If they bring that part out in more colours it will have TONS of uses/possibilities. It is excellent for filling in gaps that would otherwise be using part #3713...or nothing at al/bare axel. I already have plans for this part to be used in Technic 8285...if they bring this part out in Black....i hope so! :-) -

I am especially excited to have a fresh supply of Black tracks as they have only been in one or two sets, and not seen since 2009 in Technic 8263. -

42032 has part # 32249 in Dark Bluish Gray!!....only one Technic set has had these parts before, from 2004! Also part #32250 in DBG...hasen't been seen in a Tecnic set since 2010, and only 2 sets overall! If you are building old Technic sets with new parts this is a *must* have! You have brand new parts for Technic 8435, 8052, 8288! Also part # 32009 has not been seen since 2002! http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=32009&colorID=4&in=A -
Some rare parts not seen in many sets for many years in 42032!! http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=32250&colorID=85&in=A http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=32249&colorID=85&in=A

Grrr!...one of the most stupid and bizarre design changes in recent memory imo. The old design is way better!...that slot on the side made the engine block look MUCH better!, but for some reason in 2012 they changed the mould design and released #2850b....now the slot on the side is underneath the engine block....why? Why change the mould design?

Can we see more of your protoype collection please?....its rather fascinating to see what TLG made moulds for and then ultimately rejected. speaking of rare parts, i recently bought 8 of part #3713 in Yellow....quite rare! www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=3713&colorID=3&in=A I also got some 32016 #3 in Yellow and Red....both are quite rare: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32016 I bought 8 of part #32054 in Yellow: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=32054&colorID=3&in=A The White pins seem to be the rarest of all!

Technic General Discussion
Richard Dower replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I thought this as well!?...the numerous sets i bought always seemed to have a random number of spares, i bought 8295 BNIB and the spare parts left over does not correspond with the part list on Bricklink, i think its random. -
That is perfect!..exactly what i was looking for, thanks guys!
