No, I'm just horrible at remembering names of people and their ships. :S That's all. X-D P

Yes i've seen them before B, but they look awesome *y*. Never thought of of doing it like that until i saw those troops. I just figure a pirate decided to keep the extra imperial uniforms that were still on board when the vessel was taken over X-D It's not that i hate the imperial MF's that much; I wish i had more like Tordenskjold. So until i have a lot of imperials, i'm going to stick to privateering or piracy :) . One day i'm hoping to have an English or U.S. frigate and some pirate vessels. P

Beer's good. I love dark beer *sweet* Hope the lady enjoyed her presents I hope you don't have kids for a while at least. *skull* *skull* *skull* j/k Nice MOC *y* Lots of detail for the size. I love how the walk way is made in this portion: Leia's vinyl cap looks really good. Glad you did a close up. For the contol room officers, would the helmet from the new at-st work better than the ninja ones? P

Well, the admiral's got everything except an older face. I figure an admiral isn't ever going to be young. Here's a pic of my rag-tag piratey crew for the Dame du Loup so far: There's 103 MF's there and there's another 20 waiting on head gear from BL and 10 roaming around the frigate right now. P

I'm sorry to say that i've never used MLCAD before 8-| Anything that's CAD-like that i've shown on EB is from Lego Factory 1.6 :) I think B already has an empire ;-) Dunno if he'd want to join yours or just take it over. :-$ Hopefully he's not mad at me for me taking a French 44 gun frigate 8-| Suppose i could go privateer. I'll have to check out MLCAD first. Is it much different from Lego Factory 1.6 and where do you download it? :-|| Nice? Sorry mate, nice isn't in my vocabulary :-O j/k Mr. Phes, A suggestion for the roof is to have the same roof as the first design and rotate the roof 90 degrees. It gives an over hang for the guard and the roof isn't oversized either *y* P

hey berry, do you have more exhaustive rules to go by or the original word doc? Feel free to email or pm me a copy *y* I was thinking of having grids set up with lots of masking tape or something on the floor. but i like seeing other ideas to use what i like and think is realistic. ;-) Thanx, P

Oops. You're probably right 8-| If what B says is true, Norrington, then nevermind :-/ I'd prefer the use of the taller slopes if possible. Or a combination of 3, 2, or 1 brick high slopes maybe. I would have liked to use mostly 3 brick high slopes on the Dame du Loup, but i didn't have nearly that many bricks :-$ I think it looks pretty good with various heights in slopage. P

My brother and I came up with the idea of using Microsoft Excel speadsheets for the aiding of role playing. It'll definetely be a lot easier when the spread sheets do all the math automatically. I've already figured out how to have dice on the spreadsheet: =RAND()*(6-1)+1 is a six sided dice. Then set the cells to 0 decimal places, and you've got yourself an excel dice. :-) So instead of purchasing lots of 1D6 dice and wierd dice (1D4 to 1D20), I just have to type a little bit of a different # and i have all the dice i need. *pirate* Hopefully when i'm done with the spread sheet, all you have to do is type in (numerically) what you want to do and everything is done automatically. How many troops you lost, how far you sailed, if your ship sinks etc. This should make it really easy for others to roleplay too. Does anybody know how to post a spreadsheet in excel format so that others may download the spreadsheet and use it or critique it? Or a website i can upload it to to be availible to download? Thanx, P

Got an pics of your playscape? P

Evil Pirate Phred :-$ Hmm, that's a great idea for a name of me Captain of my frigate *y* How about Evil Captain Phred X-D ? Thanx Z P

Commodore, Is this your ship? Do you have any pics to post of the HMS Bellephron? You should post them. *y* P

O-I-C I thought you wanted to know what the MF was called to look it up and purchase it. Sorry dunno the name :-$ P

