  1. I'd love to see a Shi'ar Starship and Shi'ar Dreadnought. Lego love their vehicles and it would be a great way to get more X-Men sets. It also gives us a chance to get Dark Phoenix, Lilandra, Gladiator, D'Ken and Deathbird.
  2. The Batcave is part of the new Juniors line aimed for younger builders. http://allaboutbricks.blogspot.com.au/2013/09/lego-super-heroes-2014-rumour-list.html
  3. Would have been nice to have gotten one in January like this year but I doubt that will happen now the Maersk Line Triple-E has been revealed. Still there's always hope for later in the year.
  4. Isn't it too soon for us to be hearing anything about the next LOTR wave? The earliest rumours we got last year was November and those sets turned out to be fake. We usually don't anything solid about mid-year sets until late December.
  5. With more X-Men sets rumoured to be on the horizon, here's what I'm hoping we'll see next year. Minifigures would be based on the comic designs seen in the video game. Wolverine vs Sabretooth Cheap hero vs. villain set like we got with Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel. Sentinel Attack Mid-range set. Includes Storm, Colossus and Nightcrawler. Blackbird/X-Jet Large set. Includes Wolverine with mask, Rogue, Gambit, Mystique and Juggernaught. X-Mansion (S@H exclusive) Similar set to Arkham Asylum. Includes Cerebro, Research/Medical Lab, War Room and Danger Room. Minifigures include Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman, Archangel, Professor X and Magneto.
  6. Really disapointing news.
  7. Here's the original post from Page 20:
  8. I don't mind the 90s looks too much. In Cyclops' case its actually my favourite look for the character. I really hope they end up releasing the one from the video game since they did a fantastic job with him. The only 90s costume I really disliked was Jean Grey's. Shame Lego had to make the far superior Phoenix version a Comic Con exclusive. Its from a list of achievements from the game: http://www.xbox360ac...s/achievements/
  9. I think they're better off released separately. I'd hate to see both ships sacrifice detail just to fit them both into one set. Keeping the two separate would probably also give us a better minifigure line up. Slave I could come with Jango Fett, Boba Fett, Taun We and Lama Su, while the Jedi Starfighter could come with Obi-Wan, R4-P77 and a prominant Jedi character. I hope the next time Lego releases Slave I they find a way to fix the wing mechanism. I never liked how low they sat in flight mode on the last three versions.
  10. Darth Tater's description of the preliminary pics only mentions two heroes besides the Flash - one in the Man-Bat Attack and another in the Steam Roller. Would be nice to get Batgirl though, especially since we never got her in the original Batman line. One thing that really interests about the set descriptions is the Steam Roller coming with three villains. If Green Lantern does come in this set it would be great if one of those three villains is from his rogues gallery.
  11. Glad we're getting more DC heroes. I'm guessing the Green Lantern is the mystery hero thats supposed to be coming in the Joker Steam Roller set.
  12. Now here's something interesting. A clip for the Yoda Chronicles featuring a movie version of Ki Adi Mundi instead of the Clone Wars one. Seeing how the show has no issue mixing CW figures with the regular ones and it did give us our first look at several 2013 minifigures, I wonder if we're due for an updated version down the road? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StCynqvoOMw
  13. Definitely the LOTR orcs. They're much more detailed and I prefer the browner colours over the greens and greys. The Fantasy Era ones still have their charm though.
  14. I like your idea for the Prancing Pony, but not so much the one for Meduseld. I prefer to see the Golden Hall released in its entirety rather than just the throne room as a small set. NujuMetru's version shows it can be done at an affordable price range. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/36278
  15. To be fair the article only mentions three "Spider-Man" sets. It doesn't clarify whether they are based on the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon, the Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie or a mix of both. We also don't know how many sets we can expect from Guardians of the Galaxy.
  16. Brickipedia can be edited by anyone. Anything posted on there should be taken with a grain of salt unless backed up by proper sources.
  17. I second this. The one from the videogame looks awesome. Hopefully the X-Men sets will be based off the comics despite being released to coincide with DOTP. As much as I like the films I find the character designs to be really boring and uninspired.
  18. I'm just surprised Azog is so popular among Lego collectors, especially after many considered him to be one of the weaker parts of the Hobbit film.
  19. Is there any reason why the entire Jedi Temple set has to be based solely around one film? The Death Star took the best from both A New Hope and Return of the Jedi and combined it all in one neat package.
  20. The costume in the CG pic is definitely identical to the preliminary drawing. The torso is a new design featuring a brown undershirt and the legs are dark tan. The AOTC figure from the Gunship has light tan legs and uses the same torso as Qui-Gon with the flesh neck. The design of the torso on the recent Clone Wars figure is similar to the ROTS version, but not identical. The legs on that figure are nougat.
  21. A Jedi Temple would be great, but I prefer one based off the Prequel Trilogy rather than the Clone Wars. I've had enough of the ugly anime faces and many of the Jedi could use updates to resemble their movie counterparts.
  22. I'd definitely want that big fig of Juggernaught. The design from the video game is perfect. I kind of prefer Colossus as a regular minifigure though.
  23. The mold of the new Grievous will no doubt be the same as the CW one. CG renders tend to take liberties in how flexable the minifigures can be and the prelim artwork shows the second pair of arms still connect to the first pair. I think the render at least gives us an idea of what Grievous' new face print could potentially look like, especially since Obi-Wan is wearing the new costume from the preliminary pics.
  24. I think you may be right. Obi-Wan is definitely wearing the new ROTS costume from the preliminary artwork. EDIT - second Grievous pic here: http://images1.wikia...199a12dfab2.jpg
  25. I thought the Robin and Mr. Freeze minifigures in the Asylum were based on their Arkham City appearances?
