Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Artanis I replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think it was either Mutley or Madoca who once posted a photo of their car entirely full of BPs after shopping... and shared the info that he bought the house next door to keep his unopened Lego in... -
When an X-Wing (eg) goes out of S@H stock in one country that gets the European box, it is immediately out for all of them (despite being still available on USA S@H). All our S@H orders come from Denmark, not locally (hence the hefty postage). That's where my conclusion comes from, if I'm wrong then I'm wrong, but it makes perfect sense to me.

Next results due by end of November (it says "fall" - which of course is American Northern hemisphere language for Sept-Nov) but we know what these guys are like for releasing results on time... -
LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
Artanis I replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
If you could ban someone from the entire Internet... -
If you want it ASAP (and not next year), then you will have to order it from S@H. The stock your set comes from is for all of Europe too, and those are the resellers you will want to be kept at bay. The Australian price will have absolutely no bearing on those stock levels, only those of the physical release some time next year... assuming that happens... but I don't expect too many retailers will want $1000 Lego sets sitting in their shops.

Voltron & Ship in Bottle IDEAS approved
Artanis I replied to Hoth Rebel's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Was hoping for Voltron & Red Dwarf, was expecting Tram, Diner and/or Voltron. When she brought up the ship in the bottle I had another "noooooooooooooo" moment (like last review) until I realised there was a 2nd set and that it was the one that mattered! Over a year I've been impatiently waiting for this result, and now what hideous price tag it will have (also gotta have 2, you know). I don't mind if it's original 80s Voltron or the new one or what, any recognisable lion Voltron will do for me. Honestly surprised about the ship, to me the joins in the bottle parts visually detract from it too much. But it is a nice piece. I don't think I'd buy it. -
it's all very funny

Looks like this minifig with either the red print removed or missing
-
That is often my suspicion, but when I was @18-20 I was a lot less mature than now, so you can't always be certain that someone's under age. Perception of maturity is often relative.

What, never heard of teasing?

Those middle greys are really brown looking, it's difficult to work out. Without being told the colours, I'd have thought 2 was brown, 3 was dark tan, and 4 was tan (sand yellow), but that's just a trick of the light.

If they are knock-offs then their feedback might reflect as such (or buyers don't notice) -
The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Artanis I replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Now that hi(er) res pics of Star Wars sets have surfaced, the trans yellow canopy seems to have rounded corners on the decoration, suggesting that it is stickered, but their sticker application is so perfect it can be hard to tell some times! (There are a billion stickers on that tiny set!) The red one is definitely trans. That one doesn't look like a sticker to me, but it's still hard to tell.- 991 replies

What is weirding me out is the grand total of ZERO ALIENS in this wave. What is this, Star Wars or Starbucks?
-
I'm guessing Aquazone, it's remarkably similar to these: And the trans red head looks familiar, coincidentally (or not) on an Aquazone body

That's from @30 years ago, not quite 40. It looks like it could be a bear or oversized wolf (like a warg I suppose). Good spot!

Do you mean non-TLJ? I don't know why you are asking about non-TLG sets on EB -

It would be a summary of the "future minifigs" (or whatever it is called) topic, less everything that has been released since it was posted. So if there was such a list (which I doubt) it would be moved to that thread -
LEGO Ideas Discussion
Artanis I replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If it's taking a long time, they must be changing a lot, or just waiting for the optimum moment to produce or release the sets. Honestly, I wonder if this review period will turn out to be worth the wait! It feels like forever... -
The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Artanis I replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
He could just be talking about a tribute set to minifigs or space. There were those small white boxed sets for VIPs not so long ago, or those minifigs collection sets even further back. No need to assume an entire theme or giant D2C, or that he's even referring to Space with his response. Fantasise if you wish, of course.- 991 replies

Terrific, all 3. I never finished my SP1 train. I see that you have cheated with a black motor, but apart from that I am glad that you've used parts from the period, I think it helps to fit in with a display of the official sets.

At least you're thinking, and nothing wrong with suggestions or ideas, just wanted to add my voice while a bunch of non-staff were in favour without perhaps thinking it all the way through. I know I didn't give any constructive criticism about it, but (I think it was) Pep_M covered it. My post was not aimed at anyone really, just some general opinions about some recent points. And by "here" I meant EB, not [necessarily] this thread. Maybe "a lot" is an exaggeration too...

Voting for staff would never work! By invitation (the current method) is the only way I can think of. Don't like the way it's run? Vote with your feet, or take the good with the bad. This is a site for adults, and a lot of people here don't act like them.
