Heroica RPG - Quest #159: An Unexpected Return - Sewers
KotZ replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
If Kiray is revived, she attacks from the front with her sword twice. -
Would you like me to give a better reason? When I'm finished with my admiral duties for the day I can put explain myself.
-
Perhaps I'm missing something, but you were hoping for a bandwagon? Or are you saying I was bandwagoning as the second vote? Just asking for clarification.
-
In my defense for the quick follow-up, I'm just nearly always have this browser open when things are happening as I like to be as up to date as I can, except when it's sleep time.

Heroica RPG - Quest #159: An Unexpected Return - Sewers

Kiray kinda just lays dying, waiting for someone to revive her. -
Not defending Ozzel, but I'm slightly against this idea of a no-lynch is anti-empire. We've gone over it so many times over the pros and cons of a day one lynch vs a no lynch. It really depends on luck if someone will be completely inactive and a detriment to the town, or hoping a scum slips up be it either by pushing too hard one way or stating something that could help the town. I think the rest of your points for him are valid though. As Dellus so kindly put above me (the vote posts), there certainly were joke posts, my own included. But Ozzel did not seem to give a reason for his vote, unless I'm missing something. Vote: Adm. Ozzel (Actor Builder)

I've been here for awhile, and had some very mini-dark ages where I still checked the site almost every day but wasn't active. For me, I've found that there's just a lot of stuff that takes up my time and I'm active, but not as much as I would like sometimes. I think we all are looking through things with a bit of nostalgia, but I agree that some comments and discussions have been more terse as of late. I think part of it is with some of the older members slowly becoming less active (I remember eagerly awaiting reviews from Svelte) and a newer crop of members coming in. Maybe it's an age gap thing. Maybe I felt that some newer members seemed a little immature at points and the more "experienced" members stepping in. Of course, we all had to learn the rules of this forum and the culture, but it does seem different, at least a little bit. Absolutely, especially more LDD ones as there are definitely members who for one reason or another stick to LDD as their primary building. Even if it's a collab build (when was that last one?). They were a lot of fun. I like them. They're cute, fun ways to see things about the board and learn a bit about other members. I use lists mainly for inspiration on MOCs like for ships and buildings. Not sure how up to date they are though. All the time. With Heroica ending though, I'm hoping we'll be able to get a new RPG running soon. Yup, I stick to Brickshelf though.

Great work! It's awesome seeing some brickbuilt roads, and as Stefaneris said, the texturing is fantastic. I love seeing how busy the layout is but it's not cluttered at every single place.
-
Hopefully we can get a town block going quickly. I'll take partial blame for being noncommittal. I think right now the tops suspects, from what I've gathered in thread, are you, Shelby, Daala.

As Captain Fenton noted, below are the people who she voted for and was voted by. I think that's too risky of a move for scum to take, doing a revenge kill night one, but I'd be glad to be wrong.

Hopefully the cop has accessed the tapes and was able to see the scum changing. That would be really helpful.

If Kiray is revived, she drinks a nostrum and attacks with her sword of fire and light from the back. -
This is basically what I want to do with my life, and there's a few ideas I've wanted to do. The biggest one is to redo the Sword of Truth series that was adapted as Legend of the Seeker by ABC. Let's just say that the adaptation is a very, very, very loose adaptation that doesn't do the books justice, Like or hate the book series, the tv show was awful. I'd pitch this to HBO, Cinemax, etc. There's 11 books in total of the original series. The first two books would each be their own 10-13 episode season, probably 10 for budgetary. Books 3,4, and 5 would be two seasons overall, with around 10 episodes each or so. Books 6 and 7 can do 10 episodes for a single season. Books 8-11 would take two seasons to finish up the story. So 7 seasons overall to cover 11 books. Of course, some things would be cut, and Season 5 (Books 6 and 7) could begin to squeeze in book 8, depending on how much we want to cut and streamline.

It was a fun joke and I currently don't feel strongly about anyone right now.
-
Last game was an odd game overall. We can waffle back and forth over whether it's good or not to lynch Day 1. That was exactly what killed the town last game, we went really into the tiny details that didn't matter and that's how the scum won.
-
Vote: GRand Moff Tarkin (LegoMonorailFan) I knew the Rebels would infiltrate the highest levels of the Empire! A Trekkie here? Amongst the greatest military leaders of the glorious Empire? Absolute scum.
-
I haven't either, but let's not rule it out on Day 1. I remember I read a story and there was a man who reminded me of myself who was lynched and had a role called a gladiator, which seemed to confuse everyone. Are you meaning that kind of surprise or twist?
-
Quick, @CMP, post that your forgot something there and need to pick it up!
-
I see your assessment there. There's certainly been flimsier arguments made for no-lynch first day. @Sandy I'm slightly against the idea of going after the more active ones. Of course, scum try to appear active, but if a loyal town member isn't active, they're just clogging the pipes and we should flush them down into the trash compactor. Of course, we should still analyze what active people say otherwise we get nowhere.
-
I still have nightmares of calculating things for that quest.
-
Everyone has been accounted for, have they not? And not intending to be meta, but isn't that what always happens? We waffle back and forth on some inane comment and mostly we're wrong with the lynch because a bandwagon forms so everyone can claim "voting patterns"? A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
-
But as you said, that's a joke, and it should have no bearing on today, right?
-
Just when I thought my wallet was going to be safe for awhile, they go and release this.

Lord Vader and Mara Jade? This is serious.
