Eowyn, Faramir, Galadriel, the Witch-King and Gondor Soldier are essential. I can take or leave the others, but finishing the line without those five would be inexusable.

76014: Ultimate Electro is a nice surprise. One of the few Ultimate designs I prefer over the classic. The Spider-Trike is crap though, especially in comparrison to the small Spider-Car from the Juniors set. In fact I wish they'd just included Electro in the Juniors set instead of Venom and reserved this set for another superhero. 76015: Love the design of the truck and its great to finally have a classic Doc Ock. Shame he's the only new figure though. Would be nice to get a new Spider-Man variant. 76016: I like the helicopter aside from the colour selection. Wish we had gotten a classic Green Goblin first though. Not really a fan of the Ultimate design. 76017: I don't mind the tank. The build looks very simple but the colours give off a nice military feel which is rare with Lego. 76018: A little similar to the last Hulk set. I'm sure it will look better with those flying wall sections back in place.

Indiana Jones is the best example of a line feeling incomplete with the absence of so many key characters - Sallah, Marcus, Toht, Dietrich, Donovan, Vogel, Mac, Oxley, the Grail Knight - not to mention costume variants like Well of Souls Indy, Belloq in his iconic white suit and Elsa in her desert Nazi outfit. Ending the Lord of the Rings line without giving us Eowyn, Faramir, Galadriel, the Witch-King and a Gondor soldier will be inexcusable.

No more ROTS for the year! There's still plenty of gaps to fill with the other movies: - Trade Federation AAT - Flash Speeder - Bounty Hunter Pursuit - Mos Eisley Cantina - Cloud City - Cloud Car - Dagobah - Imperial Shuttle - Tusken Raider Encounter - Imperial Star Destroyer - More TIE variants - Royal Starship - Trade Federation Landing Craft - Medical Frigate - Hoth Ion Cannon We also need a Naboo Forces battlepack. The last time we got a Naboo Soldier was back in 2000.

What DC/Marvel Hero/Villain Do You Most Want To See Made In LEGO?
wesker replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think the chances of us seeing Apocalypse just got a little higher now that he's hitting the big screen in 2016. Really hope Lego releases a tie in set with both him and Mr. Sinister. -
FINALLY! I've been waiting to see Apocalypse and Sinister on the big screen ever since the first movie.

Lego Minifigure things they can improve?
wesker replied to BrickG's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The only improvements I want to see is printing on arms and the side of legs becoming common on all minifigures, just like how back printing has become the past few years. I don't think more articulation is really necessary - especially if results in the minifigures becoming more fragile. -
I like Red Skull's angry expression. Wish the HYDRA Agent was more neutral though.

The only scene I remember them in is when Yoda is leaving for Kashyyyk on the gunship with Obi-Wan and Mace. They may have also shown up very briefly during the part where the Venator is attacking the Invisible Hand.

Hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer to find out the fate of the line. The names of the Summer wave sets are usually leaked during December.

Thanks for the review. I think the set does a good job looking the part of an old ruined fortress. Its a pity Lego missed the opportunity to also throw in a Twilight Witch-King figure. Maybe he and Galadriel can show up in the final wave of Hobbit sets?

I would love to see Edoras made. The project on CUUSOO is a perfect representation of it. Although even with one final wave I don't like the chances of us seeing it.

^ That hairpiece is perfect for Eowyn. I never really liked the generic maiden hair she had in the video game. The mermaid hairpiece would be another good option. Both are already available in the blonde colour so either one works for me.

The set needs a build and a small grassy area made of a few scrap pieces isn't going to cut it in a set with a large molded creature. Theoden, Merry and Eowyn may not have fought at Osgiliath, but we did see the Witch-King perched on one of the ruined towers there when he ordered Gothmog to attack Minas Tirith. Thats a good enough reason than any to include it. Besides since when has Lego ever restricted itself to screen accuracy? Just look at some of the Star Wars sets we've gotten the past couple years - Ceremony Leia in the Y-Wing, Jango Fett in the Tank Droid, Aurra Sing in Sugi's Gunship, Coleman Trebor in the AT-TE, Queen Amidala in the Gungan Sub, Ahsoka in the Umbaran MHC, Han in the A-Wing etc.

There was a rumour that we'll be seeing Green Lantern next year so there's still a chance for more DC sets. Hopefully not all Batman themed with a guest Justice League character. A Krypton based set (or just more Superman in general) would be awesome. Regardless of whether we get more DC, I still hope we get more than one set for X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy.

I'd like something similar to the Dragon Mountain set. Just replace the mountain with some Osgiliath ruins, the dragon with a molded fell beast and the castle minifigures with Eowyn, Witch-King, Theoden and Merry.

Both figures look pretty good. Mary Jane in particular is a huge improvement over previous versions of the character.

Four sets and a polybag in one wave? Does anyone else think we're getting a little too much Spider-Man all at once? It seems a bit overkill for a character with hardly any costume variants and a bunch of wacky vehicles that all look the same. We're not getting that many new characters either. I wish the Marvel line would find a better balance between Spider-Man, Avengers, X-Men and the MCU.

I doubt we'll get another Turbo Tank if the rumour about the new AT-AT is true. They're both too similar to be in the same wave. I don't think Rebels will have any effect on the movie sets either. The most it should replace are the Clone Wars sets with the movie saga continuing on as normal. Episode VII isn't coming out until December 2015 so the earliest we should expect to see sets is in the 2016 winter wave.

But this just furthers my point. There's nothing unique about the sets you mentioned. Nothing that hasn't already been released in previous Superhero sets or the City line. At least the other films had something new to offer. Avengers has the Quinjet, Iron Man 3 has the Malibu Mansion, Man of Steel has the Kryptonian dropship, The Dark Knight Rises has the Bat and Tumbler. Those are the kind of movie sets that are worth releasing. A random car or motorcycle just isn't going to cut it.

It looks way too big and disjointed to me. Love the idea of a Kamino set though. Something more compact along the lines of Cloud City or the Death Star would be better.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
wesker replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Wasn't expecting to see Talzin again so soon. Hopefully we'll get some clue about her endgame and the fate of Darth Maul, even if he himself doesn't appear in the episodes. I still really want a Talzin minifigure. I wonder if Qui-Gon is going to be voiced by Liam Neeson again? -
Would be nice to get Nien Numb and an updated General Lando. I do think they have a better chance being released as bonus figures in a B-Wing set than a new Millennium Falcon, similar to how we got Han and Ackbar in the A-Wing.
