Hmm, I'll have to check out the British 44's (or 64's X-D ). What's razeed? I'm sure the original French-44's were probably different from the 44's built by the US and England. As the French prided themselves at making good ships and not copy designs from other countries. Maybe the Constitution was designed with french assistance though. Maybe :-/ P

Hi Aaron, Welcome back! I'm sorry if it was mentioned already, but is the Agamemnon a 64 gun ship(which originally was a 44) I'm very curious about the progress of this ship since your move and time away from the internet :) P

definitely 5/5 Yoda said it best here: This is by far my favorite imperial set that i own. (granted i don't own many, but i'm really happy i own this one) If i see this set for sale online for a descant price, i'll always attempt to buy it ;-) P

I voted 5/5. I like that it comes with 4 MF's and a canoe. (i like canoes *y* ) As mentioned already, the box is really kool *wub* I don't think there is another box like it either Mr. Phes. With the sail as a flag, I just look at it as that there is another large flag that can be added to one of my pirate ships or forts. Also, this small fort comes with a cannon. More cannons, is always a good thing. P

I can't believe it! 8-o People actually voted a 3 and higher on this ship. I thought it looked bad in the pictures. :S but i thought, hey there might be some useful pieces, cause after all it is a pirate ship. Then i actually saw my brother's and realized (like Mr. Phes said) it's worse :-X then i thought, oh my gosh, that's a disgrace of a pirate set Now i see the peeron inventory link from this thread and notice there are very, very few actual usable components. Be forewarned. If you are an AFOL, you won't like this set. Just get the pieces you want off of BL; it'll be much cheaper. P

Maybe try having the top roof at the same slope as the smaller roofs on the lower floors. Also, i'd try to have a much taller flag pole. Maybe even use one of B's flags and have it larger than a lego flag. Other than that, This is coming along spectacularly 8-o *y* This is a fine addition to Ft. Brighton indeed. There is a lot of good detail all over the place, and the yellow and white flow together real well. P

Mr. Tiber, First off, was that Evil Willy eating a piece of turkey, in your first post? That'll be a nice inn. Do you accept business from Black Falcons? I've got some that need a break X-D Do you plan on putting chandeliers like simon suggested? The only thing that i might suggest is that the windows on the bottom level seem low or the ceiling is too high now. Maybe raise the windows a plate or two, or lower the ceiling a brick or less. It's not a big deal at all; just an aesthetic suggestion. P

Ahhh, refreshing *sweet* That guy better be able to run fast or be able to take on a soldier or like 4j said, he's *skull* That's a fun little scene *y* If you have a bunch of 1x2 and 1x1 bricks, i suggest using them instead of the 1x2 5 brick high pieces, so it has more a stone wall feel. Just a suggestion *pirate* P

I don't understand, You can't stop your mail from coming in Belgium? X-O X-D P

Oh gosh, thanx Mister *sweet* Kool. *y* I'm gonna have to go check them out as soon as i post this P

Ooooooo look Mr Bonaparte - a Wikipedia link. Is this one in the index yet? Hey B, In case you didn't see the post in Tordenskjold's semaphore thread I posted the info here X-D P
-
Thanx for the link *y* kool, I added it to the MOC cannon index for others to look at Ooooooo look Mr Bonaparte - a Wikipedia link. Is this one in the index yet? maybe i'll post it in the Wiki thread X-D P
-
That's interesting and good information Tordenskjold. Thanx. Is there a website or book you recomend to read more information about semaphore networks? That signal cannon is different from this model: I can't quite make it out though, what did you improve or change on the cannon? P

That's exactly what i thought it was so i never even thought about buying it. 8-| I guess i was proved wrong :-$ P

Resurrecting The Pirates Theme - a more indepth discussion
Capn Frank replied to Berry Syedow's topic in LEGO Pirates
I don't understand what you mean by this Captain. The link does go to the We want Pirates thread in the Embacy :S (Edit: never mind X-D ) There already are spears, axes, cutlesses, and screwdrivers :-D If Lego didn't want to poke kids' eyes out, they probably wouldn't have made them :) I agree with the ugliness of the technic masts. The older designs work MUCH better and easier than the technic ones. P Edit: Thanx Mr. Phes *y* -
That would be quite confusing if a sailor was colour blind X-D
-
Get a good pic of one of the smaller cannons so that they can get added to the cannon index P
-
Oh my gosh! 8-o That's awesome! :-D I didn't know that set could be torn apart like that. :) I gonna have to check out those bricks on BL to see if they're pricey P

Resurrecting The Pirates Theme - a more indepth discussion
Capn Frank replied to Berry Syedow's topic in LEGO Pirates
Is this the "We want Pirates" thread you were refering too? Careful Berry, that this thread doesn't turn out to be the same as the "We want Pirates" thread. I like the idea of a new cannon mold. Maybe about this size: A smaller cannon would allow more cannons to be placed on small ships with a 12 wide hull *y* A musket rifle with a bayonett on it too. *y* P -
sounds weird and quirky, ok i'll try it out soon X-D don't think the wife would approve of a huge lego fort on the kitchen cabinets :-D P
-
As mentioned already, but i'll say it again: The color scheme is real nice, also, that's a good i dea for a figurehead. Is this ship still built? If you like to improve upon it, may i suggest to try to add a tumblehome effect to the sides of the ship?
-
Ahem, I'll try to translate. X-D add a structure or some structure to the front of the ship remove the structure on the rear of the ship add a new top deck portion behind the rear mast Also check out Bonaparte's Wikipedia links index and this Wikipedia article might be helpfull. It also needs a bowsprit on the bow. P

Tordenskjold, I had never even heard of a semaphore station before reading this thread. Were these in common use through out europe? and when? Now i understand the blue and red flags. Do you know what type of small cannon you're gonna make? P
