  1. Thank you so much! I´d love to be there as well... Sadly enough I´ve got to work... Have fun. I can´t wait to see pictures!
  2. Although I´m very impressed with your MOC´s I don´t think it was a good idea to put them next to the modular buildings. The originals (CC, GG, MP) look too small! Your creations are both: taller (the building to the very left) and wider (the train station). And they are less colorful, which makes them more real. I´m not going to comment what is better, though.
  3. *sigh* exactly my thoghts! Very well done! I´m really looking forward to see pics of the XXXXX secret thing we talked about in Günzburg. Have a good time overseas.
  4. Waiting for more pics? Really??? Well, here you are: Ha! The ping pong table! Nice kitchen as well. ... but where do the firemen sleep? nice use of the door! We haven´t seen this before. The set grows on me. It´ll get a "4 - above average" from me, but no "5 - outstanding".
  5. Wow! Completely unexpected. And yes: Must have!
  6. Where are the pics of the first floor? All in all I´m not as impressed as I thought I would be. Does that really fit in well with the other buildings? But I will be buying in anyway.
  7. Creator Set 20008: Available for Lego Club members only. More info at www.legoshop.com/clubsets 5,99€, available now via Lego direct.
  8. I found new pictures of the upcoming games in the german "Lego Club Magazine": this was just a quick scan, but I think everything important is to be seen. Promising!
  9. Exactly. The distance is 2 3/4 jelly rats. (For me. For others it may be 4 1/2 jelly rats )
  10. For me it's pretty much the same as KimT already pointed out: My lovely wife is fine with me buying more and more Lego, the only thing is space. Although I´m in the comfortable situation to call a complete house my own, we´re running out of (Lego)-space. It´s a 100 year old house, so the ceilings are high and the rooms are few. Still it´s a very nice house. I´m currently working on a Lego dedicated room, but it´s a longer way to get there with a lot stuff being moved from one place to another. I recall my wife saying: Well, isn´t it good now? Don´t buy any more Lego. This was 2 years ago I think. I have a bigger MOC on constant display in my home town and even was interviewed in a local newspaper. Maybe this changed her mind. I´ve never heard anything again. Some weeks ago I managed to buy the complete Lego collection from a colleague. Then 4 huuuge boxes crowded our "working room". She never said a word. Still I´m impressed about that. That´s one impression I can second. And I´m amazed about it. Maybe the people who think we´re absolutely crazy are too polite to say it. When we married, I was still in my dark ages. What a surprise when she realized...
  11. Is this a wishing well? Then I´d like a chrome Holodoc!
  12. This is an excellent MOC, takuto! And the other stuff in his folder is also very impressive. The flower shop: *click to enlarge* A detail of the toy shop: I surely would like some modular buildings like these, but haven´t we heard, that the 3rd building will be a fire station?
  13. May I say this really rocks? Another great MOC where I don´t know what to start with. All those details: The small balcony, the bell "tower", the main gate... (and the use of Star Wars material) Yet again, I´m speechless. I thought of printing one of your photos and sticking it to my wall. The only thing is: The round towers don´t fit to the clear and seemless other walls. I have no idea though, how to improve it. Thank you very much for your inspiration! Absolutely stunning!
  14. Although I´m not him: It´s part 2907 "Technic Ball with Grooves" I wonder though, how he fixed them to the feet. As can be seen in his BS-folder:
  15. I say: Frontpage it!
  16. I´m in love! Thank you so much, Cpt. Kirk! I agree. Thank you all for your help. I really appreciate it. If these decals ever go into production... ...could I buy a couple of these?
  17. WOW! This is really cool - I´ve never seen anything like this: The houses and the market place are very nice, but the ship beats all! Your cog is awesome. How you made the brick built sail... I´m speechless. Absolutely brilliant. For those who haven´t had a look at his BS-folder: Watch out for the minifigs. The "medieval" trousers are another ingenious way of building.
  18. Very well done! ...why did you make two lines of torsos? Now continue with Voyager please!
  19. Have you started to collect sand green roof bricks yet? I´d love to see that fire station finished in Lego!
  20. Wait till I meet my swedish speaking friend. I´ll ask him how to curse you in swedish. (I don´t have to come back to the missing 1x1 round plate for the small tractor, do I?) Holodoc official representative of the EAHO.
  21. Very, very cool Brickbox! The detailed interior and the equipment is outstanding! Two little things though: - the front is white? I´ve never seen any (german) fire engine with a white front. - I think the engine is too wide for it´s length. The proportions don´t seem to be right. Thank you for sharing the pics.
  22. If this isn´t enough send me a PM. I never tried making decals, but it shouldn´t be a problem giving you the "layout" for it. Thank you very much for your interest so far.
  23. Yep, you´ll get the older controller for free and the new one whenever it is available. You won´t have to return the controller.
  24. Wow - they chose my picture. I don´t know what you´re talking about.
  25. I ordered the PF collection and received a mail some days ago, that the speed controller is out of stock (problems?) till august. They are going to ship the old IR-controller instead to have the train motorized at least. It is an on/off control though, you cannot in- or decrease the speed of the train with it. I guess this is the reason for the vanished set: They don´t want to have more orders on a set they can´t ship.
