  1. Thanks for your work but thats as far as I got myself. Maybe someone else has an idea..
  2. Word of my cool mom travels fast, apparently Unfortunately she's neither into online stuff nor into joining any forums for that matter but she builds, and that is more important, I think. I slowly infected her again over the years, she even exhibited last year, and when I asked if she would be interested in coming along to Billund, I only heard a "yes, please". So thats it. Driving skills don't matter, I have my license long enough, but the petrol pays itself much easier this way +1 for this and team challenges...
  3. Any idea where this torso is coming from? There's a part number associated to it - "6080458" - but I can't find anything that connects to it. Many thanks in advance!
  4. My +1 is my mom and goes by her first name "Andrea" (doesn't have an account here though).
  5. Indeed. The airport is so small that the 747 from DHL looks so out of place because its so big. It would be like 15-20min by foot I guess. I have to talk with my mother first but I don't think that picking you up will be a big issue. After all we're not the only ones coming by car. Lets setup up some kind of "Who is gonna arrive at what time"-topic so we can maybe schedule pick-ups and stuff? Me, my mom and Miss Kyle and her other half will be arriving by car between 4-6pm Wednesday afternoon, depending on the traffic.
  6. So... How does this work then in my case? Half of the year I live in Dublin, Ireland and the other half of the year I live in my hometown Oberkochen, Germany.. Feel free to add me with both or just with my German address.. Cheers!
  7. To quote Emmet: "Everything is awesome!" Just booked flights the other day, so looking forward to May! Thanks, guys, for all the hard work!
  8. Would you mind including my island of Moria in the new map? Same place as before, with the small island on the right to it. I know I haven't been building lately but I will be back once I finished this semester. (I much prefer the design of the old map.. Can't you ask Legonardo for the files I'm wondering?)
  9. The TC-4 is back in stock. Maybe one of the British / Irish fellows can order it. (I can't, TRU-deliveries never reach my place for some weird reason ) I would love one, too, of course.
  10. Could you put one fancy blonde elf down for me? (30215) Thanks!
  11. Very original moc, love those great camouflage huts as well as using a cylcops tribe! (Loved those figs, great that somebody is using them!) And.. another lovable tree ;)
  12. Same as de Gothia: I love the first image! This time your technique for the rocks really works even though I would try to use some cheese or some tiles to get rid of the studs sticking out at the bottom. You're castle structures are both great! Nice story!
  13. Its a shame I hadn't had time yet to comment on your beautiful tower. Means I can't add too much to the guys before me. ;) Generally I hate the look that Derfel and Legonardo use so much cause it makes every structure appear so cluttered, rundown and unrealistic. Doing it monochromatic and in dark bluish gray it looks rather appealing - thanks for opening my eyes to this! The windows are quite impressing, too - something I'm going to steal one day - as well as the trees! The only thing I don't like too much as it looks quite unnatural (not a bad thing, we are in Nocturnus) and impractical is the base. Not too sure about this angled way of building. Top notch build, dear Torgar! A winning one if I had to guess. Well done!
  14. Great tower, Gideon! The tree is brilliant ( ) as is the irregular base. Not really sure about the green surface though. Also nice techniques in the tower - especially the windows are nicely done!
  15. Something with a hint of Bricking Bavaria ;) A lot of great ornaments so far! Thanks for the raffle, Mike!
  16. Love the Mountain Elves! I'd go for them! You don't have to go with the cliche and use the shadow elves, right?
  17. Wonderful build! I especially love the water wheel! Also nice incorporation of all the new CMFs - love the elf with his stash! Also your photography is great as usual. Hope you don't mind the question but what do you use to make the colors appear like that? Is it the white balance setting, the lights or the editing? Hope you can shed some light on that.
  18. Lovely color choice, the foliage works brilliantly! (I NEED to get my hands at some more of the dark orange leaves!) I also like the minimalistic tent - nice little technique. It seems that you mastered vignettes and small scenes - now I'm looking forward to some larger scenes & mocs by you - your stuff looks very promising!
  19. Beautiful! I love the idea and the execution is also very nice! So much going on and so many details to see - and for some reason it totally reminds me of the camps in Skyrim. Love the tree on the right! Any insights in the technique? Keep on the great work!
  20. Nice one, guys! Looking forward to the pictures! I would have loved to come but I was at Bricking Bavaria in Munich just the weekend before and I wasn't able to skip more of college. Hope I can make it next year though! Post the dates once you know them so other members can plan ahead! ;) Btw: I'll be in Skaerbaek next year again, anybody already planning to attend? (Ecclesiastes? )
  21. 1. Its true. 2. I can laugh about my mistakes. So: Totally fine. I will wear this title with pride!
  22. Sorry for being absent for the past weeks! Many awesome Mocs I want to comment on but no time right now. I've been to Germany for the Bricking Bavaria exhibit in Munich where I took part in and now am dealing with all the friends and family that want to meet me. The annoying bit of living abroad: Having no time for oneself while at home. Nor building. Btw: Thanks for the title. I guess I have it for ages now and never noticed it. Who's responsible?
  23. There are two chalet responsibles in your chalet. So what about making Vincent responsible of another chalet - if he has no objections - and filling it up with the non-Germans of Holodocs chalet? For example: Chalet 1. Holodoc (responsible), Grogall, Skalldyr, Rolli+1 (or another one if we move my mom to another chalet) Chalet 2. Vincent Kessels (responsible), Eiker86, Scubacarrot, Etzel, [missing] The only issue with that is that two chalets have only 4 people staying in them right now but I guess we can fill them up with people who are still signing up. Opinions on that? Also I was talking to my mum tonight and she has no issues whatsoever to stay with the ladies.
  24. I love the idea of these White Elves, the flesh faces work really nicely here! I especially like the character with all the blood lines on his face, combined with the blonde, long hair he (?) looks even more menacing. Now if these hairs would only come in white, I bet that would be even more creepy! The base is quite simple but I think that this is totally okay as its all about the figs this time. Like the guidon on the left!
  25. I just adore the color usage for the grass. Dark blue and dark green go in hand just fine! *taking note* Also like your figs. I never was a big fan of the Chima stuff but they actually seem to work! Nice one! The rock is quite stunning, too. Looking forward to more of your builds!
