  1. legit...lego stamped, legit lego guy. i also discovered that the Red flex hoses used in those fake Chinese sets ARE different, the legit parts are actually stamped...but you need a magnifiy glass to see it, and the fake had a couple of mold holes that are not present on the legit part. and those new axles are becoming more common now....i bought 2 of them just because i like having at least one of everything Technic axle...even if i have no use for it: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=24316&colorID=88&in=A
  2. you can get a non printed version, i bought one as i have yet to decide if i want to use the original printed part that is second hand and aged, or a non printed brand new part.....hmmmm...... i found the black part in a lot on ebay for 3 Euro....and it also had a Red # 3 :-)
  3. looks like Part #32184 is back in Yellow: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=32184&colorID=3&in=A i saw an Ebay shop had 9 of the infamous Red #3's....only £1 each!!...i was gonna buy them all myself but i already have 20.
  4. not just the wheels though....i have all the othe parts in genuine lego, but if you did not....it would cost more, those 16L Red flex hoses aint cheap! the cheapest second hand complete set is €140, and this is missing the wheels
  5. the red flex axles from this set are identical in design and feel as a genuine lego part. i have 14L and 16L parts in Red in genuine used condition....i could not tell the difference between the Decool fake parts an the Lego ones. for that reason alone it might be worth getting...considering the numbers of flex axles used in that set.
  6. wow!...if you look at the speed build of this SW set it is amazing how many studded beams it uses, i find alot of non Technic sets use more studded beams then actual Technic sets, weird man!
  7. So i finally got the fake Decool 8674 from China, took 5 weeks to arrive and cost €46 with free shipping, though i belive you can get it slightly cheaper if you look around. I always only really interested in the wheels as buying genuine parts was WAY too expensive (see Bricklink). i bought a genuine 8461 off Ebay and put the fake/genuine side by side and took pics: http://imgur.com/a/SArV7 in these images you can see (pic #1) the real on top and fake on bottom....the fake only has the front facing side of the wheel hub painted metallic silver, but not the same shade as the real part. its metallic in colour just not as bright. the second pic you can see the lego branding/copyright/part numbers etc....fake below. the rest of the fake part looks like very Light Bluish Gray in colur. image 3....real on top and fake on bottom, the x axle hole is a different design on the fake, image 4 = fake, image 5 = real. onto the tyres....the fake is slightly wide by about 2mm, the rubber is a little harder doing the squeeze test...though this may be a result of the 8461 tyres being 16 years old etc. bottom picture = real on top and fake on bottom. more pics: http://imgur.com/a/QSxFH internally there are also differences, the insides of the real are stamped and also there are two ridges that grip the wheel hub that are not present on the fake. my overall impression is they are pretty good, despiate being fake. the quality of the molds and parts are very good....very passable, if you cannot afford the real deal and want to have 8674 on the shelf then these fake are a good option. also....check out this fake part...woah!!, (i wish TLG): http://imgur.com/kmWmFjJ
  8. i have been looking over the parts list for this set, it has some quite rare parts....but thankfully i finally got almost everything i needed to build it. though i have several other sets that i want to build/part out over this one. should i go for it?....any review of this or thoughts from those who have it? i do admit that forklits are very rare in technic sets, in fact i dont belive i have a single forklift!. just my spares are limited right now and i dont want to deplete my inventory..... ?
  9. Lol....someone on eBay is selling the wheels for 65 Euro each! So that is 250 euro just for the wheels alone... This madness needs to stop.
  10. cheers...Brickset says its also in another set: http://brickset.com/sets/containing-part-6130012
  11. i bought 4 IR receivers direct from the Lego shop....i never even thought to check if they were version 1 or 2, does anyone know what TLG are selling as standard on their shop?...or is it pot luck what you get?
  12. new parts added to the data base, incl new Technic stuff in new colours etc. http://brickset.com/parts/new-05-06-16 #4 connector in White is back....not seen since 2004: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=1&in=A also.....HOLY CRAP!!!!, Part # 78c14 is back in Black, not seen since 2009 and used in several important Technic sets like 8285: http://www.bricklink...colorID=11&in=A the Porsche brought back Part # 32013 in Orange, not seen since 2004: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=4&in=A the Red steering arm is back, not seen since 2002: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=5&in=A Part # 62462 is now available in Bright Green, i belive the same colour as the parts in 42039: http://brickset.com/...ng-part-6097400 Part # 2744 in Blue will soon be available in two Nexo Knight sets: http://brickset.com/...ng-part-6167028 thought Part #2743 in Black is not in the database...unless it has a number catalog/part number or something.
  13. so there is a 11L axle in Yellow in the 42056 set?
