I'd already decided on getting this set + all the other Alien Conquest sets at some time, due to space (no pun intended) limitations I was going to wait but now... we'll just have to have ADU vehicles all over the kitchen bench. I love the 3 part head, that is awesome.

Maybe you could wait for the trucks/trains to cross the Nullarbor, it's not like stock is beamed down straight from the factory, arriving everywhere at once... it goes from Denmark to Sydney first, then from there to the rest of the country (however long that takes). No one gets shafted, the further you are away, the longer you have to wait. THEY WILL TURN UP! -
I forgot all about her!!!

Cecilie's Collectable Minifigures vignettes - series 4
Artanis I replied to Cecilie's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Brilliant vigs yet again! You've really got quite a collection going on there, surely the room won't be wide enough soon! Might have to build upwards more... -

You can't be serious... they won't sell any. I certainly won't touch them, I only went with the $5 because postage would counter getting them cheaper from overseas - no way do I think the minifigs are worth $5. $3, $4 maybe. -

Seeing that old Light & Sound ship in Blacktron colours is pretty cool. The Blacktron minifigs are still my favourite of all space minifigs, and the colour scheme is too awesome. I really like your Heavy Assault Vehicle, but it's just a little too square at the front. Maybe some wedge plates to break it up a bit. Nice work.

Awesome, looks just like it... but does it light up too? The prison pod is just perfect!

x20 Yeah come on guys, no freebies... it's a game of skill + lucky (or clever) timing!

Of course it's a more expensive ship than usual - it's a licensed set!

Challenge: to keep this thread out of the gutter... (Don't know where all that dust came from, the Lego looked clean to me in real life...) Apparently when I was young I used to frequently have "two tars" (cars) in possession - one for each small hand.

edit: I'll keep it on topic... life goes on...

D2C Contest: Attack of the dojo
Artanis I replied to lego-maniac's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Excellent construction, interesting idea. Only problem I have with the modularity (?) is that the build process could be a bit too repetitive. But it looks great, and the ability to have different combinations is a really good added feature for such a set. -

Clones had accelerated growth, maybe the offspring did too... Hutts = giant slugs... with arms & faces... -

All it takes is 1 retailer to discount... and we get a price war. We need an AFOL union... put bans on buying from particular retailers unless they stop the gouging! -
At last, one I guess immediately and noone else has already answered. But alas, I have nothing ready and no time to make anything in the next few days... so... I will leave it for the next person.

Not just us, but pretty much the-rest-of-the-world subsidises the cheaper Lego in USA. The problem created here is that parents buy less Lego for kids, (too expensive) AFOLs import it from USA to save money therefore increasing sales there, reducing sales here, meaning TLG can afford even lower prices there, but need to up the prices here even more to keep making a profit... OR they could increase profit by increasing sales by reducing our prices!!! That's what big business does anyway, surely... -
I do have a question regarding clarification... everything else seems quite clear in the rules but I was wondering, does the vehicle/speeder/ship whatever have to be an existing item from the SW universe or can it be totally up to our imagination? Thanks for the contest, I look forward to seeing the awesome entries!

I like the brick built drawers, the open one with the stuff sticking out of it is clever.

Before upgrading to Firefox 4, I would regularly (almost always) not have the entire page load. Usually this would just mean some or no images would load (and I'd have to one by one reload them) but sometimes only half the page would come up, and I'd have to refresh once or twice. (Still not all images would come up...) Not limited to but primarily experienced on Eurobricks. I have not had this problem in the last 2 weeks or so. A suggestion I have is to make sure you have a clean system & close any P2P software...

And an episode of The Clone Wars... called Deserter if I recall correctly. (Probably not..!) His wife was Twi'lek, and the 2 kids were somewhere in between. Although since this subject has nothing to do with Lego, it should probably be in the general Star Wars topic in the Community section. Last I heard, Lego couldn't reproduce... -
um, no... It's a metallic grid installation, or something... I thought it would be a more interesting set than just plain white.

George G your last 2 were great. Here's one I did a little while ago but forgot to post. I've been out of inspiration for a bit...

good luck with that venture, anyone!

I don't know this anime, but your construction looks excellent! The video has a lot of good work in it too, thanks for sharing! Welcome to Eurobricks!
