  1. I was really disapointed by the lack of Luminara. This wave would've been the perfect opportunity to finally get a proper classic style version instead of a Clone Wars or LULS one.
  2. Technically it can be Commander Neyo. His armour is identical to the other clones in the 91st Recon Corps.
  3. Vulture Droid Really like the look of this set. It is a little big, but looks a lot more stable than the last few editions that relied on the battle droid arms. It also looks like it should be fairly easy to switch the colours for a Phantom Menace version. They did a fanstastic job on the new Buzz Droid. Its also nice to get another Nemoidian besides Nute Gunray, although I'm not sure why Lego has named him "Nemoidian Warrior" when its clearly meant to be Lushros Dofine from the Invisible Hand. The actual Nemoidian Warrior is supposed to be this guy from Mustafar. Jedi Interceptor Nice new Anakin variant, apparantly a new R2 as well (hopefully with a silver dome) The lack of additional minifigures is a bit disapointing though. The Jedi Interceptor looks nice but is what was expected to be - a yellow version of the last. V-Wing Not the most exciting ship or figures. I'll wait for a sale for this one. Wheel Bike The bike looks like a nice improvement over the last. I like that its an actual wheel now and not two transparant dishes. General Grievous and Obi-Wan both look amazing. Too bad it doesn't come with an updated boga or additional characters. Death Star Troopers Glad we're finally getting some Death Star Gunners. Not too excited for the Royal Guards. Who needs an army of these guys? The cannon is decent, but useless if you already own the Death Star set. Kashyyyk Troopers The Swamp Speeder is pretty crappy, but the minifigures are probably the best of the wave. Looking forward to buying a couple of these. Although Lego seemed to have mixed up the names for the Kashyyyk Trooper and 41st Elite Corps Trooper. AT-AP After seeing this new pic, the main pod looks kind of small compared to the legs. Nice to get an idea of what Tarfull looks like from the front though. I can't believe no one took any decent pics of him at Comic Con. Droid Gunship Nice improvement over the original, but not enough that its really worth buying a second. With the Kashyyyk Trooper already in the battlepack, Chewbacca is the only figure of interest here. I'll wait to see if he's appearing in the Summer line up before considering this. Its about time Lego updated him though. I think the biggest disapointment here is they missed the opportunity to update Luminara Unduli. Battle of Saleucami Kind of boring to be honest. Commander Neyo (aka BARC Trooper) looks good but its hard to get excited for Battle Droids, and I have enough BARC speeders from the Clone Wars line. Should have come with an extra clone or two. The Micro Fighters look good for kids but not really worth picking up aside from the minifigures. The new Han Solo and Imperial Crew look pretty cool and its nice to see the X-Wing pilots finally get leg printing. Kind of wish he was an actual character though - preferably an updated Luke, Biggs or Wedge. I really hope the other sets will come with Commander Cody, an Airbourne Trooper and Bounty Hunter Ventress. I disagree. Who would be the exclusive minifigures? Dooku is available in the Geonosis Duel Obi-Wan and Grievous are in the Wheel Bike Anakin and R2 are in the Jedi Interceptor Palpatine is in the Tri-Fighter Lushros Dofine and the Buzz Droid are in the Vulture Droid Its almost like Lego is trying to avoid making the Invisible Hand by releasing all the necessary characters in other sets. Just like how they included Boba and Jango into random sets this year so the could skip remaking the Slave I.
  4. They've made new molds for battlepacks before - namely the ARF Trooper, ARC Trooper and Republic Trooper.
  5. I don't think its too odd. There aren't many characters to pick from the Battle of Coruscant and battle droids alone won't help sell a set.
  6. The 2012 Palpatine had a double sided face so I think its very likely this one will too. One good thing about this new Palpatine is that his face shouldn't be as scene specific as the last version which leaves the door open for a pre-transformation Darth Sidious down the road.
  7. I wouldn't mind a Gungan battle pack, but what I really want though is a Naboo forces one. The Naboo Soldier hasn't been released since 2000 and is long overdue for an upgrade. We also haven't gotten a Naboo Palace Guard yet. Maybe throw in a Naboo Security Officer as well using Captain Panaka's uniform. I kind of feel 2015 is our last chance for it to happen since Rebels, Sequel Trilogy, the spin offs and the OT are going to be the focus in the coming years.
  8. Good to hear we're getting a new Palpatine. Guess this rules out an Invisible Hand happening anytime soon though. You can't have a ROTS wave without Anakin, and Obi-Wan is already likely to come in the Wheel Bike set so it makes sense why Lego decided to go with Anakin's other Interceptor. But I agree it would be nice to get Obi-Wan's version of the ship at some point. Just clones I believe. I'm kind of hoping Commander Cody will be included in the battlepack so we can get Tion Meddon in the Wheel Bike chase. I don't really see Lego giving us both characters plus Obi-Wan, Grievous, the Boga and a Magna Guard all in the one set.
  9. It will be Clone Wars. The cannon has only appeared on the show, not the prequels.
  10. The Penguin set sounds awesome for the Duckmobile alone. Shame there's so many repeat villains though - none of which are Two-Face. He could've really used an upgrade from that ugly orange and purple suit. Hopefully Nightwing and Batgirl are the two hero figures.
