If I could get another cheap Nightwing torso, I'd definitely be building that Batman. I'd ditch the cape altogether, though, and if you want the wings I'd use the black Man-Bat arms. The gray legs will make a nice alternate to her fishnets that I've been trying to find. I suggest using the magician's torso from the CMF series. I've got an okay Raven that I made with the Kimono Girl (CMF)'s head, a black hood, Palpatine's robe (there's a far better one out there, I'm sure, but that's just what I had) black legs, white hands, and a cape.

I'd like them to release a version with less anime-esque hair. Something less drastic.

Yes, I very very much want him. I worded that weird, though, sorry. My Martian Manhunter should be in today, too. I'll have to wait a bit longer on Damian and Batgirl, though. I think LEGO might have something pretty awesome planned for GL, which is why we haven't seen him just yet. Either that or it's the market's Green Lantern phobia. DC just put out a new line of action figures of the whole Justice League in their New 52 costumes. The only missing members were Wonder Woman (because apparently boys hate girls and have no use for them *eyeroll*), Cyborg (the only racial diversity whatsoever was somehow excluded??), and Green Lantern. Apparently that phobia is still pretty strong. I hope we get Sinestro, though, with the hairpiece he had in the Batman 2 game. Then maybe we could get Beast Boy, or who knows who else. Those pointy ears would make things so much better.

I've GOT to get more Men of Steel now. Those look great! But that also means getting that Ninjago set with the cyborg hair, and a robot leg. Beautiful work, though!

So according to Batman vs. Superman's lead costume designer, we may be getting some pics of the new suits in a few weeks. That is unless he was talking about some other photoshoot, in which case I'll be sad. I finally saw the LEGO Movie last night, too, which was amazing. I still really want that Batmobile. The Spider-Man sets are understandably lower in popularity, in part due to the crappy builds and same Spidey, but I'd say also a bit at the fault of the PR teams at Marvel. Captain America 2, which doesn't come out for another month, is already making a big splash in the media, which seems to have blown Spider-Man out of the water. I'm getting the Spider-Trike for that Electro figure, and maybe the Doc-Ock truck eventually, but that Spider Copter is very unlikely. For once I'd much rather just buy the figs instead of the whole set. I'll pass on Goblin for now. If only one of these Spider-Men (Spider-Mans?) was superior to those before it... Or Miles Morales, please can we not have a Miles Morales??? More than anything I just want these guys out there as a promise that they won't be Comic Con exclusives, honestly.

I don't think they're uninteresting so much as they are under developed. I'd be far more interested in Professor Pyg and Mr. Toad if I had any idea what their deal was. So he's an animal rights activist gone crazy in a pig mask, but his sidekick is a mutant frog with Black Canary screams? A little more background would've done wonders, and I'm sure we would've gotten more if the show lasted longer than one season. I think Brave and the Bold handled the non-mainstream characters far better ("Ambush Bug? That's obscure even for this show!") I think they could've done far better with more time. It's odd though, I think the one thing that disappoints me more than the show getting cancelled is that they never really had any toys. The one thing you never have to worry about when making a Batman show is how you'll make the toys, and his gadgets from the show looked so cool that I was ready to buy them from the first episode. Alas, all we have his one action figure and a minifigure stuck into a set he didn't belong in. *sigh* (seriously though, couldn't they have done a straight-up a tie-in and give us the Batmobile from the Riddler Chase with Pyg and Toad's car? Those guys would've been cool to get. Flash and Riddler could've gone to another set. I'd like to see a set with Flash and Superman in a race honestly) I really want to see more of Booster Gold and Ted Kord together. I'd definitely watch a show that's just about those two. I'd especially love to see a set with those two together! My Justice League won't be complete without them. Still a valid point. Neither one has been that popular, but after Brave and the Bold (probably something before that, actually, but that was when I was introduced) he got more and more popular. Wasn't he going to have a live-action series of shorts on DC Nation?

That would be great if I had some legs with the proper boots or a torso with the logo on it. Otherwise he's pretty boring visually.

