  1. And at S@H they´re selling it for 99,99€! What´s the point?
  2. Hi 9-11! Welcome to Eurobricks! If I ever have enough time I´ll see what I can do for you. ...could be in two years, though.
  3. 3: On behalf of Unique Builder: "But your mama had some second thoughts again" (Statler Brothers)
  4. 4: "at the end of the tunnel there´s a light" (Starlight Express)
  5. Okay, okay. I didn´t do much MOCing the last weeks/months, but there´s one "building" I will bring to the event. It uses this part: ... and I´m not going to tell more. Wait and see.
  6. Hey guys! For a special MOC I need some bricks, which are not easy to find. (I placed 6 BL orders already, but none of the shops had them in stock) That´s what I´m looking for: 2 x 3958 (plate 6x6) white: and 4 x 32065 (technic beam 7 x 0.5) light bluish gray (can be dark bl. gray also) If someone owns these parts and is willing to sell - well, you now where to find me the upcoming week.
  7. And I thought: "Who is this guy replying in this thread?" Thank you so much, Matija! ... and still 6 days to go...
  8. Great MOC´s - I´m impressed! But what made me really lough was the inspection day. Thanks for making my day!
  9. Happy birthday Christian! Needless to say I second Ras opinion.
  10. Ever thought of browsing the Forum "subfolder" you posted this in? It will explain everything. In short: It´s the best days of the year where AFOLs meet up in a Legoland to have competitions, excitement, tons of Lego bricks -> pure fun!
  11. What do you like to add the set to? If you´re planning to build something modular and big, you should choose Green Grocer. If you´re having a small town layout, Town Plan would be a nice addition and if you´re into trains, the Emerald Night is a "must buy". It all depends on money, too: Town Plan is at 105€ (amazon.de), Green Grocer will cost you ~50€ more and the most expensive set in that triangle is the EN with PF (around 190€).
  12. Wow - this topic started when I didn´t even think of Lego related internet. I chose the Super Chief, but "just" because of the fantastic cars you get with set 10022 and 10025. The BNSF only comes with the loco, in my opnion it would have outrun the Santa Fe if it had come with cars as well. The colors are so much better on the BNSF than the Santa Fe, whose cars are grey, very grey. The way I got to my Santa Fe was, when I browsed a local toy store. They had three 10020 SF locos and a couple of 10025 cars waiting on the shelves to get bought. I couldn´t resist - they still were at the old price tag: 39,99€! At bricklink I bought all the missing bricks to build the 10022 cars from the 10025 ones. This was the first and (propably) last time I bought in the U.S. This particular parcel got stuck at customs. It finally went all perfectly but that were some sleepless nights...
  13. I recently got some 12V track, an engine (7745) and remote controlled gates (7866). The only thing I´m missing is that dammit piece of track that combines the tracks with the power source. For this one piece, you´ll pay 5€ at least. Then I browsed ebay for other remote controlled lights, decouplings and switches. Man these ARE expensive! For this reason alone I´d suggest to switch to 9V (better reliability) and if you still can afford it, add the remote stuff to it. You´ll get the best of two worlds. Or maybe, maybe we´ll see some remote thingies in the future with the new PF elements. Not all channels are used with the new remote control right now... Who knows?
  14. I´ll bring whatever I get hold of and then we´ll see.
  15. For the first time I´m really glad you don´t own my Avatar. Great MOC!
  16. I was one of the few with the train signature, now I´ve removed it for the last days until our event. Right in time for this topic. You could have seen what I combined the last years. No. Normally I tend to have seperate rolling stock: One for freight trains and one for passenger trains. I used to have shown a bigger layout in june last year. The freight section with 3 locomotives (4512 / 10205 / and a hobby train loco) and 4 different types of freight cars (4512 / one 10016, 3x 10017 and a self build car from hobby train). Some photos are here: Two engine sheds with the trains and cars. The older 10205 in blue (I have seperate green bricks as well - and recently changed the color back to green)with the tanker. The passenger trains. One self built loco (one of the 30 models from hobby train) with two passenger cars MOCs. The original Santa Fe with self built dome car and B-unit. I will never add any other cars to this beautiful train. Same counts for the Emerald Night (right now). I didn´t have the BNSF at that time. I don´t know what to combine with that loco, but I expect it to pull freight as well. This year there will be another layout (bigger, better), including a new 12V circle I recently got with the 7745 high speed train and one or two monorail engines.
  17. What kind of car will you be travelling with? ?? Shhhh - you can stack the boxes..
  18. Thank you so much, the information came at the right time!
  19. Your beachvolleyball accident seems to have hurt your head as well... Ever tried my nickname with Brickshelf? But you have already seen the photo I was thinking about. Definitely no more from me.