  11. Most of the dwarves are background fodder anyway. Outside of Thorin, Balin and to a lesser extent Kili I can't even remember anything notable about them in the last film. Very different from the fellowship where each character was properly developed and given the chance to stand out.
  12. Beorn looks interesting. It wouldn't surprise me though if Lego goes cheap and just uses the Dumbledore hairpiece on him like they did with Gandalf and Lurtz. Galadriel would be great. I too hope she comes in the white gown. If we're only going to get one Galadriel figure in this line, it might as well be the look she's most known for. If we ever get Eowyn however, I hope Lego releases both an Edoras version and an armoured one.
  13. A Death Star Gunner would be awesome. Hopefully we'll see both those figures in the battlepack.
  14. Nice review. I think this set is a pretty good improvement over the previous version. The rounded body especially looks a lot better. The only thing I think could be improved is the minifigure selection. We've had so many Super Battle Droids over the years, it would've been nice to have some more Geonosis Battle Droids instead. And although inaccurate to the scene, I do prefer Adi Gallia over Stass Allie.
  15. Four battlepacks sounds awesome. Even better they're going back to the single faction ones. I'm guessing we'll be seeing some updates of these troops (or in the case of the 212th trooper a non-Clone Wars version)
  16. Hopefully we'll see a few more unique characters this time around.
  17. Thats a shame. I would've liked to have gotten the remaining planets.
  18. Endor Leia = camo outfit Ewok Village Leia = hippy outfit Although we got Endor Leia back in 2009, the figure is dated next to all the modern Leia's we've been getting since 2011 and is due for an update. Endor Luke is in even more need of an update since he hasn't been seen since 1999 - back before minifigures had flesh skin and detailed printing. As for Han, his Endor costume is the only version of him that hasn't been released yet so getting him would complete the collection of Han Solo minifigures so to speak. Might as well get all three characters together. Besides Endor Leia, the only other versions of her we need are: - Bespin (previously released in the Cloud City set from 2003, but also in need of an update) - Bespin Escape - General - Medical Frigate
  19. Two Endor sets and not one comes with a minifigure of Endor Leia?! I'm disapointed. She needs an update too!
  20. I wonder if the Vulture Droid is actually a Droid battlepack. The original edition from 1999 was about half the price of a battlepack if I remember correctly. I'm also curious about the new X-Wing. If its another mini version in a planet set, Dagobah would be the most likely choice. Then again it was only a 2 year gap between the 4502 X-Wing and 6212 version, so it wouldn't surprise me if Lego wants to keep the system scale version available on the market a little while longer. Either way Biggs Darklighter, Wedge Antilles and Dagobah Luke are all overdue for an update, and an OT Yoda and a definitive X-Wing Pilot Luke wouldn't hurt either. A new system scale Star Destroyer would be nice. The 2006 version was good for the most part but the floor was too unstable. If it is system scaled, hopefully it will come with updated versions of Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin and a tan version of Palpatine. Looking forward to seeing the new Wheel Bike. It will be interesting to see how much Lego has improved upon the design. A new Boga with modern articulation and printing would also be great. I don't think Grievous himself needs that much of an update though as the mold and colours of the Clone Wars version are fine the way they are. At most he could use a less cartoonish face print. Hopefully the set will also come with Tion Meddon and Commander Cody. And off course Obi-Wan, preferably kitbashed from the 2012 ROTS figure and 2013 Clone Wars one: Not much to say on the other sets other than I hope we get a few more CW Jedi updated in the classic Lego style (Luminara Unduli, Aayla Secura, Shaak Ti etc) I'm also hoping the Death Star Trooper is actually a Death Star Gunner. Not all that excited for another V-Wing. Hopefully its part of a planet set.
  21. Wat Tambor might be better suited for Geonosis. At least there he can be paired with a Techno Union rocket ship as the mini build, whereas Mustafar doesn't really have a ship or vehicle he can be linked too. I think Mustafar might be better coming with Padme and her Naboo starship. Another suggestion is the planet Yavin (not the moon Yavin IV we previously got) with either Biggs Darklighter or Wedge Antilles. Both are long overdue for an update.
  22. The Witch-King did make an appearance in the previous film as the ghost that fought Radagast. I don't know if we'll see much of him in the next movie, but it would be nice to have a figure of him in his ghostly form. Especially since we missed out on getting him in the Weathertop set.
  23. I wouldn't mind a Tusken camp if it came with Shmi, although I'd prefer the minifigure's appearance to be based off TPM rather than a bloodied up AOTC version. On another subject - does anyone else think the CMF cape used on the Graduate and Judge would be perfect for Bespin Leia?
  24. Gungan Patrol Flash Speeder Gian Speeder AAT MTT Pretty much anything Naboo themed. If we ever do get a Boss Nass minifigure he should also come with Captain Tarpals.
  25. A remake of this would be great. A new Zam Wesell is long overdue. Although I would prefer a Senator Padme over a nightgown version. It might be inaccurate to the scene but the chances of Padme getting many more minifigures are pretty slim, so it would be nice to get some of her more interesting costumes whatever chance we can.
