I used Zod's head with Killian's torso and dark brown Mutt William's hair, personally. Obviously you'd want a different outfit for him when he's doing League stuffs.

Fantastic Beasts 2018 - Speculation & Future Set Discussion

Is the cursed child going to be made into a movie? They could do some Legos off of that, potentially, as well. -
I've been planning on trying those for black panther, but I'm impressed with how well they line up! :D

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
JaseTJ replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
The spoiler isn't Spidey's presence in the movie.... It's his new suit and the circumstances around whatever scene the set is based on. We don't know much about how Spidey will fit into the movie yet, and they seem to want it that way. It seems likely, then, that the set will be based on a pivotal scene... But anything so far is just speculation. -

You realize this is the purist thread, right..? Some people here may be cool with decals, but I'm guessing the majority of us would tend to avoid them. As for Deadpool's arms, that's an interesting point. What he really needs are dual-molded black/red arms... Unfortunately I don't have him at all, so...

I actually nabbed the combover piece for Coulson with that order I placed today, along with a whole bunch of generic hairpieces, so helmets/hair should be quite plausible. As for making specific characters, it seems like pretty much any named agents in the movies ended up being Hydra... I'm definitely more interested in putting together Agents of SHIELD 'figs, though, now that I have a solid set of generic characters to back them up. Thanks for that info on the hats, though. Hadn't ever payed too much attention to such things, but I'll be sure to on my next MCU watch-through :P

Aaand I've placed another Bricks and Pieces order with goggles in black :D I really should have checked for the caps, come to think of it, but at least they're available in enough sets that I'd think I could BL them.

I think I've posted my Merlyn here already, but Shiva should be new. I preferred the shoulder-length hair (Amazonian CMF), but it didn't seem to sit well with the trenchcoat, plus I needed it for Jessica Jones (whom I used WW's head for, along with Mutt William's jacket for the torso and sand blue legs--I like her, but the figure seemed unremarkable enough to not bother with a picture.) Anyways, these two are the bishops for my League of Assassin's chess set. (Which I'm working on getting good pictures of) I may or may not have ordered 20 of HIll's torso off of Lego Bricks and Pieces before it went out of stock (probably causing it ), so I've been working on SHIELD. Here's Fury, Cameron Klein, Hill, and Coulson. -Fury's trenchcoat is on Shiva now--I tried making another but screwed up. I need to get more black capes before I bother trying again. -Klein is the dude who wouldn't launch the Insight Helicarriers, and subsequently was working on the bridge of the AoU Helicarrier. I needed a high-ish ranking character to use the Fury torso on, as I only have one. He also has a shoulder badge, courtesy of a Hill torso -Hill is using Penny's face from Big Bang Theory, which I love for her because of the raised eyebrow. -Coulson still needs the comb-over hair, I just don't have it in brown... Klein and Hill with some generic agents--I didn't bother giving these ones the shoulder badges, since they have the logo on their torso already. \ And my favorite... the Spec Ops team! The leader is (hopefully obviously) based off of Rumlow, though I'll likely rectify that once I get the new Crossbones 'fig. The rest are just random agents--some still have the head/hat combo from the JW ACU guy I ordered off Bricklink, but in a way I think that works. A bunch of clean-shaven, nondescript guys seems fitting. No matter what I do face-wise, though, I'd like to use the hats on more of them... Maybe go 50/50 on hats/hair (the main reason being so I can use faces with double-printing)? Anyone have any thoughts? Of course the best part is that they can officially identify with SHIELD, now that each and every one has a shoulder badge I should have two more ACU troopers coming in the mail, along with the necessary legs, which will make it a team of ten. Just need to find some more of the generic agent torsos (I dunno if I wanna pay $12 a piece, even with the extra pieces and the prospect of selling Miles Morales and Carnage), and I'll have a proper set of SHIELD 'figs! Looking forward to hopefully MOCing a SHIELD base to display them with EDIT: So I sortof asked above, but what should I do for the Spec Ops' guys headgear? Hair? Hats? More like this in the picture below? What looks best/what mix of the options should I aim for? I'm not opposed to getting some more ACU torsos/LegoMovieRoboCopLegs and making the team a bit larger, considering I didn't use the SHIELD logo arms on the generic agents like I'd planned.

