Hey Exo Force, Welcome! For the signiture: Got to the "My Controls" link found at the top of your screen when you're logged on. Then on the left there is a link that says "Edit My Signiture". Click on that. Then just type what you want and add pics as if you were typing something on a thread.

Thanx for the post Bonaparte. Talked mostly of what TLC has availible now instead of what TLC plan to do in the future. Though that's probably a big secret that only CEO's of TLC can know.

In US (i.e. Wisconsin and Connecticut for sure) you can purchase lego bricks at thrift stores or second hand stores. I've gotten a little over a gallon (or about 5 liters) of bricks from various thrift stores. It doesn't happen too often though, but when they're there, they're really cheap for those of us that have limited funds. I stop at the thrift store at least weekly to try not to miss them. I don't know about other parts of the US or world. But it maybe worth a try. :-)

Exactly, hmm... ...maybe DtP could make a line where aliens are showing the cave humans how to make a civilization? Wouldn't that be somethin ay? I wonder what type of torsos could be used for this type of theme. And what could you use for the infamous club weapon depicted on all tv shows. (even though Neanderthals used primarly spears) (goes into is lego room to browse through his collection)

exo attack i don't think you need to be worried at all about being banned for your age :-) . Just be courteous to ( 8-| most) ppl. There are lots of KFOL on here i've noticed and i don't care about age. I actually like the diversity of age and region! I think it's very fascinating. When my AFOL bro moves down here, we're going to have a RPG style war with each of our pirate collections and see who wins. Similar to Evil Stevie's Pirate wars. We construct lots of MOC's, but we take the playing (or Role Playing) seriously too. X-D

This moc is very clean and has great angles. A very fine ship indeed. My only concern is that when it's engaged in battle, it doesn't look like there's enough room between the cannons to man them properly.

This vessel is so not worthy of discussion that i'm not even going to post anything on it. So there... ...oops :-D

That's a very nice cathedral. The birch trees are really nice. I've never seen birchtrees out of lego before. I saw the whole "slide show". That MOC looks great! Lots and lots of detail. Onto critiquing: For the four shields at the alter, i would use the crusader shields and/or use the black falcon shields with the yellow out line instead of blue. The blue outlined BF shields seem out of place. Asthetically speaking that is. The Cathedral looks great on the exterior, but that's a lot of white. I don't know if you can add a little tan "hidden" in there to break it up a little. If it wrecks the interior and you don't want that, then never mind. I would also add one or two more colors to the stain glass windows. Especially to the back windows. (you by any don't have to listen to these, they're just suggestions to try to improve this already spectacular MOC)

that's a fun idea DtP! do you plan on going for the old "flintstone" theme of creatures (humans w/ dinos) or the more accepted theme of creatures (humans w/o dinos)? Though i think there is debate as to whether or not dinos were alive w/ humans. But i'm a creationist, and i don't believe in evolution. I'm very firm on this belief (or stubborn) and this may not be the place to debate such things. Just pointing out that there are ppl who don't believe in evolution and see things a little differently. Anywayz, as for where to get bricks for your new (err old) theme: In case you didn't know about it, there's Bricklink. This is where you can buy specific pieces and used sets from ppl around the world. For specific pieces, there's Lego Factory 1.6 that you can down load for free. You can build your own stuff on this program and then order that exact "set" that you made and order it from lego. It has some creature pieces. Finally for now, there's always the Make and Create theme with some sets that may be quite useful for making prehistoric creature. If you build some MOCs with BC, post them on here. I look forward to seeing them.

WOW Kurt those be some nice mocs!! i like the monitor. it looks really close to the picture. hey do know what the part # is off the top of your head for that bucket on the end of your barrel? That cannon's a beauty! 8-o You should check out this cannon thread at EB for other ideas for cannons and carronades. Maybe even show off your cannon on there.

that's funny. my AFOL brother does the same thing. whenever he's over i always try to turn my volume to an odd # until he notices :-D i just try to figure out how many ppl were really on a vessel similar to my MOC and try to have the same amount of ppl. I never worry about odd or even crews. my armada flagship has a crew of 7. (who knows if that's accurate all) while my frigate has a crew of 165 right now. a frigate this size is supposed to have at least 215ish.