  14. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=133997
  15. i suspect those Red Enzo parts ar not legit...they only ever appeared in one set, i think they might be selling fake parts....unless i see the part branded with the Lego logo its fake. let me give you one example...new or used, the 1x9 Tan/Beige liftarm is €10 each...that is €20: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=40490&idColor=11#T=S&C=2&O={%22color%22:2} trans red used is €2 each....that is 8 Euro: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3941&idColor=17#T=S&C=17&O={%22color%22:17} 16L soft hoses start at €3, so 6 Euro there: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=32202&idColor=5#T=S&C=5&O={%22color%22:5} 14L start at €7.50 so that is 15 Euro: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=32201&idColor=5#T=S&C=5&O={%22color%22:5} the wheel covers start at €5 each so that is 20 Euro: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=50965&idColor=66#T=S&C=66&O={%22color%22:66} steering arms start at 6.25 each so that is 25 Euro: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=x873c01&idColor=11#T=S&C=11&O={%22color%22:11} 7L axels in Black. lowest price is €3 for three: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=44294&idColor=11#T=S&C=11&O={%22color%22:11} the PLG wheel covers start at €9 each, that is 36 Euro. the x44 part costs €5 each so that is another 20 Euro: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=44&idColor=5#T=S&C=5&O={%22color%22:5} now i dont need the fake x44 parts myself as i have about 13 of them used in my own parts collection. between 8145 and 8653 i need six 14L and nine 16L.....so do the math. i could go on....but i think the point has been made, i did make a saving.
  16. more valid point....why not even numbered parts?......1x6, 1x8, 1x10 etc?
  17. I got the fake 8145 and 8653 in the mail this morning, to make things simple i would advise to avoid thee sets as the quality is terrible. not just in terms of the mold but the colour of the parts. the Enzo fake is the worst...all the Red parts are actually Rust in colour. some of the panels are shiny while others have a flat/matt look. http://imgur.com/a/i9HIr the parts in LBG are actually more VERY LBG....the shock absorbers are a joke, an insult...they look NOTHING like the Lego ones and were almost falling apart. There was no Metallic Silver parts # 75535. the Enzo used molds not used in the original...example the fake has part # 6538c instead of # 6538b. the engine blocks are the newer 2850b mold instead of the original part # 2850. i could go on and on, the shoddy quality conectors, how parts lack any of the © Lego branding, anyone who has experince with genuine Lego Technic parts will see instantly the difference....i didnt take any photos because it was a waste of time, i was not bothered to go do a part by part analysis....you can tell right away just by the look and feel of the parts there were a joke. the only parts of equal quality IMO were the flex soft axels, the colour was right and the rubber looked and felt exactly the same as genuine Lego. i kept very little, out of 1358 parts i kept the following: 7L axel in Black: http://www.bricklink...colorID=11&in=A (the quality is terrible though) 32195b: http://www.bricklink...colorID=11&in=A (these molds looked and felt OK...but lack the branding, i do have several of these as used parts in genuine Lego....i will have to see how many genuine parts i have before i decided to dump the fakes) x873c01: http://www.bricklink...colorID=11&in=A (again the moulding a very superb and shoddy....the mold of 8145 to 8653 are actually different with the 8145 being closer to a genuine Lego part, the Enzo Chinese part is a joke....alas i only have 4 of these parts as genuine Lego, they are very expensive to buy, like €10 per part. so i am keeping them as i dont have much choice) wheel covers, unique to the set...i kept them but they look closer to Flat Silver in colour as opposed to Pearl Light Gray: http://www.bricklink...colorID=66&in=A Genuine Lego part: http://img.bricklink.../P/66/50965.gif Fake: http://imgur.com/a/wOiIV (note....part is laying on a flat surface wth the camera directly overhead) i kept the fake 14L and 16L flex hoses due to no choice...genuine parts too expensive: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=5&in=A http://www.bricklink...&colorID=5&in=A Part # 32195b in Red, no choice here...unique to set and i have never seen them listed for sale on Ebay: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=5&in=A i suspect alot of the ones on Bricklink are fakes, you can tell if the part is missing the Lego copyright branding and other markings seen on a genuine Lego part. Part # 3941 in Trans Red, hmmm...but weird this part, the fake 8145 part look very off colour, but so does the fake 8653 part. the fake 8145 colour palet is WAY off....its closer to cherry Red, or perhaps a very light Trans Orange part. the fake 8653 part is more colour accurate, the the mold is worse....the Trans colour is a something light shade of Red then what would expect, but not as bad the the fake 8145 part. Honestly....if i could i would aviod using any of these parts, but it looks like i have no choice here sadly. http://www.bricklink...colorID=17&in=A as for the wheels, tyres and wheel hubs. the rubber and molds of the tyres actually isnt too bad at all...but you can buy them genuine and brand new via 32039, the only real difference is that the Black wheel hub is 6 spoke instead of the original 3 spoke: http://alpha.brickli...lor=11#T=C&C=11 http://alpha.brickli...age?P=15038#T=C the molds of the fake wheel hubs were pretty bad, i dumped all the wheels and tyres. overall i think is dumped in the bin 98 to 99% of the parts. i paid €76 with free shipping....was it worth it for just these small few parts? dunno, probably not...but i really wanted to build these sets and felt that buying genuine parts was more expensive. what is done is done,
  18. well, the pricing on the porsche dosent seem so bad now = http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Lego-Racers-8145-Ferrari-599-GTB-Fiorano-1-10-New-Sealed-/182155686369?hash=item2a695331e1:g:cz0AAOSwZAtXJtAg
