  1. Where'd you get the torso for the guy on the far left of the top pic? (I'm not too well-versed in X-lore) Also, have you tried making Blink yet? She'd be a pretty cool addition.
  2. I hope so. Rumor has it that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver will be introduced on some level in it too, which'll make this a big ol' night of nerdy joy. I wonder if Cap's new costume will carry over to Avengers 2? Maybe then we'll get a variant with that suit?
  3. Of all the qualified people out there, why on Earth or the shattered remains of Krypton would they let Dwayne Johnson be John Stewart? I can't respect any actor who had a part in the Tooth Fairy movie. I have to wonder, now that we're getting Martian Manhunter, which Justice League member we'll get first: Cyborg or Hawkgirl? They have all of the fixins' for the animated Justice League now, but DC has been going the way of the New 52 whose line-up replaces Hawkgirl and Martian Manhunter with Aquaman and Cyborg. Given the line-up we have so far is uncomfortably white, Cyborg would add some diversity. Although, Hawkgirl would add gender diversity (pffftHAHAHA AS IF LEGO WOULD DO SOMETHING TO APPEAL TO FEMALE SUPERHERO FANS! HAHAHA HAWKGIRL ISN'T PINK OR IN DOLL FORM HOW COULD LEGO POSSIBLY) Now that I'm writing this, it seems a little less likely that we'll be getting the Unlimited rendition of the League since MM is an exclusive. Oh well, still fun to. Get it?
  4. ...worth it No, no, like this, where there're 3 or 4 bling bags with one big fig (or in this case, figurine or giant card) that's exclusive to that specific batch of boxes. Heck, maybe even we could have them in specific cardboard boxes, like the way they sell those vinyl figures at book stores or Hot Topic, that way it way blind and you couldn't tell which was which from feeling around.
  5. Y'know how you can buy those "Collector's Boxes" of Pokemon Cards that always come with a really rare one that you see on the front of the box along with a bunch of individual packs? Maybe we could see something like that. A box set about$20-$30 with a few individual figs and one big fig. I'd buy that.
  6. That new black Batsuit seems cool, but I'm not much for all black Batmans (Batmen? If it's his name, would multiple of them Batmans? These are the questions that keep me up at night). I feel like it could be used to make a certain specialty suit, though I can't quite place which one.
  7. Hell yeah! Martian Manhunter is such an AWESOME surprise! After that god awful Lex Luthor casting, I needed this! Definitely laying off the sets until March for the most part now. Will that just be through the LEGO Store physical locations and/or the online store? The closest LEGO store to where I live is a few hours drive from here and I've never been able to go. XD I REALLY hope so!
  8. I really don't think that'll apply to a theatrical movie, especially since this is kind of a big deal. We're not talking about a direct-to-DVD movie here.
  9. I'm mostly going for the head underneath the helmet-thing, but a female lion should do the trick! For once I'll be waiting on Chima sets. Somehow things like this have made me consider buying Chima and Ninjago sets, both of which I swore off given they're simply gimmicks taking up a valuable timeslot on Cartoon Network and riding on the back of ever-passing money-grabbing Canadian animes designed to sell toys. ANYWAY, yeah I'll have to start grabbing these sets while I have the chance. I need some bird parts, 2 gorillas (one black for Gorilla Grodd, one white for Ultra Humanite), and that cyborg guy from Ninjago for a custom Cyborg. Probably others as well, when the opportunity presents itself.
  10. I'd be cool with any of those three, but Hal just opens up possibilities. Even then, John Stewart isn't quite as relevant anymore. You can purist Guy Gardner pretty easily with Ron Weasley hair and the generic green jacket torso.
  11. I was just thinking to myself while watching Arrow, when we get an official, wide-release Green Arrow, he had better have a new mold for a boxing glove arrow.
  12. Kyle Rayner seemed pretty unlikely from the start, given he's easily the least used of all the human Green Lanterns. But, with one Green Lantern comes all the others in purist custom. GL body, Robin or Nightwing mask, black spiky hair and ouila! Kyle Rayner!
  13. Does anyone know of any good Chima figures to use in making a custom Cheetah? Something along the lines of the classic look where she was actually an anthropomorphic big cat?
  14. Either a big fig or a new custom piece. Something big and monstrous.
  15. BIG FIG Killer Croc. He needs to be a big fig as much as Solomon Grundy, Bane, and Darkseid. I've said it once, I'll say it a thousand more, DC needs more big figs. As for the boat, we haven't gotten a submarine yet, and I think the last Batboat was plenty speedboat-esque. When it comes to this next DC wave, I'm hoping for a short list of things. 1. Green Lantern 2. Big figs 3. A cool vehicle for Robin 4. A non-Batman villain and/or 5. A structure-centric set as opposed to a vehicle-centric one.
  16. If anyone wanted to make a purist Batman Beyond, I think this new Nightwing figure is best choice for a body. A black Bat-cowl over a plain white/black face and bam, you're done. If anyone has any better head choices, preferably ones that could give him white eyes but a black everything-else lay 'em out there.
