  1. @Sandy I dig it. Regarding a possible H2.0 (water?), I just saw the new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 came out. I know it's a video game (based off the Cyberpunk 2020 RPG), but maybe it's worth looking into that system and simplifying where necessary?
  2. Black Monarchs were way before my time, but I would guess they are somewhat of antiheroes, if they work with the Falcons and also fight them.
  3. That man is an international treasure and I want all the HeroQuest things. I agree with Kinto, be it questing or whatever, I'm there.
  4. Oh man, I haven't heard BrickQuest in a looooong time. I'm fine with trying anything. And I check this subforum nearly every day! It's like looking in the fridge, seeing nothing new, and then checking it again five minutes later.
  5. Very nice! I really like the roof for the windmill. The technique is genius.
  6. 1. Have you ever played Mafia before? If you answered yes, when was the last time you played on Eurobricks? Yes, most recent was Forest 3 by the fantastic Hinckley. 2. Do you have time to commit to a game of mafia? The game is expected to last roughly one month. Yup. I'll even commit my life if it takes that long. 3. "Why should I invite you to my cosplay house party?" -Karie Because I wear deodorant.
  7. I went on Sunday and snagged quite a few blue lightsaber blades, as well as a buch of gold flags. Some gray 2x4s and 2x6s were in there, as some other stuff.
  8. I've had an idea for a game recently, but I'll gladly wait for Kintobor to host. Also, while I do like the anonymous games, I wouldn't host one.
  9. Great game! Beautiful sets and photos. I added in the whol Oooh thing because I kept hearing an ad on the radio and everyone seemed to do that and it just got me really angry.
  10. I noticed he posted the same thing to like five different posts.
  11. Some more figbarfing for ideas and lore. Jumping super far ahead of coure, but some creativity and not just rules. An engineer-styled character Heavy soldier with a short-range gun. Alien heavy spellcaster. Supposedly a boss of some sort. The Order of Bona Partes; acolyte and master. The Order is ancient, dedicated to teaching navigation of the stars with magic working in tandem with technology. They own a great multitude of ships, usually loaned out for private tours dedicated to showing off the mystical arts, as well as providing ships for the Galactic Confederation's navy. Acolytes are taken in at a young age to hone their technological skills at an early age and then later on devote their studies to the mystic arts. Galactic Confederation soldiers; commander and light infantry. The Galactic Confederation is a splintered group. Yet the one thing the various parties agree is necessary is an armed force to protect the government, mainly its officials. Commanders have risen through the ranks or have purchased commisions thanks to family ties. Soldiers are volunteers, hoping to earn their way up in the ranks orescape their homeworlds. Despite various parties' attempts at a homogenous force, the military does an effective job at integrating the various alien species present in the galaxy.
  12. Sounds like a really good set up. If I wasn't so busy with work I'd be in.
  13. I wholeheartedly agree with both of you.
  14. If I'm not mistaken there was a Heroica 1.0 index of previous enemies. I guess the problem is because there were so many different quests with so many different enemies, not to mention the leveling up.
  15. True. A Tool to see numbers would work pretty well, if we weren't going to show original numbers.
  16. Yes, aside from specific quest instances/trusted QMs running something for a specific reason. I think it would help keep transparency between players and QMs. While I don't think it would be abused, I'd rather not let the option of "Oh you just destoyed my boss in two rounds, well I'll make it six rounds!" happen. Not knowing the stats of an enemy should only happen on approved quests/events, as in the QM cleared it with a Lore Master/Quest Master to make sure everything is a-ok.
  17. Yes please. On page 4 or 5 I posted some of my thoughts/ramblings on a system for a quest. After all the great stuff people have been adding, I'm wanting to wait until we have a bit better idea for magic and combat before running that test quest, but we definitely need one. When would APs replenish? After every battle? Could players use "tonics" or something to replenish during battle? The only question I have (that may have been answered earlier) is what uses an action point? Because that might result in ranged weapons being superior again.
  18. I'm about to make a Bricklink order for more parts,so I think I'll add some of those soon.
  19. I think Flipz' siggestion of Spirit being universal can help with this, making spellcasters different but still relatively equivalent, as now players have the choice to spec into magic or not. Regarding ulitity spells for weapon combatants, is that a possible thing to add? I think having Spirit be a way to act as what spell you can use, activate, etc is probably one of the better options, as difficulty of spells can be increased throughout the game/quest. Perhaps spellcasters can choose what level they want to attempt? Like Fire Ball I or III, etc. Restocking of said resource can also come right after a battle, and I think the proficiencies can come in handy with this. I suggested Survival earlier be a way to have HP restore after battles. Maybe there's something similar for spell casting?
  20. Defend should be a thing, like take a round to defend, possibly get a chance to up shields or health, rather than use a potion or fight. I feel like "spells" for only fighters is somewhat iffy though. While it wouldn't be too difficult to make a sperate list, I think the challenge would be in making sure there are equal abilities for fighter and spellcasters. And also, if becoming a spellcaster is easy, like you just need a single proficiency in Arcana./Occult/etc, it wouldn't be totally necessary for fighter "Spells." Especially if people were wanting to cross-class or whatever the term in DnD is. For the Dragon Age Origins fans out there, Arcane Warrior and Spirit Warrior forever. You bring up some really good points though. Forget "Spin Out," let's just go for Spinjitzu on this one if we use it. As a side note, in the lore can we have an evil faction called Galidorians?
  21. I agree with @LEGO Train 12 Volts, that first modular is spectacular. I think it just needs some flooring on the interior, as you can see into it fairly easily. And that phonebox is very cool. I'd love to see more pictures.
