  1. We could've at least gotten a small set with the new Cap suit and Nick Fury fighting the Winter Soldier with a SHIELD van or something. Although SPOILERS: I think we'll get the chance for a Winter Soldier figure later on. (this is the best way to hide spoilers that I could come up with right now, so highlight to see.) It was amazing, and a lot of people are calling it the best Marvel movie yet, which makes the lack of sets a little odd. The new Cap set was obviously they're attempt to cash in on it, with the old suit showing up for a pretty big portion of the film. Although why they didn't just have Winter Soldier on that tank instead of Red Skull and change up the color scheme is beyond me. Those Guardians sets are pretty cool. I'm still not way into Groot, but that Nova Corps member looks really cool! Rocket's got shoulder pads for some reason, maybe they used that new piece to fix the tail problem. Whoever the blue girl is (names aren't my strong suit) she looks pretty awesome, too. Hopefully I'll be able to get some purist use out of her. Gray Drax isn't doing anything for me. Does Star Lord have a new hairpiece or is it the same generic male one?
  2. I heard they were trying to get Smokey the Bear to join them, but he was too busy with the Defenders
  3. I don't like the Tumbler all that much to begin with, but even then, I'm not gonna buy something that's too big for my minifigures in this case. I don't have the room or the money for something that looks like it doesn't belong. I'd rather see a minifig scale set with new characters.
  4. Wonder Woman might work better with a sword instead of a spear. The goggles on Red Robin kinda remind me of Dr. Mid-Nite (those two have pretty similar costumes, actually.) Perfect head for Supes, though. These are pretty great overall!
  5. Those are great, Hulk_Smash! Especially Wasp! I might have to add her to my Marvel collection. :)
  6. Instructions, please!
  7. The LEGO one? I didn't even think that had come out yet! Whatever happened to those games?
  8. Great use of those rings! If I can get my hands on Black Widow fig I think I'll do the same!
  9. I think you're right except for one thing: Green Lantern won't have a ring but he will have a construct. LEGO will have to include that play feature, that action piece. Damian got a staff, Bats has his Batarangs, Aquaman got a trident, Wonder Woman has a lasso, etc.. We'll have to get something for him to fight with, odds are using pieces already made in trans-green. The ring on the other hand is pretty easy to lose and won't look right. The only sensible way to do the ring is to print it onto his hand and that won't happen. I can't imagine them breaking out the ring mold again for this. It'd be more accurate to just put a sticker on a flat stud. They'll probably make a green car or bubble or shield or something for him to use while Batman is in his Bat-space shuttle or something fighting Two-Face on the moon or whatever.
  10. He's GOING to happen, just not in the DVD. People were talking about the possibility of a Green Lantern fig showing up with the DVD earlier.
  11. Apprently the LEGO Movie won't be giving us Green Lantern, but the DVD does come with dead Vitruvius. http://www.walmart.com/ip/35715605 Correction: This is apparently Prologue Vitruvius; his appearance in the very beginning before he went blind. Still not Green Lantern, though.
  12. 1.Superman 2.Batman 3.Wonder Woman 4.Flash 5.Green Lantern 6.Aquaman 7.Cyborg 8.Lex Luthor 9.Joker 10.Cheetah 11.Captain Cold 12.Sinestro 13.Black Manta 14.Black Adam 15.Hawkman 16.Bizarro I'm short on time, so I'll do Marvel later.
  13. Does anybody know where to find a bare white chest torso? I'd like to make Spectre and that's looking to be the hardest part.
  14. Oh no, this'll step out of brand names and justify the future of superhero movies as a whole. Nobody thought a big superhero team-up film could work until Marvel did it, and now they're ALL doing it, for better or worse. If Marvel pulls off an obscure character, let alone 5, to be a success, the other companies will fall in suit and it won't be long before we see more obscure characters making it into movies or even into their own movies. That DUPLO Batman is pretty weird. Joker looks a little too friendly for a villain. Meh. Luckily I wasn't going to buy those anyway.
  15. I think it'll be pretty awesome, but I'd rather not count my Storms before they're stabbed This'll probably contain the most squeal-worthy nerdy treats of them all, though.
  16. Great stuff, ianmrid! If I had a spare Flash head or two I'd make that Angel! I can't say I'm too familiar with some of these guys, but that's an awesome Ghost Rider! I ask of you this A Bloody demon is my wish In the form of LEGO man, Any ideas for Etrigan?
  17. I know right? I can top it, though: Arm-Fall-Off Boy. Can we get Nolan on that one? XD
  18. I don't know about the best, but it'll certainly be the most important. The success of this movie will determine whether or not big-name superheroes are required for a movie like this to work. If this is a success, prepare for Canterbury Cricket and Squirrel Girl. If it fails, nothing but Iron Man, Avengers, and Batman until the day we die.
  19. Marvel announced they're doing a big Spidey-event featuring "Every Spider-Man EVER". Guess we're not out of the Spider-woods yet, but maybe with this massive surge of Spider-Man variant costumes in the comics we could see some of that bleed into the sets? Or, knock on wood, the god-forsaken SDCC exclusive, which seems to be a little closer to comics.
  20. Regarding the trailer, there is enough time in between when that blade would stab her and when they cut off the footage for some fakeout bs to occur, so don't consider that a spoiler in the slightest. Quicksilver actually looks quite good, much better than I expected. I can't wait to see our fig of him. My guess: ruffled common hair in grey and a printed torso. The way the sleeves mesh into the hands makes it a little hard to say what LEGO will do with that. Scarlet Witch'll be pretty neat to have, especially for those more interested in some casual clothes with either female details or fleshy bits. From what I've heard she and her brother will be getting more professional crime-fighting gear later on, so maybe we'll see a fig of that, too? It still bugs me that we haven't seen any of the Vision yet. Hopefully that'll come soon.
  21. I guess it would, unless they made the Fantasticar Big-Fig compatible. I'd just rather he be more accurate. Green Lantern? Like, the actual person Green Lantern? I'd be into some green construct-people, but I think Hal Jordan and John Stewart are better left as opaque.
  22. I just got an idea for a relatively obscure new fig! I'm gonna try to hunt down the parts this week, but most all of them exist in one figure. Oh well, either way
  23. Yes, yes you are. :P It would benefit two of their evergreen themes, though: Star Wars force ghosts and a whole mess of Superheroes. It's really hard to say if they would do it, but I doubt they'd be losing much money from it.
  24. Honestly, I've never read Civil War, but I've read enough about it to know that the concept would be super cool to see done in a Marvel movie with the right amount of characters.
  25. Nice Hawkman, autorazr! I'll have to fleshify him for the rest of my League! I really like those Questions, Matt, and your Iron Men are pretty awesome!
