  1. I changed you posted images to links. They're over sized. Site Guidelines state that Images rarely need to be over 800 x 600. 1,024 x 768 is the maximum. Feel free to edit your first post with down-sized images or the medium sized images from Flickr.
  2. No, a mine prospect build shouldn't count. The purpose of the rule is to limit spam builds with people collecting a lot of yield the next month. You can't collect yield on prospecting. The limit does count for the mine build where you collect yield.
  3. Please don't bump really old topics. Please read Revisiting old topics (Bumping), which is linked in the Site Guidelines. Thanks.
  4. Please don't bump really old topics. This member hasn't even logged onto EB for almost year. Please read Revisiting old topics (Bumping), which is linked in the Site Guidelines. Thanks.
  5. Please don't bump really old topics. Two years since the last post is a long time ago. Read here for more details. Thanks.
  6. No Maxim. That's a good name for a Sea Rats vessel.
  7. Hass Kabal, You need to change the tone of this topic. You need to be thinking: I want people in the Pirate Forum to see my MOC and comment on it. If they like it, perhaps they'll vote for it in the competition., rather than: I want your votes! If I post it in the Pirates Forum, perhaps more people will vote! I took the liberty of changing your topic title and moved this topic into the Pirate MOC forum. Thanks.
  8. Great work. It's amazing how the Corlanders have harnessed the power of Hades. Oleon has never thought to use power of the Underworld for flight. Just be careful when meddling with such power, you're likely to get burned.
  9. Yes, real life can cause delays in Lego. We will likely have more casualties, because we have more ships this month than previous months. The chances are still the same for ships to be a casualty.
  10. I really like the rig of this vessel. It's unique and fresh, but realistic. The hull is well done too. She has some fine lines considering there are no mid-sections that usually make such a vessel too stout. Corlanders, these vessels are on peaceful missions. Besides, there's nothing wrong with a little muscle.
  11. Do you use Ad Block Plus and set the options to block all ads? That extension does a great job of blocking ads. I have very limited bandwidth, and ads with animation make the page load A LOT slower. Blocking those ads speed up my load time. I really dislike Flickr. The site is very slow for me. It also drives me nuts that "right-click -> copy image location" is no longer available on most photo upload sites, which speeds up indexing for me. I am currently looking for an alternative to PicasaWeb since Google has decided to shut it down this summer. That site is fast and easy for me to use especially with indexing. An advantage Photobucket has is that you can upload images to your account using the URL of the image on another site.
  12. Thank you for the kind comments. Yes, the snowman is based off the one in the generic EB banner. I think he's going to stay there for my Brickworld display. Stash and Captain Green Hair are showing off their musical talent, and Tomsche is walking his poodles. Sounds good. We Oleanders may not use as much science as you, but our religious beliefs do a very good job of filling in the gaps of the scientific knowledge we don't have.
  13. You're welcome Col. Brik. This is a fine first vessel in BoBS. It was great hanging out. Maybe we could spend some time on a future collaborative build.
  14. Breshaun's Academy Of Cartography | Phred | Oleon
  15. The festivities in the streets of Breshaun are in full swing! Outside the Academy of Cartography, we see a floral cart, musicians from Eslandola, people enjoying the music, troops marching through the streets, and visitors from throughout the Terran Seas. Of course, festivities are nice, but work must continue inside. Oleon has copied the best cartography academy in all Corrington, and made it better, made it Oleon. Upon entering the academy, a student can view and pray to a statue of Poseidon. Inside, the senior cartographer is noting (what the) measurements (mean) on a map, and his apprentice is learning how to (incorrectly) hold a sextant. Soon, Oleon maps blessed by Poseidon will be the envy of the Terran Seas, even Corrington. Additional pictures: Thanks for looking. C&C welcome.
  16. Thank you gentlemen. All of these properties have been added to the list, including Fort Abri Sûr. Phredit: Breshaun's Academy Of Cartography | Phred | Oleon Educational License is active.
  17. I never have trouble with IE at work. However, I never have the text editor on. I wonder if the text editor interface doesn't work well with IE.
  18. Earlier this month, Maxim I (Eslandola), TitusV (Eslandola), Tomsche (Corrington), and Sebeus (Oleon) with LJ Hornblower and Peter G. created a large, collaborative Pirate display showing off their Brethren of the Brick Seas MOCs at Brickmania Wetteren 2016 in Belgium. Three other events have occurred and four more are planned of other great Pirate Displays featuring Brethren of the Brick Seas. Quickly find these events in the following topic and check out the latest builds in the Brethren of the Brick Seas Forum of the Pirate Forum.
  19. I think a shipyard would be a factory too. Taking raw materials of wood and iron to make ships.
  20. I moved this topic since it wasn't BoBS related.
  21. I would say Crab claw rig would be the closest. These sails appear to be arranged in a square-rig fashion likely because they're sailing down wind. Usually they're fore-and-aft rigged so that they can sail close to the wind.
  22. Great looking vessel Captain. Your rigging and sails are superb. May her prizes be plentiful, and none of them mine.
