I found the 1st Underworld movie to be fairly interesting, but thought the 2nd was a bit* silly, I didn't even bother with the 3rd. There's a part 4?! A lot of people raved on about how good The Avengers was, I thought it was overrated. Not bad or anything, but I just don't equate expensive special effects with enjoyable movie. Same with the Batman movie, really. Superhero/action movies annoy me, too much unrealistic behaviour (and giant plot holes). Adds excitement, sure, but I just roll my eyes and say "as if". Robert Downey Jr was definitely the highlight of it, the humour involving Tony Stark makes the Iron Man movies enjoyable. *a BIG bit

Yeah, we are NOT expecting any more LOTR sets for another 9 months, if ever. (Probably, but there is no guarantee.) If preliminary pictures are revealed at some toy fest, it will not be until next year. Please stop getting carried away, and making up rumours.

Yeah, love the Saruman, troll & balrog depictions. Not so keen on the fell beast, I'd like to see some more reusable existing pieces included. Keen for this game, and more sets please...

Yeah I just don't have much time & space to do any building, plus the challenges were too hard for me - but I've still been keeping an eye on things here, so count me as practically inactive despite still lurking a bit.

which reminds me, I'm nowhere near WA (like most of us) but for some reason received a sheet of vouchers in the mail a few weeks ago valid only this week & for Balcatta Toyworld. Anyone else get this or ever seen something similar? Pity it's not valid locally, there were some good deals. (eg quitereasonable% off your choice of item, that sort of thing)

NOWHERE near as bad as the 2nd film! Don't think they needed the scene with all the nudity though. I thought they could've featured the Marauders a lot more (with clothes/suits on I mean).

EB Games have LLOTR for preorder in Australia, release is in November. Preorder includes Elrond minifig, prices are: $78 Xbox360 & PS3, $68 Wii & PSVita, $58 3DS, $48 DS & PC. Guess which one I'll be getting... the cheap one that will work on my computer...

...just like Target's 20% off Lego excluding Games, Friends & Ninjago this past week was pointless since they also had 20% off toys not otherwise already reduced, 20% off all Ninjago products (not just Lego) and 20% off all board games. Why not just say 20% off everything?!?

That doesn't sound right, not if you bought from shop.lego.com/en-AU. My S@H purchases were charged in Australian dollars, the exact amount that shows up in the checkout: Aus RRP + the specified postage cost if applicable. Have you bought from S@H before? Contact customer services, that really is strange. There should be no currency conversion, let alone a fee.

Dear wonderful mods etc, I know their reviews are not too hard to find for now, but the Monster Fighters sets haven't been included in the index. Not sure if they have been overlooked or if you were waiting a while first, since they're a new(ish) line.

I finally spied (only) 1 box of Friends Summer Riding Camp at K Mart, $140. Good luck with that set everyone...

K Mart has stocked up big time, Friends horse trailer set is in ($29), but all the other new Friends sets are sold out already! (Still no sight of the riding camp or stable though.) Also have Dino, new Creator & Spider-Man sets. Now at K Mart. $69, down from $79.99 on S@H. They also finally have the Swamp Creature set ($12) but ALL other MF sets are gone gone gone! Must be popular... I suppose there has been a long wait for this line to appear.

Nice parts. Not sure I'd be too keen on the game as memory games aren't fun for me (too easy). It does look a LOT like the Hobbit game. Time will tell if it's still coming or not.

Posted in the LOTR thread: Looks like a good viable option, couldn't quite tell if the postage was flat-rate or not or what the deal was. It looked like it might be pretty low. (But "Free Shipping" is only available to USA, as usual)

Thanks for the heads up! I didn't want to sign up now to put an order through so I'm not entirely certain, but international (AU, NZ & UK) postage appears to possibly be a flat-rate $20. If so, that's quite something!