That's pretty great! That staff works much better than the one I've been using. Guess this means I'll have to get another new Captain America. :/ I think for the time being I'll be sticking with my current head-hair combo of Hermione head and blonde mermaid hair, though. If I run across that hair I'll replace it, but I prefer this head. I got a Lone Ranger figure specifically for the masked head, because there're so few different masked heads and I knew I could do something with that. Apparently I can't. Anybody have any DC ideas for that? I'm trying to flesh out my Justice League a bit, so I wanna stay on the DC end of things.

Not in New York City traffic! I'm pretty sure Spidey's got the best mode of transportation on his wrists there, other than the fact that running out of web-fluid means falling to your death in most cases. Then again, the same goes for a helicopter. I think the Spider-Bike is the epitome of Spider-transport. It's small to potentially slip through land traffic, plus it can fly, plus it looks pretty cool. That bike should've been the cut-off point for Spider-Man themed vehicles.

I think that it's the fact that you can't put black on black. It's the same case for the Dark Knight Batman figs. The cartoon wasn't "failed" when this set happened (and frankly I don't feel it was failed at any point, contrary to Cartoon Network's ridiculous expectations that two episodes of any show should be shitting out Adventure Time money) Either way, it's cancelled now with one final episode on DVD that will never see the light of broadcast television, simply because Cartoon Network would rather glorify their abomination known as Teen Titans Go than let a show finish off with some respect, or even more so find its audience. (Tell me any TV show was best and wildly successful in its first season, really.) (Well, besides Legend of Korra so far.)

Oh no, if you've seen the New 52 Batsuit and the Beware the Batman Batsuit, there's no question that they're different. That is beyond a shadow of a doubt a Beware the Batman tie-in. Honestly, I'd rather not (for the most part) have him with any kind of handheld single part in trans-green. I want something big and brick-built. Heck, I'd love to have just a little box of various trans-green parts to build cool stuff with for Green Lantern! I like the kinda thing they did in Lego Batman 2, where he was making trains and ramming them into people or smashing giant fists on them or using giant baseball bats and stuff. Really big, fun things you could only really do if you had a ring that let you make anything by thinking about it.

It's odd that he didn't he label them. That first one seems like it might be Spidey-foe Shocker. As for the blonde girl, I'm not sure. I'm not as well-versed in Marvel as I'd like to be.

I'm pretty disappointed that Thor 2 didn't get a set, although it didn't really lend itself to toys very well (everything was either very big or very barren). However, I'm even more disappointed by the lack of Winter Soldier sets, mostly because I love Captain America. I'm certainly hoping we get the Winter Soldier somehow soon, given he's extremely easy to make without new parts. It is going to to be a different Ant-Man, though. It's hard for Hank Pym to be without Wasp, given she's sort of his motivator to be a hero and not just a scientist, but as for Scott Lang? He could go either way. However I too will be very disappointed if we don't see a Wasp figure at some point in the near future.

I have to say, Storm should've either had anew custom hairpiece that fit her iconic look, or the mohawk. That hair really makes her look generic and boring honestly. Sadly they don't make enough solid white hair for us to fix that for ourselves somehow. That Batman one was neat! Although seeing old Alfred made me a little sad that they haven't made a new Alfred. The Iron Man one was cute. I was really hoping that Superman's phone booth would turn out to look like a TARDIS, but oh well. (speaking of which, that Doctor Who project on Cuusoo sure sprung up quick. I guess Whovians are a little more dedicated to these things than comic book fans, for the most part. Or maybe there're just more Whovians. Who knows.)

I agree for the most part. Mostly I want another Catwoman to replace the one whose parts I've pimped out to my purist Wildcat and Maria Hill I like the mask a bit, but mostly for other characters, like Wildcat or Tomcat. I'm a little disappointed we didn't get a Nolan Catwoman, too. Maybe another, smaller Rises set with her on the Batpod with Batman fighting Bane or some of his guys. But that probably won't be happening ever, now. I'd like a more Arkham-esque headpiece, where it's a mixture of the traditional mask with a pilot's cap.