Have you pre-ordered the new Millennium Falcon yet?
Capn Frank replied to Starwars4J's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Just make a bigger cloud city MOC ;-) A couple months before Christmas, TLC almost always has free shipping on orders of 100 USD or more. That's when i make my big online orders. ;-) Dunno if that's the same in europe though. LOL! That's a great idea. :-) Ok, I voted that i'll pick it up once all the hype has died down. Which'll probably be in about 3 years :'-( when i'm done with college and working as an engineer. Hopefully it'll still be available like the UCS ISD or i may have to buy one from 4J. Hey 4J will you offer a Eurobricks member discount? :-) P -
Yeah, tis true :-) No problem Paul, Good thing i'm not an english major in college then ;-) X-D You're probably right. Maybe the Laws of English will change to the way i write someday and we won't have to worry about that anymore :-| P

Nice interview. It was interesting to see the thoughts and plans of TLG and its CEO. I'm glad TLG is no longer focused on making sets for ppl that normally don't buy lego now. (at least that's the direction this CEO wants to head) I also didn't know this: leg(play) and godt(well) is where the name lego came from. P

Steel Dragon, Is this the MF you're talking about? Its item # is pi046 on BL Here's the link for the search: Hope that helps. P

It'd probably look really kool with black sails *y* That's almost exactly how my masts are on the Dame du Loup. Only i have black tecknic beams instead of yellow. :) It was the only way i could figure out how to have my masts 4.5 feet tall. As for the mast placement, try moving the Main(rear)mast backward some 4-6 studs and maybe move the Foremast forward 2 studs. P

Here's a pic of my Imperial soldiers. :-$ Not as grand as Bonaparte's or Tordenskjold's, but that's ok :) I have only 2 imperial guards and 3 imperial armada figs, so i won't be posting pics of them on here soon. Other wise the rest are pirate types, or SW, castle, and city figs that turned to piracy X-D When i was younger, all i got were pirate sets while my brother Duke got all imperial sets. I'll post more later maybe. P
-
Empires Sheesh, First the spanish armada wants a world empire, then the french want a world empire, And now Z wants an MLCAD empire. When does it stop? It's getting to the point where i'll just start shooting every vessel i meet in the open seas. P

The French frigate L'Orient: Work in progress
Capn Frank replied to Bonaparte's topic in Pirate MOCs
Don't worry commodore, history never repeats itself :-D Tumblehome: Is that a european word or american? P Edit: LOL! :-D :-D :-D :'-) Hey B, Can i get a copy of this book? -
Seems as though i may have some competition in me piracy. Arrrrr. Which part of the Caribbean are you pillaging SE? P
-
you should try tape and plastic wrap before glueing :-$ Just have the plastic wrap taped to the exterior of your vessel P Edit: No I wouldn't Mr. P, but if i were, I'd try it with plastic wrap and tape first to see if it's feasible before gluing any bricks. ;-)

That's a very nice tower house. I love the narrowed windows also. I tried looking and looking and couldn't find a single 1x5 castle wall brick. That 1x2 brick construction looks great *y* Do you plan on having an interior? P

As of 2002 all my brother's and my Legos were still mixed together and i started to separate them by making all the sets we each owned. Now there is only about 1.5 gallons (or 6 liters) left that isn't separated kept in its own container. It's mostly just basic bricks. I eventually would like to have all my bricks separated like my friend Brian in this picture. Have to look at the background and imagine there are drawers behind the paper though :-) For organization style i go by type of brick first. then what ever's left i go by color, but only the rarer colors (i.e. dark gray, tan, green, better brown). I don't quit have enough drawers for all the brick-types that i have, so those go in a misc. bucket for now. I have no idea how many sets i have cause i've gotten a lot of my bricks in bulks of incomplete sets, but i'd guess i have around 30 gallons of bricks. Hey B, If you have A LOT of bricks, eventually it would be easier if all your bricks are separated primarily by brick type and not color in my experience.

just FYI, The green leaf does fit onto those two 1x1 bricks (w/ stud on side) perfectly fine. I saw what you had mentioned also, the "bottom" of the leaf on sticks out a mm or two from the wall; it's barely noticeable and looks fine ;-) *y* P