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
JaseTJ replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
My word, can we give Mickey's legs a rest? They'll do it how they do it, and we aren't gonna affect their decision (and the fact that they've already finished his design is the last reason for that). I realize there hasn't been much news, but this discussion is gonna drive me batty... Can we just, I dunno, be patient..?- 4,155 replies

Yeah, I got my 20 Hill torsos today... Now my spec ops actually have something IDing them as SHIELD ^_^ And my Hill looks a heckuva lot better with an actual female torso rather than comic Nick Fury's :P -

Okay, so in the $30 range (let's say $20-40) we should be able to expect at least 3 figures from the price alone (in SH--I realize other themes might differ, but I can't think of a $20 SH set without 3 'figs). If we account for those seemingly accurate rumors, Ra's and Talia fill two slots, and Bats is the obvious choice for the third. But it has rescue in the title. So Bats needs somebody to rescue. (Or maybe he's getting rescued? Green Arrow showing up Bats in a Lego set would be amazing.) Regardless of whom, considering any guesses would be pure speculation, that would be 4 'figs minimum and thus more than $20. Basically, all the rumors seem to work together flawlessly and point towards Bats saving someone from Ra's and Talia in a $30-40 set. Gah, I can't wait to find out more ^_^ I like my purist Ra's well enough, but I can't say no to an official 'fig, and I already have a nice little League waiting for him. :D

I doubt I could get a clear enough picture with my phone, but I must say the arm printing on the newest CMF knight looks like it was made for Bats... Unfortunately the arms are the dark metallic color, which doesn't work with most of Bats' outfits. At the moment, I've put the arms on the torso/legs from Armored Bats (since it's the only dark-metallic suit), and given it a black cape/cowl since the arm printing is black (and I left the knight's black gloves). I like it, but I wish the arms were dark bley rather than metallic; the boot-legs don't work with it as is, and the Armored Bats torso/legs are just too sci-fi-ish to look as good with the arms. Any other ideas..?

Nobody said there were /more/ Pixar, only that Pixar would have some presence (which would seem to include--and possibly be limited to--Mr. Incredible and Syndrome). I'm not trying to be rude, but could you guys try to read at least the last few posts before you post? It seems like more often than not it would answer your questions adequately, and might keep the topic from wild speculation based off of something that's hardly related. (e.g. the Pixar comment above: someone says we're getting Pixar, one person asks if we're getting more, and next thing you know everyone seems to think the whole series is Pixar. I exaggerate--slightly--but the point stands.)- 4,155 replies

LEGO Marvel's Avengers Video Game Discussion
JaseTJ replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Yeah, there's an Ant-Man pack coming which will most likely have MCU wasp, and Human Torch is probably labeled to distinguish him from the better-known FF which are obviously not in this game. As for the steering, yeah, I have to brake to turn properly at all, and even then... I definitely prefer to use Quicksilver or a Bigfig for the races.- 647 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
JaseTJ replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
1. He said "in this movie," which Hulk and Thor are not. 2. Hawkeye and Black Widow generally go hand in hand. The only reason she might be considered better known is because if they have to choose one, they'll generally go with Black Widow for sake of diversity. I'm not trying to say Black Widow as a character isn't good enough to deserve to be more well known, but Hawkeye has been my favorite Avenger from the moment I knew who he was. He seems to get shoved aside all too often. As for Lego, I'm guessing it came down to my #2 above... We really don't know until we find out more about the final CW set. -
Oh, I guess I was wrong. I wasn't looking at the pictures when I said that, I just thought that's what had been said. It was probably before we had pictures at all that is heard that.

Would the chiuaua piece look good with the right color/print? I'm not looking at it at the moment, but it came to mind for the puppies, rather than the parent Dalmatians. (I haven't seen it in a long time :P)- 4,155 replies

@rob-ot5000, yeah, those legs are from Deathstroke. I don't believe Hobby got the dual mold, but people have been talking about using a spare pair of Deathstroke's.
