  1. I don't think it's out of the question for Joker to be in Batman v Superman anyway. His presence is really felt in both trailers, it'd be strange for him to not even make a cameo of some sort.
  2. They're fixing it! They're really selective about hispanic skin tones. Vibe, Kyle Rayner, and Bane are all white but then El Diablo isn't. They really ought to start applying different tones for different races. If they're going to embrace flesh tone, they can't just only recognize two or three races.
  3. It took as all these years just to get Spider-Man with boots, let alone an obscure costume like that! It'd be cool, for sure, but unlikely. I'd say that from this point forward we'll only really be seeing classic Electro after ASM2 earning a spot next to X-Men Origins Wolverine and Green Lantern as one of the crappiest superhero movies of the past decade. I still don't know if they'll be able to make Shocker with the brown bit on top of his head like that, though. It's a really cool idea, though, and it would make a pretty unique set!
  4. Not into that texture on the torso. It would've helped had it continued onto the legs. Why is it that the Scuba Batman has a perfectly fine flesh tone but all the rest are so dark?
  5. Where did you get that torso?
  6. Okay, so I know that I was geeking out about seeing America Chavez just a little bit ago, but now I'm actually kinda mad. They straight-up white-washed her, and her hair doesn't look at all right.
  7. Damn! Another one-seater Batmobile! Oh well, it still looks crazy cool.
  8. Can somebody do a quick rendition of B'wana Beast with a traditional red helmet and the AoU Hydra soldier head? I don't have the bare chest or a good leg pattern to do it myself.
  9. Oh man, America Chavez!? This is everything I was hoping for. (Do you guys think Stan Lee will have his own Iron Man suit HUD with Stan versions of all the suits?)
  10. I wouldn't say that X-Men sets are off the table by any means. They're just far less likely. I find it almost impossible to believe that we won't see another Deadpool figure next year, since his movie is coming out. Of course, it won't be based on the movie, but a loose tie-in like the last X-Men set. Marvel doesn't have some grudge against Fox, Fox just gets a large percentage of the merchandising profits for X-Men and Fantastic Four characters which makes that merch less lucrative for Marvel. Spider-Man didn't have that problem because Marvel got his merch rights back a few years ago. I think the big problem with Shocker is that the top of his head is brown and the rest is yellow, so either they'd have to cut the yellow bit at the sides or cut the brown and it wouldn't look right either way. Unless their dual-color molding is up to that challenge by next year.
  11. Is the Batmobile a two-seater? It looks like it could be and definitely is in the movie, but I can't tell for the life of me.
  12. Oh no, we'll see Spidey soon whether they want us to or not. Have you seen how many pictures people have gotten of Suicide Squad and Civil War? That's probably the only reason they announced that Tom Holland would be playing him: because they were about to film his scenes and didn't want unofficial set photos to spoil the surprise. I'd imagine that we'll see Spider-Man's costume officially revealed before the end of the summer. Especially when it comes to characters like Gwen Stacy or Jimmy Olsen. Supporting casts are so underrepresented in these sets. I think one set with Hulk and She-Hulk wouldn't be too bad. Maybe a more expensive set with just Red Hulk and Abomination would fly, too. Nothing as frequent as Avengers Assemble or Ultimate Spider-Man, but at least a set or two would be nice. I know we have this discussion every so often, but I doubt they could do that, legally. Marvel's action figure rights lie with a different company. That's why all of the Marvel POP Vinyls are bobbleheads. Selling individual figures like that would be categorized as selling action figures, and they can't they do that. Of course, I don't know what makes the polybags so special, but I'm no law professor.
  13. The fact that it's labeled "Hulk" makes me doubt that it's Bruce Banner (I can't let myself get my hopes up!) and the AoU Hulk bigfig had hair that doesn't translate into any specific minifig hair mold. I suppose they could still do it, albeit somewhat inaccurately. Maybe it has more to do with Avengers Assemble?
  14. Oh man, the Batmobile doors look great! Or should I say windshield? Iunno. I just find it incredibly odd that they would only reveal a portion of the set like that. DC's already displaying suits and props all over the place, so I'd say the other half of this set must be pretty spoilery, or at least contain something that WB doesn't want us to know just yet.
  15. Crap, there's already a 2016 thread?! Somebody really oughta link that here lol
  16. Perhaps Ezra Bridger/Scott Lang's head? Personally I'd prefer it be in medium dark flesh, but this doesn't look too bad to me.
  17. There's a big Lego lenticular thingy at SDCC that shows the DCCU versions of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman turning into their Lego counterparts, making it our first look at the new Wonder Woman minifigure! Interestingly, her tiara is printed onto her head, and I don't recognize her hair. If I find the video again, I'll link it here.
  18. Exactly. No X-Men, no Fantastic Four, and none of the currently-existing Spider-Man movies. The next batch of Spider-Man movies will be included, though. Also, the TV shows Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter as well as the Netflix series Daredevil, and the upcoming Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Defenders are part of the MCU. There's also some short films included on the DVDs and Blu-Rays that factor in, although they very rarely add much canon. My Wal-Mart ran out of the Ant-Man sets for a few weeks, but they just restocked today and it's still the 183 version. Have they released the 195 at all yet?
  19. There's still a whole lot about this movie that we just don't know. It's perfectly possible that Joker and Harley will make an appearance in BvS, especially when you consider that line about a "new threat" in the synopsis.
  20. Just put Daredevil in his MCU costume on Avengers Assemble or something and then you can put him in a set. Obviously the AA version won't be fighting the sort of Kingpin that decapitates guys with car doors, so it's a perfectly innocent tie-in. Oh man, that set and the Lego Pulp Fiction sets are really gonna do a number on my wallet!
  21. Yeah, there's no way in hell that's gonna happen, I know. I like LMB10's idea, though. Avengers Assemble is the easiest platform to shoot characters out of, and all it would take is one good Daredevil episode from that show next year to put him on shelves.
  22. Maybe Slipknot, as he appears in the new Suicide Squad movie?
  23. They do have a panel for Marvel TV, though! Seems like the perfect opportunity to announce a Daredevil set or an Agents of SHIELD set or something lol
  24. Batmobile vs. Lex Luthor's Monster Truck! Yeah, I think Lex especially needs a new face. Something less chiseled, y'know? They could probably get away with just using an elf head from LotR, really. The Wonder Woman head could probably pass, but it wouldn't hurt to do a new one. I think if anybody we know of in this movie needs new heads, though, it's Batman and Lex. Although, the action figure and all the other toys they've shown for the movie so far don't show any stubble or even Affleck's iconic chin (what a strange series of words..) so maybe it's accurate after all. Speaking of those new toys, of the 8 images we got today, only one featured Wonder Woman and of course it was a literal Barbie doll. This brings me fear for what's to come on Lego's end, especially with the minidoll talk. Although apparently Batman and Superman are getting Barbies for the film, too.
  25. What if it's for both? The Batmobile does show up in both films, maybe the other two figs will be Joker and either Superman or a BvS villain? It seems like the best way for them to do Suicide Squad merch, and you know how Lego loves their Jokers.
