i just received a lot of Black and White axle/pins....but i am not sure of the Part # i have: since you can get both of this part in White and Black in Friction and Non Friction....how do you tell the difference? i got a nice lot of them for my custom colour coded rebuild of 8641 using various pins and axles to colour match the look of the model better, i also bought a load of White axles in various lenghts, and Part #4265c in Blue. http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=43093&idColor=7#T=C&C=7 http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3749#T=C

apologies, but i was concerned about picture size and getting a warning from the mods...i have a formal warning already so i did not want to get another. NOT trying to be a douche here, but that part is actually Bight Green, and not the standard green...its seen in 42039: http://www.bricklink...colorID=36&in=A i was actually HOPING you were right, as i wanted brand new parts of the standard Green 6536 so i could build that Technic tractor from 2006: http://www.bricklink...8281-1#T=S&O={} http://www.bricklink..., Steering]#T=C also another new re-colour, the 3 studs wide steering wheel is now available in DBG...first used in the CLASS tractor: http://www.bricklink..., Steering]#T=C Part #2819: not a new part per se, but i find this 1x16 Technic link rather interesting, and it was recently re-coloured in Yellow: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=3&in=A we are also seeing more use of Part # 50484 in Technic sets, as in the Yellow colour: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=3&in=A also the new Technic panels used in the Porsche, Part # 24199 in Black and Orange: http://www.bricklink...lor=11#T=C&C=11 Part #15458 is now available in standard Green colour: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=6&in=A the new wheel hubs used in the Porsche...i belive they are also in the new CLASS tractor as well: http://www.bricklink...lor=11#T=C&C=11 the wheels/tyres in the Porsche are also new: http://www.bricklink...lor=11#T=C&C=11 http://www.bricklink...lor=11#T=C&C=11 Part #78c07 in Flast Silver used in the Porsche is a very juicy part to have back, especially if you are like me and want to build old Technic sets using brand new parts. This part is used in several excellent sets incl. 8386, 8458 and the Power Puller set 8457: http://www.bricklink...colorID=95&in=A The Porsche continues to bring us parts in brand new colours not available before, such as 12L and 19L soft flex hoses in Orange: http://www.bricklink...Color=4#T=C&C=4 http://www.bricklink...Color=4#T=C&C=4 another interesting part is #32013, this part had not been seen in Orange since 2004: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=4&in=A while Part #32192 had previously only been used in one set from 2014: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=4&in=A Part #6536 was dusted off and brought back in Orange, had not been in production since 2004: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=4&in=A Part #6538c got a re-colour in Orange also: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=4&in=A the 1x3 liftarms had been out of production since 2012, brought back for the Porsche: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=4&in=A for me, probably the most interesting part is the 1x11 liftarm in Orange, not seen since 2002: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=4&in=A this a great news as i plan to build set # 8473 at some point, when i can get the parts....this set features some very rare parts incl. the ultra rare 1x9 liftarm in Orange: http://www.bricklink...nv.asp?S=8473-1 also of note is the 6x4 bent liftarm in Orange, not seen since 2009: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=4&in=A the curved Technic panels are now available in Orange: http://www.bricklink...Color=4#T=C&C=4 the large Technic panel is back in Orange since its first release on the Unimog in 2011: http://www.bricklink...&colorID=4&in=A this part is brand new, Part #26287: http://www.bricklink...Color=5#T=C&C=5 we now get the hard spring shock absorbers in Red for the first time: http://www.bricklink...Color=5#T=C&C=5 we are seeing more and more sets used that new Reddish Brown 3L axle with stop: http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=24316&idColor=88#T=C&C=88

i agree....i think the attachment should have used pneumatics instead of small LA and manual operations....but i am sure we will see lots of MOCs using pneumatics in the future.

thanks Sariel...looks like the PP wheels are STILL the king in terms of sheer size!! great review as usual, my only issue is the 32x speed build....way too fast to see it being put together. But then then video would have been an hour long probably. loads of excellent parts in that set, worth it just for the parts list alone.....gonna wait though to see if the price drops. my local toystore often does deals on Technic sets. correct, but it has been out of production for several years...i think that is what Sariel meant. Sariel...can you please post some high res images of the parts list?

I don't have anything like you guys. I just have a cheap computer desk in the bedroom and all my spare parts are in jiffy bags dotted around every drawer I have. Spare parts in the wardrobe, under the bed, storage boxes etc. I do know where everything is and the bags are sorted by part type and colour.

Your Best Technic Bargains
Richard Dower replied to Kumbbl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Re: 43030...I would suggest buying it and build the excellent B model. You then have a ton of parts left over for spares Lots of white panels and white in general. Toys.ie ate doing a sale on Technic right now, lots of reductions incl the cargo plane for 99.99 Euro. www.toys.ie -
White is the New Red
Richard Dower replied to Blakbird's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Also suggest...if you can't find blue flex hoses you could try blue rigid, pneumatic and ribbed hoses in Blue. Or use black parts. The only real issue IMO is the cost of the long blue panels nesscary. I believe they are only available on 8461...not cheap! -

Its more likely you will be able to build it in black or dark bluish gray
