    Hopefully the LOTR game is available in shops too (unlike the 5th Heroica game), I'll pick it up during a sale rather than $50 on S@H.

    Only near the bottom of the page where all the included minifigs are shown next to each other. I imagine they just used the same image that they already had from Gandalf Arrives without realising. All the pictures specifically of the set and in the video he has no cape.

    Are you guys serious? It's gonna take forever to build as it is! Haunted House had numbered bags, thank God. Still had to have the parts in piles rather than spread out nicely, something to do with the fact that there were as many as EIGHT bags labelled "2"

    The next big Star Wars set "Ewok Village" will be available on S@H on 1st of September. Price is $360, only $10 more than the B Wing. Considering the US prices, we get a better deal this time around than last. (Ewoks $250 US, B Wing $200)

    Well that sorta makes less nonsense. Or did you mean real movie Bane with his helmet off looks like real movie Darth Vader with his helmet off? Because I just don't see the minifig similarity.

    Is it possible for the first post to be updated? One of the new sets isn't on there (the CW set with Obi Wan undercover) and piece/minifig/price details are available for many but not posted. Thanks guys.

    Nice. I could possibly get those 2 sets at half that price, but then the postage cost would be such that I could get 2 brand new sets locally for a similar price if I found a good sale, and then still have the extra minifigs (which doesn't bother me, they can go to another scene). Both are available for AU, both are $50. I wonder if those 2 games will be unavailable for US just as the SW game was? (Being licenced board games - maybe TLG is not allowed to sell them)

    Not sure if I could choose between those two. Good news though, Star Slicer is finally available on S@H AU. $60? Hmm.

    The Padawan Menace was released in Australia as a rule without the "Ian" minifig, (I don't know where you could get it though,) I imagine it will be the same story this time with Celebration Vader. My guess is that the one you're looking at won't have it, but I could be wrong.

    Thanks for doing this. I'm definitely getting this set, and I like surprises so I only watched the start and very end for now. Interesting comparison with the Troll Warship, I have that set. I wonder if you could edit the colour balance in your video somehow, I think there's (limited) capability for that on YouTube if you don't have the tools. It's a bit yellow. But still a good video, thanks for sharing.

    Also to add to the newly available S@H list: Friends, Chima, Duplo & board games (Chima, LOTR & Batman). AND THE STAR SLICER!!! (Galaxy Squad) Where is my money to throw at the computer screen?!?

    New sets are also available on S@H for Oz. Good. But $100 for the Black Gate is making me rethink buying 2... to start with... Damn, I know it: I'll get 2 eventually.

    20% off toys at Myer for the stocktake sale preview on Tuesday. Starts 5:30pm for most, but all day for WA & Tas. Should be some new stock in time for it? Lone Ranger at least.

    These days I have 0 interest in city sets, but as a kid I was into the police line (including the helicopters). Often when I'm in a shop some nan says "what about this nice truck/boat/helicopter" etc. Pretty sure most of the town stuff I had as a kid was given to me by nans or aunties, the stuff I bought for myself was mostly space, castle or pirates. Back on topic, I recently realised that we got fixed in Galaxy Squad what we complained about in SP3. The alternate faces with oxygen masks mean that airtank pieces aren't necessary. While it was great that year 2 of SP3 gave us closed helmets, I think the current arrangement ticks all the boxes. They can be in space and still breathe, without having to modify the cockpits to fit in airtanks, and saving using that part in new colours (or at all). Another case of TLG listening to the fans

    It's a shame that so many good sets & themes are unavailable after only a year or so, yet that city police helicopter from 2008 is still around...

    It's like a combination of these 2 Kingdoms sets: The latter of which was on shelves for about 3 minutes never to be seen again due to popularity & multi-buy-ability.

    My opinion is that if you don't know what you're talking about you shouldn't really talk about it. Most video reviews reek of people just putting up videos to get views, and all they say is useless, obvious or false/misinformed. ("this is just an awesome set, it's so cool" "you get 3 minifigures" etc) I just don't bother watching (especially listening to) "reviews", most of the time the set speaks for itself. I look at the official photos, the box art and read the discussions on EB prior to purchase if that, they tell you more than a video review ever could.
