I suspect you are looking for normal plates. The largest available one would be the 16x16 plate. You can find a list of all available plate sizes here.

EB event 2015, 4-7 June, Windsor UK Information topic
Rolli replied to CopMike's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
I think there is 1 free day of Legoland Windsor for Merlin pass holders from other Legolands if I'm not mistaken. Maybe we can take this into account for the schedule. Then again I don't know how many of us would actually be eligible for this (I have a Merlin pass from Legoland Germany). Also I will be able to take care of the usual clothing line that Dfenz was taking care of the last years (he is very unlikely to come). More on this later though. -

I'm most definitely in, looking forward to seeing all of you again! Superb choice for the place, looks really nice! -
He actually showed me how he did it when I visited him last year: He coated a sheet of paper with a very thin layer of glue - barely enough to keep the tiles from rocking around - and placed the tiles on top of it, arranging them into the pattern using tweezers and whatnot. Very cumbersome and long process but totally worth it I think.

EB Xmas Raffle 2014 - Your Ideal Christmas Gift entry thread
Rolli replied to CopMike's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm fortunate enough to be happy with what I have and I don't ask for Christmas presents at all. If I had to ask for the ideal but crazy thing, I'd ask for a (second) car. Its the only thing I have constant fights about with my sister as we are sharing one - and who wouldn't like a fancy red sportscar? Built at the Lego Fanwelt in Cologne, Germany last weekend from 2x4 bricks in the kids zone. Due to my lack of bricks when studying abroad this has to do it so nothing fancy or flimsy this time Thanks for the raffle, Mike! Such a fun thing every single year! May everybody have a wonderful Christmas, even if I'm 4 weeks early for that wish :) -
Great seeing you here, Paul! Fantastic lighting there along with a stunning little vignette. I really like the colour scheme, and even though this thing is rather small, its probably one of my favourite mocs of yours. I'm not a huge fan of customising or editing figs but I'm on your side with this one. The simple desaturation works great here. Looking forward to your future GoH mocs!

Cool stuff! Really like how the garage doors look like, seems like the perfect solution for greenhouses! (*mental note there*) (The interior looks a bit like an ice-cream-shop with all those cones - that means that you can grow ice-cream in greenhouses??? Norway must be a great country to live in )

Dang! Thanks for the reminder, Kayne! I still have to put something together..

Mmh. Such a tough decision. Would have loved to plotted something with the dwarves but in the end the siege weapons were a no-go for me. So: Men's side, please!

Very cool little vignette! Even though you say its simple I really like the color scheme with the blue and dark orange spots. Also, the orange tree is a really nice touch! I really like the bezel around the tree, such a simple technique but with the colors you used it looks quite beautiful. Same goes for the roof! I'd say you should do some more Kaliphin in the future

Cool little vignette, I really like how realistically overgrown the tree looks.

If anybody has issues with the application forms due to being in German I'm happy to help! I'll be there from Thursday to Sunday, hoping to meet some fellow EB-folk! -
Cool techniques throughout the build as well as a really nice composition! I'm quite fond of those logs and sawn trees, great techniques there! We need more Forestmen / Robin Hood creations like that

Someone should update the first page now that Ecc has officially proclaimed our scheme Ecc, Legopard and myself will be in Skaerbaek doing some representing for the guilds with some amazing stuff

[MOC] - Task 4 - Grey Beard Wizard's Cottage
Rolli replied to cesbrick's topic in Guilds of Historica
Gosh, this thing is a beauty! I really really love all the detailing and even though personally I'm not a huge fan of the 'Derfel and Legonardo building style' you achieved something great here (and might have convinced me that you can really use those techniques to something beautiful). This is a stunning MOC and I have no idea where you've been the last years! The color scheme is soo cool, stellar vegetation and all the little details such as the telescope totally won me over! I'm always trying to give some constructive criticism but here I'm not finding anything at all.. I guess I have nothing to add One final question though - and I know that its one that every builder hates : How much time did you spend on this beauty? Keep up the great work! (Also I really like how your photography improved from the last build!) -
Does LEGO ever publish designer credits?
Rolli replied to klinton's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Marcos Bessa lists the sets he designed or where he was part of the design team on his website / portfolio. -
It is this head out of these sets. Last seen in 2005. If you need to find other heads similar to this one in the future the fastest method would be searching for heads in yellow and combining that with the keyword "beard" over on bricklink.

I'm wondering if you are able to create houses without faces Beautiful, once again. The roof technique is quite amazing and I really like the comical look it conveys. The brown bits on the corners also look really nice. I don't like the plants though. I feel like you should have gone for something green or at least something more colourful as the whole scene is in the same color scheme and could use some diversity. Finally this little thing feels like nothing Mitgardian at all. It looks like its placed in the deserted Kaliphin area.. Just my 2 cents, the build itself is great!

Thank you! There are actually quite a number of different reasons: First of all I tried hard to keep the feel of the original model. Maintaining the color scheme was very important to me as well as the general shape. Also I wanted it to indeed be a podracer and not mash it up with something else like I did the two rounds before with the pirate theme or the 'orient express'. You can't really picture the badass Sebulba delivering letters or being a Victorian police man (sorry, not really coming up with great examples here but you get the idea..). Then two other things came into play that totally influenced the model: I still have most of the other models I built for this contest intact as I'm doing a Steamwars display with Legopard at the Fanweekend in Skaerbaek in 4 weeks. This made the part selection utterly limited, for example all my pearl gold and brown was pretty much gone. Then the podracer features another 'issue' (which really isn't one as I worked around it and as I liked the challenge): Its turbines are circular, they have a small diameter and the podracer is a symmetrical vehicle. There is just not a lot of space to do something crazy as I did the last two rounds and also you are pretty limited regarding techniques or you have to be pretty inventive. It has to hold together after all. Haha, no offense taken, no worries. I just never do something just because the majority would like it, thats just not me. I guess I'm more an artist than a people pleaser Actually it was quite easy to decide. I was joking with Legopard to do a collab for the final pretty much from the beginning of the contest as we chatted quite a lot about it weeks before. It was something that hadn't been done before and how amazing would it be to mess with everybody and upload a collaborative entry. He didn't make it to the final final though but that didn't change the decision. (I thought about it for 2 minutes if I should do the Falcon. I found it to be quite a boring model to do and went for the podracer due to being way more complex but also because it is indeed a model that is very rarely built. I knew pretty much from the start of this round that Markus would build the Falcon, and there is no point in competing with the exact same ship. If I wanted to beat him I had to beat him in a different way - he is phenomenally effective at building big stuff that looks amazing, theres just no point trying the same thing and hoping it actually yields a result..) I'm pretty happy with the - yes, indeed - unusual choice. Its crazy how few comments it actually receives but I can live with it as I'm totally behind my decision. I love the final MOC, way more than Markus' Falcon (no offence at all, it is very well done, just not my style!) A lot of people hoped for SSDs, Death Stars, MFs, RBRs - but why? Whats the point? They are actually totally boring ships and quite easy to do (unless you go big and I have the feeling that thats the thing that people are expecting..). If you make it all the way to the finale you want to do something unusual I think, surprise the crowds, play with them in a way. Excite them with something they didn't expect. Which totally worked I think.

You set the picture to private over on flickr. Therefor we can't see it nor your claim. You might want to update that so you can officially claim your new home Works now, awesome! I'm still working on the new version of the map, it takes much longer than expected thanks to excessive building during the last weeks..
