    I must be in their bad books, I usually get VIP emails after the event has already occurred/started. Last week I got one telling me there was a sale, it came 1 or 2 days after I'd noticed a lot of sets were sold out & discounted.

    I won prize A. I am happy to keep it, but I already have space kitty. If anyone really wants to trade something for it (other than an astromech, I have all of those and don't want multiples) post here. Doesn't have to be from this raffle.

    Talking about boys & pink, in the 80s bright colours were in fashion. Boys (& girls) had pink clothes. Went out of fashion after a time, hasn't come back yet. 10-15 years ago orange went from being a no-no for boys to in fashion, and back out again.

    This is the first time reading this thread that I am here when it hasn't been guessed yet... and of course I don't know what it is...

    My guess is that they deliberately omit new licences or stuff that needs to be kept under wraps until a certain date. We all knew there were Hobbit sets coming out every year in Nov/Dec, but the sets haven't appeared in the catalogue prior to release.

    Well, getting out of the pool is actually easy, but not so easy to get out without bringing some of it with you?

    Obviously it's far from an original idea, but the plot is reminding me more & more of that TV show with T-bag & T-shirt where the girl went to some fantasy world & had to find silver keys, letters or spoons (depending on the series).

    Well it's been out for long enough. Besides I don't watch that stuff for the plot but for the humour. And the hot cartoon ponies.

    Dammit I haven't watched that yet It's not likely, since it is quite an unfashionable style. Not ruling it out, but TLG tends to stick to whatever is cool or normal at the time.

    The themes I tend to buy sets from don't lend themselves to using girl hair, so there may be others I don't know about, but the Castle 2013 princess used Emma's hair in dark red.

    Not from projectiles anyway. At a guess, probably 6 or 8 in a circle/polygon and maybe 2x high? Ouch!

    If I was to build around it I'd use mostly black. I think the Black Gate would work if you had a few of them, but you may want something a bit higher. You could use the parts from another Orthanc, or use Vladek's Fortress. (If you can find one of those!) Unless you have a lot of black or go to Bricklink, it is probably going to cost a bit.