  17. If we ever get Spider-Man 2099, we absolutely HAVE to get Batman Beyond in that same wave. And if what I heard is true, we have an opening for Batman Beyond to show up, as apparently Bruce Timm and Darwyn Cooke are making Batman Beyond shorts for DC Nation this year. Maybe if we're lucky we'll get a whole series spin-off, and with Bruce Timm behind the scenes we can be sure we won't have another Teen Titans Go fiasco on our hands. I'd even be okay with the suit just being a variant in another Joker or Scarecrow set or something. anything but comic-con exclusive because i swear to god if they do.... )
  18. It COULD work. That is, if I could afford to spend hundreds of dollars to make it, haha. Even so, I'd be getting that kickin' Green Arrow over a Spidey variant.
  19. I like the idea of "Get it here first!" exclusives as opposed to "Cry your hearts out, nerds!" exclusives. And then they could go on to make my favorite Spidey variant, Superior Spider-Man! And then Miles Morales, of course. A boy can dream, can't he? A PURIST custom? I don't know how possible that would be, but I'd adore seeing one if you can pull something together. I really hope that source is legit on the Green Lantern news. Not only do I really need Green Lantern for my Justice League line-up, but it will also open the door to some really awesome customs of other GL core members! I'm getting all excited just thinking about it!
  20. You're pretty wrong, lol. Where most Superman stories have him done off with at the very beginning, this Jor-El was resurrected thanks to Kryptonian flash drive technology! He was a hologram the whole time, but was still pretty much alive. Thanos would require new molds I'm sure, so I doubt LEGO would do that. Classic Cyclops is sure to come in a set sooner or later. They just did (a) Phoenix last year, so that looks unlikely. I'm a little iffy on Coulson, as I'd expect them to put him in a set to cash in on his popularity, but I'd also expect Lego to break nerdy hearts everywhere by making him an exclusive.
  21. I think if LEGO could figure out how to make Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet they could pull off something similar in green. I'd expect that they'd make a few green translucent ones and then a bunch of solid green parts. Or maybe just solid green parts all around, that would probably work just as well. I didn't like the glider so much that, for the first time ever, I didn't use the decal. I'm going to find a neat design for a motorbike for Nightwing (probably just a recoloring of Batman's bike from Batcave set) and use it then, so he'll at least have one decent vehicle.
  22. Agents of SHIELD sets would work fine as a set, better than Arrow really. Just make an Agents set with a Marvel paintjob a supervillain. Arrow really doesn't have anything that lends itself to toys of any sort, so we'd just need to be asking for a Green Arrow set. I love both shows, even if Arrow is almost constantly ripping off Batman instead of making Green Arrow a charismatic loud mouth. Ironically enough, I think I like Arrow more than Agents of SHIELD.
  23. Red Hood may not be very kid-friendly, but they put him in one of the Lego games for DS. And then you have to consider that we're getting a set featuring a psychotic serial killer in a clown get-up every wave, so I don't think Red Hood would be hard to accomplish. As for Cap, they may drop a little something closer to the DVD release. Agents of SHIELD, despite the so-so quality, probably won't be going anywhere. As someone already mentioned, the show's still pulling in massive viewership, myself included, and it's still Marvel related. They wouldn't want to admit anything Marvel related was a failure. I feel like we might get one set based on the show, just to say they did. I'm still going to hope for BTB's continuation, at least for a whole season. I know the same thing happened to Young Justice and Green Lantern and will inevitably happen again because Cartoon Network refuses to let any show find it's audience unless it's filled to the brim with outdated jokes from the Internet (I'm looking at you, Teen Titans Go )
  24. Have you tried using the Asaj Ventress head backwards for Rorschach? It's not an original idea by far, but it does work pretty well.
  25. That was kinda the idea behind Green Lantern: The Animated Series. All the designs were done by the legendary Bruce Timm, founding father of the DCAU. The cast was entirely new, but Hal Jordan only appeared once in the DCAU before this and that was just a cameo in a crossover episode of JLU and Batman Beyond. As much as I love those shows, I'm interested in seeing them make a new DCAU. If they don't cancel Beware the Batman (and maybe take the Dark Knight in the direction of that first scene of him with the bank robbers) that would make a good starting point to launch a new Justice League. Although it seems BTB is going to be forming the Outsiders first, since they've already got Katana and Metamorpho. Say, why aren't we getting BTB sets like the Ultimate Spider-Man ones? You've got a great list going, and I'm sure we'll get most of those, though Dr. Fate, Huntress, and the Question don't seem likely. I made a decent purist Question, though. Well, purist apart from the trench coat I had to cut a cape for. The good news is, we're pretty much out of Bat-Family members. All that's left now are Red Hood, Red Robin, 2 other slightly obscure Batgirls, and the extremely unlikely Batwing. I doubt we'll be getting any of those for an extremely long time (well maybe Red Robin and Red Hood). It seems the goal of this wave was to complete the Batman family, and they accomplished that pretty well. I hope Marvel at least gives a suit variation for Captain America to match up with his Winter Soldier look. I just love that suit. Ant-Man's going to be a cool one to see, too. I'm hoping we'll get an Agents of SHIELD set sometime soon, a la this project. The show may have its flaws, but it would still be nice if it felt more connected to the Marvel CU apart from constant name drops and crappy "clean-up after the movie" episodes.
