Capn Frank

I'm pretty much finished with the bow now. just have to add support rigging for the bowsprit. I've decided to have only one capstan on the frigate. My PaB order should in in soon to get rid of most of the gray on the capstan. This one capstan raises and lowers both anchors indivually. and the the gears that wind up the anchors slide back and forth shown below (sorta). I've made a captain too that i think won't change any more. I'm very happy with the way he looks. He's behind the female ninja. God bless, Phred

I know this thread is a little old, but hopefully it's ok. I don't have much for changes on the ship, just the crew is now Chinese instead of Japanese. I got the Emporor's Ship. But this ship doesn't look very Chinese (at all). Actually, i figured (in my very unprofessional opinion) the Emporor's Ship looks more Japanese than Chinese. So I put some ninja's on it. Now about my Junk. Since it's originally a Chinese vessel, I put the Chinese ppl on it and made 4 more chinese out of figs i had already and 3x3 dishes (yes they are dark bley :-| ). Edit: The two guys on the right (edit: actually it's on the left *wacko* ) have SW gungan torsos. Then the other two none chinese torsos are just a couple of CC plain metal cuirass torsos. Hey xwingyoda, how close do the bley bricks match up to the toilet? i wonder if lego got the bley color from this toilet company. I think there might be a secret Bley society that's slowly taking over the world. >:-) .

Growing up, i always thought of it as cynical when all that the MF's would do is smile when they're killing each other :-) . Back on topic, it is sad that there are few (oh so very few) smileys available with new sets. (besides fleshies :-X ). I hope there is more of a mix between non-smileys and smileys, probably not though. :-(

It's a meager hope, but it's still hope. Lego might be reintroducing System pirates with this new ride, but i doubt it very much. As mentioned earlier, TLC ain't going to make vegas sets either :-X . ahh, Mr. Phes is such a good house keeper X-D

That is one well built ship if you can do that! 8-o My frigate isn't even close to that well built! Wow, that explains why the decks are so close together. I love pie too! X-D It's kind of like the way this mast is built too (with all those great movies in the back ground :-|| ): For instance, there are very few types of pie that i dislike and the rest i love. With this mast, i think it's "delicious" how creative Z was making that mast that tall. The only part i question is the use of the brown ladder for ropes. I find it very difficult to make those ladders look good, so I just prefer not to. Though, I see how difficult it would have been to have this mast remain sturdy with out the use of them.

Sorry Mr. Tiber, I don't. These were made about 15 years ago and dismantled shortly after they were built. Back in the days when there was no digital cameras.

Going off of what Mr. Phes said, When i first started MOCing, i just modified the sets of ships i already had and modified them the way i wanted. As mentioned earlier, check out the Index of MOC ships for inspiration. There are lots of smaller vessels on there in a huge variety of styles. Phred

I know, i was just messing around. I know it doesn't make yous guys better MOCers. I really wish i lived closer to a Lego Store, but i don't ever want to live near a big city either. *sigh* My wife and I don't have an antenna or cable or anything either X-D .

I've got an "*" between most of the thumbnails. If it doesn't have an "*", then those thumbnails go to the same BS folder. But i'll see what i can do. Phred Edit: There i put a (space) then "*" then a (space) between each thumbnail. If the is a Line under the "*", those thumbnails go to the same BS folder. Is that better Mr. Phes?

i couldn't find any way to contact the staff of mocpages so i sent them a message about the viagra epidemic to their staff through their advertising link. i don't think that this alex wierdo is still with mocpages. tried finding him and couldn't. Edit: Thanx Shine!

This thread is way off topic but oh well. X-D Yeah, Wisconsin doesn't have a lego store in the whole state |-/ . We have to go to MN or Chicago to go to one. But i think we wisconsinites aren't too bad of MOC'ers. I mean check out my friend's MOC on EB. I don't think we're too shabby even if we must drive 4-5 hours before we reach a lego store :-P . I shouldn't have a problem keeping the MOC cannon index up to date if i was able to post on the land based mocs index. I thought Mr. Phes or Mr. Tiber Limited the users on the particular thread though.

i hadn't noticed earlier, but i really like the idea of using those yellow flags in the stern for decoration. that's a great idea! *y*

if it would be a simple matter of cut and paste then aye it should be merged. if you would like the microsoft word document, pm your email and i'll email it it is a good point to just have it all merged also. if we want things tidy, should we merge this thread with the custom cannon thread and maybe have the subtitle changed to "Index: MOC Cannons"?

Yeah,i was thinking of making them brown or something like duke said. will have to do something about that when i make my BL order for the larger oars. I picked out the crew. I was going for the knights of malta feel from Age of Empires 3, since it is a mediteranian vessel. Do you know where any pics are of them not having oars?