I don't think so. Maybe. They don't fall under my personal definition of superhero, but that doesn't apply here. Any admin like to answer that?

I really like the new Riddler, actually. I didn't mention Ivy because she was in the Arkham set, but I would love to see an Ivy variant based on her Arkham City appearance. The green-on-red worked really well. Same with Catwoman, I'd prefer the Arkham-style pilots cap with goggles and cat ears. I think that the smaller set she was in went out quite a bit ago. I could very well be wrong, though. Still, she is a pretty iconic Bat-villain, more so than Penguin.

Speaking of Catwoman, am I the only one bothered by the fact that she hasn't shown up again by now? I'm pretty sure that her, Lex, and Two-Face are the only wave 1 villains who haven't been reissued yet, and I'd actually like to get another Catwoman. Her parts are so useful for other people, plus she's a cool character who could use a neat new variant of some sort.

I think the closest thing we had to a picture was something in the background of a LEGO Movie behind-the-scenes video.

No, his tv outfit isn't nearly as colorful and interesting. I'm fairly certain that's just New 52 Green Arrow.

I used to do that, but I had to get an iTunes card every week for that. It didn't work out. I think the yellow/black combo worked well from what I saw, and doesn't the more recent versions of that suit replace the purples and blues with black? Falcon is a really cool fig I'll have to get two of. I've already got some purist custom ideas with some of his parts involved. MODOK could've been done better, though I'm certainly not against a MODOK fig. I've never really gotten to know Taskmaster well enough to be interested in him. The X-Men set is a definite buy thanks to Storm and Wolvie's cowl. The Steamroller set is at the very top of my list, because Damian and Batgirl are two figs that I refuse to live without. Well, that Batgirl is the most well-known. Stephanie Brown isn't nearly as famous, and with the pieces in production, we'll always have that as an option down the line. And, since LEGO recognizes literally NO timeline at all, Oracle is still an option, just like how Tim Drake and Damian Wayne are both Robin, as well as Dick Grayson existing as both Nightwing and the Juniors Robin. I have to say, that new Batman, Batmobile, and Riddler are the best ones yet. Of course the Batmobile isn't as iconic in design as the old one... Okay, um no. Oracle kicks so much megablocks that the stock in butt casts increased tenfold immediately after she was shot in the spine. She's like Batman mixed with Black Widow, and does it all without ever standing up. Also, there is no "real" Batgirl. We've had 5 different Batgirls each of which equally as deserving of the name. Barbara may be the most well known, but she's certainly not the only one or necessarily the best one. I do have to agree with you on one thing, though: I do really want a Spoiler fig. Mad respect for the Megas XLR reference. Fun fact: once you see MODOK for the first time, thousands of references from cartoons all make sense at once. The Flash suit's New 52 connection is very small, but it's supposedly to do with how his lightning bolt symbol blends with the ring around it or something. I don't really like the Man of Steel suit for one reason: that weird belt thing. I'm hoping they change to something more like the belt he wears in the New 52 when Batman/Superman comes around. I'd really like a New 52 variant for Superman and Wonder Woman, and to a lesser extent Batman. The Riddler Chase suit is already similar enough for me to be happy, plus I'm going to get a classic Batman torso from Bricklink sometime. GL could go either way, really. His new costume is so similar to his old one, the only difference I can figure out on the top of my head being the shoulderpads and weird EL-wire lines all over it. (What's with the New 52 and those costume seams, guys? I think they overdid it a bit.) Hey! We do NOT talk about that filth in my house!!! Yeah, I'm hoping it doesn't take as long as it took to get this Nightwing to get a blue Nightwing. At least the red one is practically a pre-made purist custom of the Regime Injustice Nightwing, just swap the hair for Ultimate Doc Ock's. I agree with you for the most part. I'm pretty fond of the New 52 designs (they just really seem to pop and they've got a nice modern look to them) and the Ultimate Spider-Man Electro is looking pretty awesome in my opinion, but the figures I use least often are the DC movie based ones.
