actually i building something different and for this huge thing i need first larger, and longer actuators. i only want to show you this cute thing. zetros? hm looks cool, but on heavy offroad trucks i prefer M.A.N the pinzgauer is really iconic but i dont like the tatra suspension which is possible with lego. when a tatra like suspension, then both half axles will have the pivotpint on the same axis. -

Because Mercedes has updated his U400 implement carriers i will do the same with my U400 Moc First point will be the Gearbox U530 gearbox von efferman auf Flickr The red lever controls the driving. position Up is the slow gear with roundabout 10 to 1 in combination with the full drivetrain. Position down the U530 will drive with roundabout 4 to 1 The yellow one shifts from neutral to the back or front PTO The blue one switches the compressor on or off All three drivetrains will be driven with one XL motor. -

actual it uses the cv joints. with U joints the width would be the same but the pivotpoint would be 1 stud next to vehicle center and then there would be less space for a low shockabsorber mounting point. or do you need the large steering angle of the u joints? a non portal wheelholder is no problem. then the axle is 11 studs between rims and not 13 like the portal. -
