  1. Thank you for the complements. I look forward sharing more images of the new ship too. It's two coiled whips from the Indiana Jones theme. I have a few of them.
  2. Captain's Log - Stardate ...Sunday, April 616 As I, Captain Stephan of The Resurrection, and my trusty crew were traveling to the colonies for a more lucrative route after the wake of the latest hurricane. Our men were disheartened as we continued our route along the path of debris. We doubted that Oleon had Poseidon's blessing to sail in these waters. We all decided to turn back to Granoleon and swore never to sail in these waters again. After we finished a prayer to Poseidon and began to turnabout, the most peculiar site came upon this vessel that could only be a sign from Poseidon himself. Captain Kaleb of The Divination was in the sea riding on the back of a giant sea turtle! We don't expect anyone to believe us, except for the fact that Captain Kaleb is alive when it was believed that all hands were lost in his vessel. Naturally, we took this to mean the empire does have Poseidon's blessing and believe our vessel will be very blessed. This is a 2F vessel. I'll have to post more pictures later. I only had time for this one shot. Additional Pictures: brickworld_2016_eb_124 by Mark Larson, on Flickr brickworld_2016_eb_125 by Mark Larson, on Flickr
  3. Now that ship looks nice. Great progress so far. I'd be really happy with this ship in real bricks.
  4. Simply because a nation is founded by wayward dissidents and lack a unified culture, does not make them Pirates. I am curious how you would define Corrington warships attacking your convoys because a couple of bad, Eslan apples raided Corrington? Piracy? An act of war? This is a time of peace for all of us. We imperial powers need to be an example to these backward people. Not attacking them with one hand and waving a peace treaty with the other.
  5. Great job establishing your mine and gaining its yield. Good job on creating an underground mine.
  6. I added an NPC account for Bloody Bill. Is he a Sea Rat or part of another faction?
  7. Welcome to the Brick Seas Wilhelm. You've been added to our membership list.
  8. During this time of mourning, I have been preparing for the coronation celebration. I am tirelessly looking for more blue and white flowers. All the florists seem to be out.
  9. Just for the NPC factions, not individual NPC characters. I think Ska just comes up with those out of thin air. I could make one for Bloody Bill. The accounts list is simply a list of all possible people, settlements, and factions spending or receiving funds.
  10. I thought Bloody Bill belonged to one of the NPC factions. Payments to NPC Factions do go down the sink. It just doesn't create any error flags in the calculations if the payment is sent an NPC account like Carno, Garvey, or Mardier.
  11. Do these NPCs belong to a particular NPC faction?
  12. Wouldn't it make more sense to use the Transaction Form?
  13. Bregir is correct. Forts are always full price for everyone because all of the funds spent on a fort are removed from the game. For all other properties, only half of the funds are removed from the game and the other half is given to the Faction. Sea Rat (and I'm pretty sure the same principal applies to squatter settlement) properties are half price because the license funds do not go to the faction and are discounted.
  14. Please be patient and don't bump topics just to inquire what type of mine you have. Ska does know that you're waiting for results. If you'd like to be sure Ska is reminded in the future, use the Account Adjudication Form. Thank you.
  15. My wife and I make trips to Denver nearly every year. I won't make it this year, but it's something to keep in mind for future years. I'd love for my Colorado trips to coincide with Lego conventions.
  16. Great layout! The splash from cannon fire is a great idea. I'm going to have to steal that idea. Thanks for sharing and showing off Pirate Lego and BoBS.
  17. I'll be at Brickworld, Chicago. Since I'm the only BoBS member that I know of going, it should probably be considered more of a Pirate Collaboration. Anybody else going?
  18. I've been bringing some of my BoBS builds to local LUG events. Last month we were at a Oakwood Retirement Home in Madison, WI for a Lego themed family day. Here is the entire layout for our pirate display: The pirate fort is made by our LUG president, Andrew. The small shipwreck is my entry to last year's space pirate contest, Ship Wreck Point. The Corrington Fort is what I had built for Corrington's intro topic.Inside the fort is my blacksmith shop. [*]The sloop is CNS Swift that I had posted as a free build. [*]The 3 Oleon row boats use the same design as the Small Fishin Boat. Additional photos of the fort I also wanted to share additional photos of the Corrington fort I had built, since there's only one close shot in the Corrington Intro Topic. Additional photos of the rowboats An additional photo of the ship wreck Additional photos of The Swift Thanks for looking.
  19. Moved this topic to the proper forum.
  20. Do you have images of what you hope to see there, and a Flickr Group about this collaboration? I plan to be at Brickworld this year.
  21. BrickOn, This was not an act of aggression. Our prophets told us the wrong route of the hurricane. After the vessel got pummeled by the hurricane, it had to stop at the scrappy little island to pick up new yard arms and a replenish the water supply. No, Oleon just builds better ships.
  22. Top notch. Great posing. Do you have a completed ship getting shot?
  23. No trouble at all. Looking forward to seeing you work with Oleon.
