Hehe - see my BS-folder for that. It´s 11 days, about 272 hours, two times working overnight in hospital, one time emergency physician, three birthdays (brother, mother-in-law, and a schoolmate), and one celebration (my boss). Am I exited? YES! ... boy , my car will be fully loaded!

This is a special offer for all eventees: I have (limited) access to plastic boxes with the following dimensions length - 32 cm width - 27 cm height - 15 cm these boxes have a "lip" at the upper side (1cm) and unfortunately no cover. Sterile surgery stuff (endoprosthesis [plural for that? ]) is delivered in these boxes, they are used for transportation only and are therefore absolutely clean. Normally they are thrown away, but I have a better solution: I use them to store my lego! Maybe some of you have use for those boxes, too. I have access to ca. 15 of them until the event. They are for free, of course. Just drop me a line here, if it´s interesting and I´ll take them to Günzburg.

Classic Star Trek decals (Torso) - Update 6 sept '09
Holodoc replied to Capt. Kirk's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Very well done Capt. Kirk! I used to wear these uniforms when I was a younger hologram... ... or is this just a memory error? -
You´re getting slow on your old days, my friend. Beat you to it by almost three weeks! (at least about the information about the store in Frankfurt)

Wanted, ltd ed 10th star wars lego minifig poster
Holodoc replied to stan's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Sorry to hijack this thread, but can anyone tell me how big actually this poster is? (metric measures would be nice... ) -
I didn´t read anything about the release dates. Does anyone have information for Europe?
-
Yes. And TRU doesn´t have the Shanghai chase yet.

It´s time to warm up, mates! Here´s a small building competition to channelise the upcoming heat about the event into the right direction! The theme: Build a typical scene of your country. The size is not important (vignette/bignette). Clichés and stereotypes are very welcome! The rules: 1) The scene must contain your country flag! Size irrelevant. 2) The scene must contain your avatar (if you don´t have any - shame on you! - take any other minifig) 3) There will be no prices/awards, whatsoever - just the glory to have your country represented here. Hey - it´s a fun thing! 4) This is intended to be an eventee building contest, but if any other members are willing to join us (is any other member reading the event topics anyway? ), be our guest! 5) Start building and have fun! Ikea/baguette/chips and chocolate ON! I´ll start with my country! (What did you think? I finished it before opening this thread, of course) The complete folder

I´m interested in the fleshy hands. I´ll bring a bag of minifig parts as well, then we can see what to trade.
-
Yep! You have to buy one or more sets worth >25€, then you´ll receive the CDV for free. Naaaw - you don´t want me to go there again, do you? The DV´s were really limited yesterday, I don´t think they will last any longer than today.
-
Happy birthday, old pal ! I wished you´d join us in two weeks. Have a great day - may it be filled with a lot MISB sets.
-
Thanks for another review, svelte! This is definitely on my buy-list. If not for the minifigs then for the parts. The only thing is: What to do with another Indy? Well, I don´t care too much about this, the bricks included are a very good selection of rare parts in rare colors. Good to know that it´s one of the cheaper sets this year. 10/10 - no doubt about that!

Extras 2009 event Günzburg - ideas needed
Holodoc replied to CopMike's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
I know something you don´t know... But I´m still exited also. 16 days... -
The offer lasts to 9th of may only, BUT I hardly believe they will still have some DV´s at that time any more. At least my local TRU´s aren´t selling any more DV´s seperately (to me). Maybe some other german members are more successfull in their area.

You forgot the keychain! But to get back on topic: The Millenium Falcon came in such a great variety, I chose to collect all types. I´m not a big SW fan you know, but here´s the chance to get the one original in 5 different sizes (keychain, mini, midi, minifig-size (so only the 4504 is needed, not the 7190:tongue:) and the UCS). That´s what I call really cool. (I still need to get the 4504 though...) Just to complete the gallery of Falcons: 4488 852113

Great review, Brickster! I, or better we own one copy of this set when I started to buy rolling stock and all that belongs to it for my son, Christmas 2003. One of the best train crossings I have seen from Lego (besides the 12V "remote" controlled ones, but that is another story). One of my favourites from that time: 7033 Armoured Car Action 6 wide, design shows the future for that time: it looks like all the 6-wide cars coming after 2003 and includes 3 (!) chrome gold tiles! (Ok, it´s got a weird opening mechanism, but that survived even into 2009 )

It looks like the 4954 is inspiring more and more people. Great work, ISC! Look what I did here. [shameless auto promotion OFF] A fellow fan of tan. I like that expression.

Anyone you have in mind? One more reason to join in in our events. (OK, next year ) I received a big parcel today. The contents: 16 (!) 7643 bought exactly from that place mentioned above, the TUI-Internet shop. The price: 16€ each of course. You lucky guys coming to Günzburg! We´re going to have a lot fun building a big airshow then.

There have been ebay auctions selling just the cars at ebay.de. (That´s how I got my cars ) You can check it, if someone does the same in the U.S., too.

I found another BS-folder with more pics of the Wind Turbine Transport. For example those: Now I´d like to have a set with the windmill only and the new yellow bus!
-
This is my top priority set at the moment. Thank you so much for the review, sc! If only the bus would be sold by itself... Anyone who has information about the availability in Germany? ...must have...

Sorry, mate - you´re too late. But maybe DJ Force is willing to share/split his copy (see post above).
