The Man Who Laughs is very good, I enjoyed it when I read it. The trade comes with a bonus story doesn't it, to fill space? I seem to remember it guest stars Alan Scott. Oh yes, of course. I think I may have come across that. I don't know, I quite like Morrison. I guess at the very least, his writing surprises just because it can be so weird sometimes. I mean, he's had himself in Animal Man as a guest-star. Plus, he's a Brit, so there's a little bias. But I agree with you about Miller. Okay, now look again at what you wrote when you posted the link. Then look at what I wrote. Look very carefully, and you should see what I've done...

I loved it when I read it. I've got Infiltration, Escalation, Spotlights Vol.1 and Megatron: Origin so far. Spotlights Vol.2 is out, and I think Devastation is out soon as well. Can't wait to get them.

It took me a minute to realise what you'd done there... must be tired. Exactly. We're not going to get a new suit for just one set are we? This is TLC we're talking about... No, but The Penguin did. Oh God, he's stupid. But it's only because I think Superman/Batman:Vengeance is without a doubt one of the best comics I have ever read. Oh well, you know very well my feelings on that front (innuendo not intentional).

That's what threw me. I couldn't remember if it was Two-Face or good old Joe Coyne. But it appears it's both, either and perhaps even neither...
-
Yeah, I guess. I don't know if there'd be enough room left for the outer hubcap, but could you put a spacer of some sort between the wheel and the technic piece the axle is joined to? That would stop the wheels getting stuck wouldn't it?

Right now? Queen's 'Killer Queen'. Nice

MOC: Agents Seabase of Dr. Inferno
Brainbox replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Hey, I remember that! Must be an evil megalomaniac thing. -
The Redbird. Oh, I'd love to see that! Of course, to make sure she didn't get caught, Catwoman would have to make sure she didn'tend up cat-napping... I've got an idea. A Harley and Ivy set. I bet the AFOLs would pay to see that.

Interesting. I ask as I'll be making my mammoth Batcave soon, and I need a way of making a giant penny. I don't think it'd look that good brick-built, and I don't think I have any coins big enough to be suitable bigger than a minifig. And I admit, I did have to look up the Penny Plunderer, but the rest was done from memory.

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...
Brainbox replied to The Kid's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Wait... it's not real? But in the case of the Cybermen from The Tenth Planet, it was more a case of 'a sock and a massive torch' than 'tin foil'. -
Argos.co.uk has a couple of deals going on TFs: Movie Deluxes at £4.99 Alt Wheeljack at £7.39 Leader Megs is also £10 off, and the Screen Battles are half price at £10. Hmm... I might see if Wheeljack is in store as well as online. £7.39 isn't half bad (no, it's 36.95% actually ). No sign of TFA toys on either Woolies or TRU websites though.

Plus, the paperbacks are coming out soon, so if money is a problem... yeah, I'd rather have hardcovers as well. Sounds... yeah. Perhaps. But you have to admit, we've got some of the best writers working in comics now that we've ever had. Oh, now you're just fishing for compliments. Why don't you just go about some product plaicement while you're at it. That's a pretty nice clip. It shows loads, without anything actually being seen. The guys face when he sees Dent... says it all.

Radio Times seems to be going with the 'What if Donna had never travelled with the Doctor?' angle. I don't know if this menas The Runaway Bride never happened or not, but that means that at least Series 4 (and possibly bits of Series 3) will be rewritten. I'm assuming it has either something to do with the breakdown of realities, as you say, or the thing on her back. To be honest though, Davros was the one character that couldn't change visually. A different look, and he just wouldn't be Davros. Exactly. If you look at how, over the 45 years of the programme, the Daleks, Cybermen and Sontarans have changed, it's actually very little. The Daleks have barely changed at all, neither have the Sontarans. The Cyber men have, but it fits the character, and they've kept many aspects through all the versions. The basic premise of each returning monster has always been the same as well. The Daleks still have the same motives they did way back in 1963/4. And that's good. Or, as the Cyberleader might say: "Excellent." -
Yeah... but I'm at college, so I finish in 2 days. And half my lessons have been cancelled on Friday anyway!

Oh, don't we all have times like that. No, I-- Oh, very nice! Good luck in the contest, btw.

MOC: Agents Seabase of Dr. Inferno
Brainbox replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The Hairbase? Does it have a haircraft hanger as well, where he keeps all his hairoplanes. This is superb Svelte-corps. I browsed through this earlier on BS, and I have to say I somehow missed the hair design of the tower. No idea ho, but I did. It's OTT in just the right way, and fits in with the rest of the Agents line well. And it's always nice to see someone present a MOC in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek way. Nice work. -
It doesn't really have a defined design, but it tends to be a bit bulkier than a normal Batsuit, with some sort of parka-like top half. The suit may even be white, to allow for snow camouflage, but isn't always.
-
These are fantastic. Good level of detail, cool overall design, and a minifig fits inside. I like the landing gear, btw. Dare I even say 'cute'?
-
Ah yes, of course. It said 'conflict solver' didn't it? Not a very Decepticon thing to do... unless you count killing everything that is.

It's a trophy from a past case, where Batman fought coin-obsessed villain The Penny Plunderer. Other Batcave trophies include a robotic T-Rex from Dinosaur Island and an oversized Joker card, along with several smaller items such as costumes and weapons. Anyway, nice work MikeF. There's a nice variety of Batcave areas here, I really like the costume vault, and the new Bat-vehicles are pretty nice as well, especially the Batski. On question: How did you do the penny?
-
Huh... stuff 'perhaps'. We want more, MORE! Like Batbrick said, some more variant Batsuits would be nice. Maybe a parachute suit (now that would be sweet) and a cold weather suit. He needs his thermals against Mr Freeze after all. Oh, and a 60s suit, complete with blue/pruple two-tone and drawn-on eyebrows... Lots more new villains. All the classics, like Mad Hatter, Ra's and Clayface. Oh, and what do you mean 'BTAS Clock King, TP, lets get 60s series Temple Fugate! More heroes as well, especially Oracle and Gordon. Might it be too much to ask for Bat-mite as well? And of course more Bat-vehicles. Of course, there's nothing stopping TLC giving us new versions of vehicles we already have. A new Batwing/Batplane, a new Batmobile (or several), a new Batboat, etc.

I haven't got any of them yet...

My mum told me yesterday that David Troughton has worked with Peter Davison before as well, then what with Georgia Moffett in this series... it's a small Universe. -
Hey, how could I miss out on this? It's beautiful. Yeah, I've just noticed that. No idea what happened there . I'll have to look more closely "nexst" time.

New lego batman screens and video of clayface, bane, and nightwing
Brainbox replied to boxcar3's topic in LEGO Licensed
Exactly what I did! Only to look up the name of the female version though... and to check the spelling of 'Pieter'. What? It's not cheating, it's intuitive research.
