  1. They're fetching that price on eBay now... ;-)
  2. "You think there's life in Outer Space?" "There's certainly none in this theatre." :-D
  3. Go UK! There was only really one picture I could use to sum up the UK, deciding against another cultural delight that everyone else seems to be identifying ;-) : Although the sun is actually out at the moment.
  4. Is the gun a part of the arm? As in, can you not just take it off and store it separately? Your image isn't working, btw. I saw this earlier in the week. Looks nice, but why is his head sticking out of the front of the tank in vehicle mode?
  5. It sort of sputtered, didn't it? Perhaps. But whether they did or not, I think we should definitely get more Batmobiles. I mean, Batman has a ton of them. There's one fabulous splash page in Hush pt. 8 (I think) where Batman and Nightwing have to chose a Batmobile, and there's loads, all from different eras. You could make each one completely different so as to keep interest, and have different villains/allies in the sets. Maybe some could be two-seaters. I'd also like to see a Batcycle, a bike for Robin, a Batplane. We've had a Batwing, but not a Batplane. The Batplane can take passengers. You could choose from some great Batmobiles, and some of the Elseworlds ones could be done too. For example, the DKR Batmobile >:-) ! The Creeper isn't really a baddie, but yeah, it'd be good to see him. Actually, I'd rather see Babs as Oracle than Batgirl. If we were going to see Batgirl I'd prefer it to be Cassandra Cain. Yes, I know she's leading the League of Assassins now. There's also Robin's new costume to do. I think Nighting before Batgirl was the right choice. Nightwing was around first, albeit as Robin. How could you do Clayface? With a lot of brown... Man-Bat, Mad Hatter and Ventriloquist/Scarface would be great, as would Ras. As for obscure characters, it'd depend how obscure they were. Anarky might work, but would KGBeast (I'd have a KGBeast)? I suppose Black Mask is a bit obscure, but I'd like one. How about Red Hood. In fact, you could do Birds of Prey. Have Oracle, Huntress (new costume, with a bike) and Black Canary ( *wub* ), in Oracle's clocktower. I think the original quote was "all available mediums in which Batman appears." So, technically, that could be other DC stuff. If not, I'd imagine it'd be easy to make it so it was. I'd love more DC characters. Superman, Wonder Woman (given her... relationship with Batman), Green Lantern, Flash, Martian Manhunter, etc. The Watchtower must be a lonely place for Bats right now. Heck, even people like Zatanna, Green Arrow, Barda, Power Girl and Steel are must-haves. Especially Zatanna *wub* And, of course, there's the game coming out next year. We should've expected at least a few sets to come out in conjunction, perhaps with new figs of characters from the game.
  6. 12 if you count the ones on the sides (on the arch-things) ;-) . This is very nice. Another great addition to your back-story, but it'd still work without. The overall design is simple as it probably would be for a utilitarian mining vehicle, but it isn't ugly. Does the storage comartment open? If so, what's it's capacity?
  7. Went to see Die Hard 4.0 today with my dad. Both of us enjoyed it. Sure, the first one is still the best, but it was great for explosions. And Bruce Willis traded the ol' vest for a shirt-thing. Obviously old-age doesn't do vests ;-) . But, anyway, there were some really good action sequences, and there were a few laughs from people in the cinema. And it was better than being rained on. Oh, and I had a geek-y moment in identifying the figure statuettes scattered throughout the hackers' houses. I saw Vision (Marvel Comics), Obi-Wan Kenobi, possible Giant-Man but I couldn't quite tell, and the one McClane broke might've been Spawn, but I'm not sure. And there was obviously the Boba Fett cut-out standee.
  8. So much for "you ruined my childhood" and "I hate Michael Bay", eh? Ha ha, look at this: :-D
  9. Well, actually, you say that, but a while back DC did a 'Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating...' series, where Stan Lee of Marvel rewrote key DC characters as if they were Marvel. Batman was a real bat, that sort of thing.
  10. Did some shopping at Tesco today. It's not brilliant, but 8733 Axonn is marked as 'reduced to clear' at
  11. Yeah, I do that a lot... Not really. It's just not my thing. But it's funny, a lot of my friends do like it, and have long-ish hair, but mine's longer. And they've been growing it for longer! I actually had my hair cut a bit this morning. Nothing drastic, it's still long. But it's a couple of inches shorther, more like shoulder-length.
  12. It's not really hailed here yet, but for weeks the UK has been rained on endlessly. We weren't flooded, thank God, but lot's of parts of the country have been, as I'm sure you've heard. And it's supposed to be Summer. Then suddenly this afternoon, the sun came out! I came out of the pictures, and was nearly blinded...
  13. Actually, so do I. As I said earlier, same here. I'm never actually building anything, usually it's just in the background. But, I must be thinking about it just enough to invent sets, as I just said. With 2 Gunships and an AT-TE, that's probably a good thing!
  14. V-LV-12D Now, see if you can spot the sarcasm in this entry... I thought 'what extras are always used in 'pimped' cars.' I came up with massive exhausts, ridiculous stereo, TV and neon light bar. And chrome, of course. So, without further ado, I present the Chav-mobile! Notice the 'boom-tastic' stereo system ;-) . The exhaust can also be re-jigged as smokestacks, for that extra je ne sais quoi. And the neon light. All 3 of them. Stereotype On!
  15. Certainly, I offered didn't I. Okay, my entry's up. If Optimax is out there, I hope he doesn't mind.
  16. Okay here's mine. I'm sure we all remember Optimax X. Then he went and got himself banned for whatever reason. Well, there must've been a reason, and since we were friends, here's me giving him a whack with my trusty Sonic Screwdriver (Whovians rejoice!). Yep, that's me, the king of understatement. I don't know whether or not he had a sig, so I used a sheep. I'm sure you can remember why. You see, my entry even has a message. ;-) Gallery Bonus sheep gallery
  17. Perfectly. That's what I meant, banned members. Thanks. :-)
  18. Considering that the Decepticons were supposed to be prepared, trained and versed in the art of war, they weren't very good. Then again, neither were the Autobots, so it kind of evened itself out. Still, I loved the G1 cartoon, at least from the episdoes I've seen. I picked up these two videos for about
  19. Just to throw sense and seriousness out the window for a moment: http://www.seibertron.com/news/view.php?id=11051 8-|
  20. Entered. Actually, I put it up earlier this morning, but forgot to say here. And yes, I did cheat a bit with the wall. :-$
  21. Question: Are we allowed to whack members who aren't here anymore? Because I know we can't ask their permission, but they're not around to know that we haven't. Oh, and feel free to whack me: Actually, that's not a very good photo. The torso is this, but feel free to use another suitable one (within reason). I do change my clothes, after all. ;-)
