  1. Unfortunately not. I was there multiple times during the last two weeks and the only CMFs they had were Series 10 and a small number of Series 9 bags. CMFs is a good topic. For an exhibition in August I'm still looking for the following in multiple numbers each: Series 7 Bagpiper Series 8 Actor Series 8 Conquistador Series 8 Diver Series 8 Lederhosen Guy Series 8 Santa My trading stuff: 4192 - Fountain of Youth - MISB 30€ 4476 - Jabba's Prize - MISB 40€ - 4 available 7115 - Gungan Patrol - MISB 50€ - 2 available 9473 - Mines of Moria - MISB 70€ - 4 available 30201 - Ghost - MISB 6,50€ - 11 available Of course, everything is negotiable. I also have a bunch of Series 6 CMFs if somebody is looking for them.
  2. Guys, I'll be joining for the whole event after all. One of my job assignments was cancelled so I'm free the first week of June! As mentioned before I won't need the accommodation, I'm going to drive (from) home every day which is like 45min from Günzburg.
  3. Nice stuff, holodoc. Yummy Alamut there, never got my hands on those.. Lets see what I can dig out for trading even though I can only join you for a day or so. Sure thing, I managed to get some. I have some spares - three or four, I have to check. I'll include them in my trading list later. (David, I can bring one back to Ireland next Saturday and to the next meeting meeting if you like?)
  4. I'll bite myself later but anyway: I won't be able to join you guys for the event after all as my calendar for June got filled with some jobs and other obligations. I may be able to sneak away for a day or so but I can't and won't promise anything. Just in case: Would there be any way to join you for a day in Legoland or something like that?
  5. If I am back in time from studying in Ireland I would love to join. I live quite near to Gunzburg (1-1.5h by car) so I won't use the accommodation provided. I also still have the annual pass for the LL if that is important. I would come by car and I guess my mom who is also into Lego. I will talk to her and confirm that. The car would have 2 to 3 seats. I will also notify my German Lego friends in the region, maybe they would love to join..
  6. If I am back in time from studying in Ireland I would love to join. I live quite near to Gunzburg (1-1.5h by car) so I won't use the accommodation provided. I also still have the annual pass for the LL. I guess there will be even more Lego time in the holidays than I thought :) Looking forward to it!
  7. Very nice work! I love how you managed to achieve such realistic snow. Exceptional deer! Nothing to criticize here except myself as I still don't have these yummy new mushroom dishes. Happy new year!
  8. Happy new year to all of you! I love the newest challenge. Sadly I won't enter. I'm flying back to Ireland on the 6th so time is way too short. I'm looking forward to what you come up with and will gladly help if I can.
  9. I am still looking for someone to help me! Any chances that I can solve this before Christmas? Thank you!
  10. Most impressive woodwork! In love with that style! The figures are a really nice touch. I really like the "windows" in the back.
  11. So much great stuff there, love it! Only thing that I don't like is that hill of green slopes. It doesn't feel natural. Other than that: Brilliant!
  12. "In our age Father Christmas looked different." These are all the 'bricks' I have at the moment. Studying abroad.. I hope that this counts as an entry. Kind regards from Ireland!
  13. Yes, exactly these. I just think that there is no need to use stickers.
  14. Excellent! This should be the winning entry, I like it even more than Z's masterpiece! The tomb, the vegetation, the provisional feel, the look - everything is just where it should be. I wish you best of luck, I am in love with your entry!
  15. What should I write about that, Z? Brilliant as always? Great incorporation of new techniques? Lovely interiors? Everything has been said I guess. Thank you for including my SigFig, I truly had to smile! And thanks for giving me a place to live ;) The horizontal technique for cliffs is very well executed. I tried it once myself but I had way too many parts and forgot about it. Thanks for bringing it back, I might try it again. Next year. I don't know. Two points of critique: I am missing daffodils. And there is something strange about the temple. The roof is great, nothing to say about that, but I find that the base somehow doesn't fit there. Just from a architectural or logical view. But: Its just a minor thing. You will win once again, I guess. (Hey! That would leave me 2nd place in winning challenges ;) ) I look forward to another build from you. It cherishes me every time when I see something from you, especially when I can't build. Something from Varlyrio maybe? (I am already collecting all conquistadors I can get here, so I am preparing and stacking up until I can build again.. ;) ) Kind regards from Ireland!
  16. Lovely architecture, once again. Also brilliant trees, especially because I suck at building them. Also a interesting base. I think you could have included a interior for the grove itself or a something else as its purpose is a bit underrepresented in my opinion. Great nevertheless!
  17. Brilliant building, as always. I don't like the usage of stickers but you used them very well here. Interesting story, looking forward to what happens next. Varlyrio isn't as save as we thought ;)
  18. I can only speak for myself but I am still in love with GoH and Avalonia. (And Evilonia. And Varlyrio.) I very much hope that GoH is active until I come back from my unfortunate building break (studying abroad). That is not until June but even if no-one is building GoH anymore at this point I still have a large list of Mocs I finally want to make alive. Obviously not. I'd love to. But that would mean that I would build. Keep it going, great stuff happened here during the last weeks!
  19. I'll have to second that. Also I want to point out that I liked the way it is photographed. Good work!
  20. Stunning. I really am in love with your creation! Such a nice story, such a great execution and so many details to look at! Great interior as well!
  21. Thanks for the suggestion but thebookpeople.co.uk has some serious markdowns, otherwise I won't even consider buying the Lego books.
  22. Hello! I am currently living in Dublin, Ireland and wanted to order from http://www.thebookpeople.co.uk It currently has tempting prices for various Lego books. The problem is: They are only eligible for customers from the UK. When I entered my shipping information to ship to Ireland, the price changed to Euro and suddenly the book prices went up to about twice the amount they were before when I viewed it in Pound Sterling. Would someone like to help me with this? (I would need someone who would order for me or someone who could offer me a shipping destination in UK and ship it to me afterwards.) The amount of money would be around 120 pound. Shipping is free, I would of course pay the shipping costs from you to me. Kind regards, Markus
  23. Oh, this is great. I love Venice (I've been there like a week ago) so I dig your entry very much. As unhappy I am with just using the standard cmfigs they are fitting perfectly. It would be a perfect fifth guild and I would love to build there (sooorry Avalonians ;) ). Just think about the possibilities of a "floating" city built in the way we Avalonians do with Albion.. Maybe mermaids or some aquatic species would fit nicely in there, just an idea :) I really want to thank you as this thing hit me and I'm running around with a lot of ideas right now.. (Though I wont be able to build as I am studying right now) I'm thinking for example of a large harbour like the arsenal in Venice during the renaissance..
  24. I never thought that blue colors would work this perfect. Great work! I just think that the tree is a bit too small but despite of this I very much like it's outcome. The dolphin is a great touch!
  25. Brilliant idea and an excellent execution! I love the architecture and how well everything fits together. The bonsai tree is a very nice touch, this tiny bit of green adds so much! Good look in the contest, I love it!
