much for the QM to calculate. I do love the bullet idea, as I think it would force players when hey start off to choose how they want to play, and the economy has an effect with buying stuff, etc. Of course enemies can drop rounds or whatever mid quest/after battles, so players can continue their playstyle but not feel forced into playing something they aren't speced to. My first idea is for "guns/blasters/whatever" weapons to have a percentage, as well as swords, etc. The system below is just what I made up right now, probably has no balance and makes no sense, but trying to figure this out. Close Range, Medium Range, Long range weapons of melee and guns/blasters. Very rudimentary, and I know it's atrocious. I'm saying, what is the point of contact that does damage for melee, and what is the best "quick draw accuracy" for range. I've kinda used your classes for them. They could be combined depeneding on weapon or something. I know none of the following really make sense, and they probably get worse as they go on with my adjustments, and QMs would hate it. Just trying to get an idea. Close melee weapons: knives, batons, short swords, fists, etc 100% hit first row, 50% hit second, 25% third Large melee weapons: long swords, maces, flails, similar, 25% hit first row; 75% hit second, 100% third Reach weapons: Polearms, whips, similar; 10% first; 60% second row; 100% third Small arms: Revolvers/pistols, mini-crossbow, wands; 100% close; 50% hit second; 25% third Spread/Shotgun: 10% First row; 70% medium; 20% long range Auto weapons/Rifles/Blasters: 5% close; 80% medium; 15% long range Bow weapons, could honestly go into auto Heavy weapons: 0% close; 50% medium; 50% long Sniper weapons; 0% close, 20% medium, 80% long
  6. For weaponry, I agree with you, that it needs more blasters, whichI've tried to include in the figs I've made. The dwarf crossbow/blaster works I say though. For rows, I agree with this as well. I think different ranges need to be included otherwise everything is the same but characters just choose what they want to use.
  7. Thanks!... which ones are Ultron? I just got some new stuff froma FaceBook group on Sunday and I havent seen Age of Ultron so really all I know is Cap Amerc, Iron Man, Star Lord, and Scarlet Johansson, but I know I used a lot of those pieces. Regarding the Space Gunner, isn't that all of us, hating jobs? And please do make some figs! I think we're (collectively) nailing down a feel from both figbarfing and text. I'm definitely going to lean more sci-fi than sci-fantasy, but I think we're close!
  8. I really like the Undead Lancer and Cleric. Looks like we're gonna need more Nexo Knights sets for this Ah that's right. And agree on the cyborg.
  9. Sorry for the double, but I made some more figures that I think are closer to WBD's figures than the last ones I made. I wanted to add min some more alien-like figures that I could manage with my limited parts in my apartment, as well as a robot. Was there ever an automata PC in Heroica? Good thing about a futuristic Heroica 2.0 is maybe people would feel like trying out a character like that. Space Mage Orc, Space Gunner, Town Watch w/personal shield generator Space rogues Space Knight w/fire sword, Robot/Automata, Space rogue
  10. Looking at them again, I definitely think it's the wizard hat and the quiver on the dwarf that's throwing me.
  11. Well it looks better than I thought when I first heard it would be a garage. Still not sure on my thoughts for it overall. I love the sign for the garage "By accident we meet" though.
  12. In my opinion, a bit too fantasy, but the good idea of sci-fantasy is we're allowed a wide variey. The figs I posted in the General Discussion thread I think are more sci-fi (some bordering on post-apoc), so I think if we can find a medium, especially if others throw in ideas of figs that can round out everything.
  13. I got 60117, 31053, 76021, and 76032 today for $100. Pretty happy althouh some pieces are missing I think. Oh well.
  14. So here's some figs I threw together for an idea of what things could look like. Space Chief Low-Level Space Knight Orc Sniper Space Rogue Space Techie Space Vampire What I would say would be my character, going for the Rule of Cool.
  15. That's a cool banner as well! For magic, making battles challenging for spellcasters was challenign because they essentially had unlimited ether after a certain point, and all magic basically used only one point it felt like. As The Legonator mentions below, a skill-tree would help diversify, and it also seems like a way to make classes easier. Say there's three or so basic classes (I'm pulling from Destiny and Dragon Age for this), and then the subclasses/abilities really make players different. They could be jack of all trades, master of none or specialize into a specific subset. I like the idea of Heroica 2.0 being a continuation of Heroica instead of a completely new setting. It can serve as a great way for vets to world build, see descendents, in-jokes, etc. And newcomers won't feel the need to read up on Heroica but can if they want. Personally, I would love full planets, and even if we start the game without them, it'd be pretty easy to add them in.
  16. That's a great banner and the mixing of Heroica and Classic Space logo is perfect. I remember years back I pitched the subtitle "Adventure Among the Stars" or something. I think something similar would be cool to include.
  17. Hooray! I'll throw some stuff together as well.
  18. Thanks for letting me play! What a crazy past few threads. Best of luck to all players!
  19. Well, to be honest it is a revenge vote, but I also think he's scum sooo
  20. I could've sworn someone at some point a year ago at least mentioned doing something like this, like a little book of the quests or something.
  21. No. I made that because I am town and unfortunately cannot prove it unless an investigator or a spokesperson speaks up, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't investigated, and I'm pretty sure if I survive today I'll be taken out by scum or vigilante. I am vanilla town and only have my vote. I reached out to Wonder Woman, she did not come to me. I reached out when Finn started his wild accusations, and I told Wonder Woman in the PM I hoped she was neutral or town because I was allying with her after I revenge voted Finn and she was questioning him in the day thread. There wasn't much to go on and we were concerned the scum would go after her. The last thing she told me was her info she recieved from a source on Moody being scum. That's why I jumped in right when voting opened and after Wonder Woman started the vote. Also sorry for the delay in posting, I had a busy day this morning.
  22. Well since I'm town that's how. Of course you have to take my word for it.
  23. The quote below is the one. I'm town (yes of course, everyone says that), but if the "voting together" thing did happen, I'd say Barbossa is the scum in that pairing.
  24. Very nice! It's a great fit for classic pirates. I think there are just too many soldiers and not enough civilians. Otherwise great job.
