Article 165: multiple pricing clickus linkus Note that it's a huge file so it may take awhile to jump from the first page to the linked one. Just wait a bit... -
I definitely found the Star Trek & Mortal Kombat ones the most immediately funny But like a few others, I actually like Jack Sparrow. Johnny Depp's other creepy characters not so much.

Let's share our funny interesting photos!

Complete with cricket bat (& red on you)! -
I noticed the red sticking out the bottom straight away. It's only a big deal if you want to display or take photos. I do think it should be avoided if possible though, a longer hairpiece could've been used (or less protruding faces or separate heads as mentioned). Not a big deal for me (as with pink knights... did I need to go there... ) The ultimate in terrible backface moves by TLG would be a Mace Windu...

Good groans there. I never get the "Obi Wan being really old" thing, he'd be what, 50? 60? How old was he in the PT? He was still an apprentice in Ep1! edit Wookieepedia says he was 57 in Episode 4... wow SO OLD!!
-
You can get civilians in any city set, collectible minifigs etc... You can't get ADU or the aliens anywhere else. Pretty pointless having a civilian in a battle pack, & would've I thought TLG would rather you bought other sets to build up your civilian numbers?

Lucky there isn't a TRU around here then, I might buy it at that price... and I don't need to... -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

Curiously, the diagonally mounted shapes on the front of this model are back-to-front compared with all the other images... edit: the pointy bit is at the back, not front -
Yeah the BBC TV versions were horrid! Budget I suppose, and bad acting. I watched them again a couple of years ago & couldn't stop laughing at how bad they were. The Silver Chair did have Tom Baker in it though. I wish they'd make movies of the 3 books that didn't get made into the TV show, instead of just rehashing what we've already seen. (Rehashing it well, mind you!)

This set is awesome, and this review is very comprehensive! I definitely believe the Striker is the best ship in the SP1 fleet. They all look pretty good though (for late 80s sets that is). Thanks for the review!

Awkward City...

Siegfried that is awesome!

I'll be watching for Mr Parcel Post... I just saw it soon after posting... it was right towards the end of the "new content" I was wading through...
-
I haven't seen a tripod review either, and that was the set that seemed to have the most attention before release. I have a Mothership coming in the mail so if people want I can do a review of it.

You also have to buy specific Blu-Ray playing software, you can't get any free stuff like you can for DVDs. You also need half decent graphics card + display... and if you didn't have to, it's a bit pointless to have high quality source material playing on low quality setup...

Well I don't know, but the guy with the gun is Robert DeNiro, the guy on the left is Al(?) from Home Improvement, & the guy on the right is Chuck Norris...

I would interpret this as meaning "you have to buy at least $5 of women's clothing" ... and that a 20% off toys/Lego (if there was one going) would still happen. If you bought socks (valued >= $5) and a box of Lego, you would get $5 off the total, plus 20% off the Lego price. I believe a % off sale does NOT count as "any other offer" for the discount to be "not in conjunction with". It makes sense to me... -
I previously looked up my number to find that it is not a set. I noticed that a few people are doing the "remove the first/last digit and you get xxx" so I thought I'd try that too. Unfortunately there is still no 10965, nor is there a 965 but 1096 comes up as: So that's something I suppose. Cheap, simple, undesirable, maybe we were made for each other. From 1997, which was when my dark age began. The same set as 6400 & 6406.

Clone Wars clone trooper helmets fit though. Not sure about others, haven't tried anything else.
-
I thought I replied to this before... oh well. Are the mini ships identical - meaning you could connect more than 2 together? Not sure why I'd want to line them all up, but 3 might look cool.
-
Thanks mate, I'm not well versed in US prices yet, only been buying new sets since SP3 came out.
-
Can someone with the info (or better search skills than me - I couldn't find anything in this topic) find the prices for these sets? It would be good if they were added to the first post. *hint* *hint*

So it's just the torso & helmet that are new. Looks good , I'd get one - if I could find A$90 of Star Wars Lego that is already released on S@H. At our prices, that would be a magnet set . Not really worth it (even if I didn't exaggerate ).
