  1. Plus whomever posted about her said she's the exact same figure as before except for the hair (and possibly cape).
  2. Somehow I doubt that this will break that "fourth wall" into the real world like the Lego Movie did, and I certainly hope it doesn't. At least not as a major plot point, as that would just feel overdone. As for Two-Face, I had figured it was supposed to look like melted plastic, as well, and I don't see any reason it wouldn't be.
  3. Yeaaah... You could make the argument that he's an antagonist, as he's on Team Tony, but he's most definitely not a villain. Purple just fits with the black, which is not a combination as indicative of villains, and the very little lime just goes with the purple. You're reading into it a bit more than you need to ;) As for Hawkeye coming... ^_^ I wouldn't mind a comic version, I suppose, so long as the torso would be reasonably useful for a CW Clint.
  4. Not Superman, it might make him weak D: But yeah I had been planning on just using the trans green spear potentially.
  5. Dang, I don't know the character very well but that looks awesome! I might have to pick up that HF head...
  6. Ursula looks fat... :( :P Still looking forward to Stitch the most, and as I figured, all of the disconcerting face prints look fine in an actual picture. Can't wait for these!
  7. Like I said, that should work, I think my issue was that I decided I'd rather just keep the armored figure. I don't know, I played around with the arms quite a bit when I got the knight CMF, but for whatever reason I didn't find anything I stuck with. As for that last picture, careful posting customs in here :P I was starting to wonder if the torso and legs were actually from Lego, and if so, what set...
  8. They made Strucker, and his role was relatively small. There's really no way to tell right now, which is why the mods are continually asking us to stop guessing ;)
  9. Oh yeah, I remember why I didn't care for that one... That suit has no black. The gauntlet print looks awesome with black hands and the black cape/cowl, but the only good way to achieve that is with a dark bley suit, which the gunmetal doesn't match... :/ I suppose you could give that suit the black cowl/cape, without the armor... I think I tried that, but I wanted to keep the armored bats built more.
  10. Wait, what?? I could've sworn the Batboat Robin was Tim Drake...
  11. Also, won't this be more of a Spring wave than Winter? I ask because I'm guessing we'll get at least one set for the Wonder Woman movie, which comes out early summer next year... Either way, if the only reason not to have non-Batman Movie DC sets is because Batman is such a main character in them, then maybe we'll get another Justice League wave, without Batman at all? A guy can hope If the other League members are in the Batman Movie sets, though, I'd be okay with it replacing a more traditional DC wave, especially if it's as big a wave as the Lego Movie or Ninjago movie got/are getting.
  12. Well I thought I'd seen several people mentioning the possibility *shrug* And either way I'd probably rather it were a non-Robin character alltogether. Does Jason's Robin look that different from the others, anyways..?
  13. I think somebody asked about Alfred in a different thread, and I didn't see anyone address it here: there was a different trailer that showed before BvS yesterday for me, heavily featuring him. He does indeed have a "bald cap" type piece, which I'm sure will excite some of you. Just getting a fleshy toned bald piece at all, even if you don't care to use it for Alfred. As far as I can remember, the rest of him was pretty much what you'd expect... Tux, mustache, etc...
  14. There was a rumor at one point that it'd be Red Robin, which I would find more believable considering there's no reason to include 2 versions of the same Robin in one wave. My money would be on him or another (hopefully not eternally scowling) Damian.
  15. Bless you, Lego! I generally like red more than blue, but not in this case ^_^
  16. My local Walmart finally put out the Civil War sets, so I came home with those after work last night and sat on the floor building them from around 2-5AM... I can't say I'm disappointed overall--I swapped out some plain legs for printed ones, both jets were great builds, and the airport tower surprised me with some simple yet effective techniques up top. My question, though: was anyone else displeased with GiAntman's arms? I have yet to tweak the minor aesthetic issues on the sides of the legs, but I managed to rebuild the arms so that they look more Minifig-ish (they now have a curve, and compare better in size IMO). I'll try to get pictures up sometime or other, I was just curious if anyone else had done similar tweaking?
  17. I think I got it ages ago from a build-a-fig...? It's from the paramedic in an old Spider-man 2 set I think. Ock's lab or something? I didn't have the set, so I could be wrong. We definitely need more black-guy heads with facial hair, tho. Edit: it's one of two "dark flesh" heads according to BL; the other having aviators and no facial hair. There are, as I feared, no hands in such a color in existence (I've always used reddish brown, but it's bugged me :P ) As for obtaining one, I'd say go ahead and buy the whole 'fig. The cheapest head cost the same as the cheapest Minifig on there, so...
  18. I posted the link before, but it's one of those rare moments I'm actually on a computer, so I figured I'd get the picture in here instead. Again, constructive criticism welcome and appreciated.
  19. Mad Hatter's torso... From the Lone Ranger Sets I think? The Archer's torso is from some variation of Hoth rebel trooper I believe, and the legs from the Shakespearean CMF. Edit: new 'figs! I threw these together in anticipation of tomorrow, AKA the return of AoS. I made the main 8 or so (only character I would include as main that I didn't bother with yet was Lincoln--but hopefully he'll grow to where I feel the urge to add him, too.) Bobbi, Hunter, Mack, Daisy, Coulson, May, and FitzSimmons. I'm not necessarily 100% satisfied with them all, so suggestions are welcome. Either way, not bad for mostly one sitting in a vastly unorganized Lego collection, if I do say. editedit: Probably what I'm mostly not settled on is Hunter's May's and Simmons' hairpieces, and then Mack's and Fitz's torsos (and I would change the legs depending on the torso).
  20. Same idea, though--and I'm not opposed to it--but I really like the cloth skirts, personally. The solid-mold skirts can't lie flat, nor can you layer them.
  21. Yeah, I like the Buzz head too. The molded head worked fine but I'm a tad too purist to like it as much as the Lego head.
  22. It might look better in physical form anyways--I'm expecting most of them will--but I'm generally not a fan of pieces that try to add on to a normal 'fig head like that.
  23. Couple of observations I hadn't made before: -Aladdin appears to have skin-tone feet on his legs. Hopefully printed all the way around unlike Mickey and Minnie's. -Alice's hair is actually the thing making her look weird, I think. Same with Mr. Incredible (not being able to see their face prints properly, too.) -Ursula definitely has a new squid-legs mold. Looks like it has a fat body for her, too. Perfect ^_^ Also, I for one will probably try Genie without the weird ear piece--use the Ninjago Jiin's ponytail and a "One Ring" piece possibly. Just throwing out the idea.
  24. Soooo yeah I love the 'figs and all, but doesn't the picture just look a bit off? Some of the face prints look unfinished and the heads fat (not Ursulas even). Is it just because it's a low quality picture?
