  1. I've got a sealed S2 Highway Patrol cop, if anyone wants it. Am primarily looking for a female minifigure for trade.
  2. Likewise, +1 to dunjohn for my first ever trade!
  3. Mmmmm... Lego porn.
  4. I'd never thought of that. I've just given it a try with a minifig holding a goblet, and there's definitely a difference in how "active" the goblet is.
  5. I've always been confused as to what the "correct" orientation of a minifigure's hands is, particularly when holding utensils. I prefer to use the wide, flat part of the hand as the top, such as in this photo: but I've occasionally seen pictures, and sometimes official Lego ones, that have the hands turned the other way.
  6. I'm in! And maybe this time I'll win a point
  7. Have finally completed my first ever trade! I still have some figures available, with some more S2 coming next week.
  8. Very good job on the Guitar Hero machine! Most of the reference pictures I found were of modern cabinets, but it shouldn't be hard to make a more classic one.
  9. Thank you both, and anyone else who's watching Here's another model fresh from the bakery: one of my favourite arcade machines, the penny pusher. LXF file I really wanted to make a four-sided or even hexagonal model rather than this one, but this was the easiest to build to the same scale as the other machines. It's not very efficiently built either, but for now it will do. Feel free to improve on it.
  10. I want one
  11. Excellently designed building! Is that in the new LDD?
  12. Here's a couple more... The second one has mounted guns, could possibly be replaced with BrickArms (or your favourite equivalent). The first one is a little more modern, with the guns attached to a cord (threaded through those grey Technic bricks). This could also have a clip or holster. LDD file for these two. Enjoy!
  13. They're all yours!
  14. Thanks very much guys. This might be an excuse to create some stickers and decals, if i have time.
  15. I would say match the colours of the two floors, but other than that I still think you did a good job!
  16. Brilliant use of the hat! Well done with making this vignette.
  17. Inspired by The Soup Nazi's claw machine in progress, but I didn't want to hijack their thread. I had a go at creating some arcade cabinets to go with the claw machine, trying to keep to a similar scale. All of these were modeled from images found with a basic search. For anyone who wants it, here's a link to the LXF file. Enjoy!
  18. Excellent work!
  19. Thank you very much! The auto-tuning isn't that much of a surprise to me, I'd suspected something like that was going on.
  20. STORY In the not-so-far future, the stigma surrounding mental health has increased dramatically: people suffering from mental illnesses are seen in the same light as first-degree murder convicts.* It's become easier than ever to have someone committed. With the rise in attacks on patients and the vehicles transporting them, a solution was commissioned and developed by one mental health institute: The vehicle was designed from the ground up to be impenetrable, for the security of MHI staff (and maybe possibly anyone riding in the back). At the expense of aesthetics and functionality, it is entirely bulletproof, damageproof and bombproof once constructed. (I didn't consider this to be a Town MOC mostly because of the theme, but also because the vehicle is 12 studs wide, as opposed to the usual 4, 6 or 8.) The controls of the vehicle. Various dials and radios on the control panel, as well as a "panic button" on each side in case something happens. There is meant to be another steering wheel for the other seat as well. And alas, the inclusion of nightstick and walkie-talkie holders was overlooked. Two dedicated MHI staff members who love their jobs. Side view of the vehicle. The doors on each side are opened using a scanner, but remain locked at all times. The only thing missing from the vehicle is the hinges for the roof section, represented by gaping holes. The slope at the front is the sole reason why there are light bluish grey parts instead of white. Teen sensation Bryknii, complete with two mics, models the inside of the carrier. (One mic for volume, the other for auto tune.) The vehicle with the roof in place: More photos available in the BrickShelf gallery. * No offence was intended towards people with mental health issues, it's a sensitive area for me also.
  21. Excellent work on this MOC! I like what you did with the towers of the main buiding, as well as the use of those lettered tiles. The only thing else I can think of to say is, "I'd buy that for [a lot more than] a dollar!"
  22. This is truly amazing! I never thought in a million years I'd see Sonic represented in Lego parts. Especially since he's the superior character. :)

  24. I'm very tempted to get myself one of these, it's a beautiful model of a beautiful building.
  25. I stumbled upon this while randomly browsing - a competitor's Narnia theme sets. http://www.minifigcustomizationnetwork.com/node/927
