The Canadian Sears website posted a watermarked image of the Black gates set. Obviously a preliminary image but it looks ok if a bit small. And contains an eagle with clip on wings. The image is bound to be taken down soon as Lego read about it on the various websites and blogs reporting it but the image is out there.

Hello, If I might make a request for a vector graphic of the Galaxy Squad split spaceship and wings logo in red on a white background and similar for the red wing in a red circle logo. as seen in the Warp Stinger Galaxy Squad set. I say vector graphic as it seems like the cleanest sort of image for printing at different sizes. And if the file could be an editable .png that would be great. The larger these logos are the better really as I'd like to print them at various sizes. I'd be really grateful if someone could help me out. The existing stickers of these logos are just too small for what I want them for.

Ermergerd! I want a Warpig now. Love it.

D'OH! I'll get the hang of it eventually....

I don't think it's awful but I do think it's still too gender stereotyping in terms of the brick colours. Still at least it isn't all pink. Some of the new accessory parts are great and I'd love to see them cross over into Lego City in more neutral colours like say, the cutlery in silver. I also think there's room for more than one male character. Peter must be the most hen pecked man ever. He needs at least one other male Friend.

Wonder if we'll see

True. I still want to build a bigger vehicle with split off fighter pods. A sort of dropship/carrier. I can see it in my head but I'm not sure I have all the parts I'd need or exactly how to make the mechanism work for launching the pods. Something to worry at in these dark months though. Winter is always the best time to create I think.

Want bear minifigs naow! Soooo cute hahaha The ravens aren't as cool as I thought they'd be. And obviously as a mature adult the show isn't pitched at me but I like it. What I've seen so far looks lovely even if it's a little repetitive. I guess drumming the mythos into kids minds is what that's about. Does Seth Green voice Cragger? I don't actually mind the voices but the delivery is a bit stilted and awkward. I still don't like the speedorz but the other vehicles are cool. I do wonder how the show can be sustained without each episode starting to feel a bit samey. Maybe having so many tribes will give it scope?

Also the term 'pecking order' comes from chickens. The weakest one is bullied and has it's feathers plucked out and pretty much starves to death. Some call it natural selection, I call it evil. Also Chickens are behind some of the biggest moments in history. It was a chicken who assassinated Julius Caesar, a chicken who shot JFK. Also, a chicken who created Apple maps. Which is obviously the greater evil.- 13 replies

Currently, no. To be honest I'm only working with half my bricks as the other half is inaccessible and includes all my technic bricks. That said, I'm not sure every vehicle should split. Though a version of the RAIDr with pop out cockpit module would be cool. I'll probably keep working on the RAIDr and improve the build so it's more stable. Better landing gear, canopy with more all round visibilty. I expect a fair bit of evolution. Let's call this MK1. Vyn, 'tis my fault, I'd set my Flickr to moderate but hopefully it's reset to safe and everything is visible now. Flickr had already given me a safe rating. Technology, I'm not a natural

Joined the group though for some reason it won't let me add pics. I'm sure people will find them though by clicking on links and stuff.

The evilness of chickens is greatly underestimated. I think Eurobricks needs an evil chicken emoticon. Glad you guys like the entry. I tried to keep it to a tight build though it would have been a bit bigger if I had more of the red stanchions and tiles with clips. I'm going to put this on a shelf and one day I'll expand it and make a more expansive Space HQ.- 13 replies

Man and Supper man by George Bantam Shaw. Dinner in four courses. Mr. Dave Chicken got very drunk and revealed the secret ingredient to a CMF spaceman with an attitude problem. His fate is too grisly to post here but it's in my Flickr stream.- 13 replies

MR. DAVE CHICKEN OF THE TEXTURED SOYLENT PROTEIN FOOD GROUP INC. T.S.P. Food Group Inc. - Proud providers of supplies to the Galaxy Squad, Galactic Patrol and Space Police forces. Mr. Dave Chicken recently travelled to Galaxy Squad base ‘Sigma-19710’ to check out how those guys are enjoying T.S.P. food packs. Here we see Corporal Lou Simons about to tuck into yummy ‘T.S.P. The contract is good for the next hundred years, so those guys out there protecting the galaxy can be sure of a hearty meal when they need it most. Safe in the knowledge that T.S.P. I'd be wondering how they got my telephone number.

Thanks guys. I basically gathered together all my white parts and fitted stuff together until i had something that looked ok, then fiddled a bit more and finally threw in the red. The landing gear and engine connections aren't the strongest but it's a balanced ship and rests on just two 'legs'. Just visible in the rear of the cockpit there is a set of classic space red airtanks. A wee tribute. The cockpit bubble doesn't open as it is, you have to take off the cheese slope but I wanted a SNOT finish so it's a small task to take off the piece to get Billy into his seat. As well as the main thruster at the rear and the two directional thrusters on the nose there are two thrusters on the belly for lift or even more directional thrust. The round tile on the nose is where the red team logo would go while the GS logo would go on the wings. That would be the icing on the cake. The rest of the stickers are leftovers from old sets but I kept them to a minimum and mostly warning chevrons by thrusters and weapons. The main thing was to give billy a ship he could be proud of that looked like it could do the business. And wipe the floor with Solomon Blaze's pathetic vehicle.

Awesomesauce! I'll have to get hold of some. Thanks for the info.

On the two headed one, are the hand pieces Bunches of grapes? If so where are they from please. Also, my favourite is the guy in the middle. He looks like he could fit into any space scenario.

I present to you Billy's Galaxy RAIDr. Apologies if the photography is ropey, My set up is rubbish. I'm currently trying to set up a Flickr account and get some better shots including undercarriage and cockpit interior. Just thought I'd drop this in here as all I seem to do is talk and it's about time I showed something. Hope you like. It's my first space build since I was a child back in the 1970's.

*Cough* Tink you mean red squad there.
-
Right - I've built my entry. Quite pleased with the result as it ties in with my Galaxy squad red team builds. My partner is supposedly going to take photos today for me, with the whizzy camera thingy. I'm itching to share but sadly I'm too stoopid to use the DSLR so I'll have to wait until 'brains' wakes up. EDIT: I've been let down so, no photos today. I'm not a happy bunny.

I had an idea and even built it but it was just total pants. So I un-built it and now I'm trying to come up with a different idea.

The only change i would make is to make the leg to torso attachment one pin rather than two so you could get a waist swivel. It wouldn't be a perfect solution but it would allow more poses. Most people are scared of change and altering the waist joint is the only change I can think of that wouldn't significantly alter how a minifig looks.

Change of plans, I'm building a wee diorama to show it off in. photos tomorrow (Monday) instead. Or Tuesday depending on how carried away I get. One favour I'd like to ask, if anyone has the Warp Stinger and hasn't applied the stickers could you scan them at a high resolution please? I'd like to make some stickers but can't find an image that isn't low res' or a photo with flash glare. No problem if it's not possible. It was just a thought.
