  1. The TIE Fighter, X-Wing and Rancor Pit are pretty iconic though. I think the main reason these new sets are so forgetable is because the wave is almost entirely based on ROTS, and barely any of the ships or vehicles in that film are on screen long enough to leave an impression. The Jedi Interceptor is an exception, but we already had one of those not long ago. Maybe if we had some location playsets instead of just obscure vehicles it would be a different story, but for now I can't wait to get back to focusing on the other five movies.
  2. I don't have a problem with the lack of Captain America 2 sets. Watching the trailer I don't see anything that leaves the impression it would make a good retail set aside from what we already have from the Avengers. It would be Iron Man 3 all over again. The only selling points would be minifigures of Falcon and Winter Soldier, and we're getting at least one of them anyway.
  3. The X-Men alone has plenty of female heroes to choose from. Jean, Storm, Rogue, Kitty, Emma, Psylocke, Jubilee, X-23, Polaris. Not to mention all the villains and support characters like Mystique, Moira MacTaggart, Lady Deathstrike, Lilandra, Deathbird, Mariko, Yukio, Callisto, Marrow, Vertigo, Selene, Silverfox, Spiral, Shard, Arclight, Shanna etc. Shame the Marvel line won't come even close to giving us those characters.
  4. Really love the detail on Palpatine's robe. Shame Lego doesn't do the same for Padme with some of her more glamorous outfits. I agree they went a little overboard with the wrinkles on Palpatine's face, but the head is still a nice improvement over the previous figure and its great tthat we finally have the option of having a non-deformed Darth Sidious.
  5. Love the Police Gunship. The trans red cockpit really makes the set stand out from the usual SW ships. Those Shock Troopers look fantastic too. Shame we're not getting Asajj Ventress though. Feels like a missed opportunity not having a bounty hunter variant with that awesome face mask. The Droid Tri-Fighter looks good. Not a whole lot different from the last version but still a solid looking set. Palpatine looks pretty good and its nice to finally have a neutral non-deformed face for him. Definitely will come in handy for a TPM/AOTC Darth Sidious. I don't mind Han Solo's new face much. The smirking side will take some getting used too, but his other expression is a nice improvement over the previous version.
  6. I suppose they could always print the skirt on flesh legs like the slave costume. Either that or give her a cloth skirt.
  7. I like the idea of getting one of the ghost trio from the end of ROTJ. Preferably Yoda or Anakin, since Obi-Wan can always be saved for a future Dagobah set. Another option is either Luke or Leia in their costumes from the Star Wars theatrical poster.
  8. Its a shame Lego hasn't released the Hollywood Starlet and Trendsetter hairpieces from the CM line in dark orange. Both would be perfect for the Avengers and Cap 2 versions of Black Widow.
  9. That picture of Indy is an early design that was later changed during the game's development to match the actual minifigure. There was a similar case with Cyclops and Elektra in Lego Marvel Superheroes. Here's the final version of Indy from the game:
  10. The 3DS/Vita version of the game has a few extra X-Men characters. Would love to get 90s Storm and both versions of Wolverine in a set.
  11. The design for Beast in the game is perfect. I wouldn't mind Colossus being a regular sized minifigure though.
  12. Why? Its a mid year wave. We haven't heard news about any mid year wave for any theme yet. Last year we didn't get the LOTR set names until December. At least give it another month before everyone starts panicking.
  13. The main X-Men costumes I want are: - 90s cartoon Cyclops - 90s cartoon Beast - Modern Rogue with the Pepper Potts hairpiece - Jean Grey as Phoenix Besides those I don't have a preference, just as long as its from the comics.
  14. I hope X-Men gets more than just the one set. The lack of attention its gotten since the line started has been pretty disapointing.
  15. This is why ROTS sets are always my least anticipated. Most of the ships and vehicles are too obscure and only appear for a couple of seconds. There's not really anything memorable aside from what already appeared in the previous movies.
  16. Lego nailed the look of the Death Star Gunners. The design of the helmets are perfect! The Nemoidian Warrior looks pretty awesome too. Overall looks like a fairly solid wave, although not the most exciting. Hopefully this is it for ROTS and the second wave will focus on the other five movies. Yeah that was pretty disapointing. The current one is oversized and looks dated without the printing. It really could've used an update.
  17. Despite being a set aimed at young children, I quite like the design of Spidey's car. I could see myself picking one up.
  18. I'd love to see Lego release a Blackbird similar to this. It looks exactly like the one from the 90s cartoon. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/46830
  19. Anakin's new face looks pretty cool. At least its a little more consistant with the AOTC figure, rather than that and ROTS Anakin looking like two completely different characters. Wish they changed the hairpiece to something a little more accurate. I'd like to see Obi-Wan get an updated pilot variant at some point. The last two versions had the same leg printing.
  20. I'd personally love to get something from Mortis. I thought the Ones (especially the Father and Son) had some awesome character designs.
  21. Episode VII's release shouldn't have any effect on the 2015 Summer wave. The only change I see happening is the 2016 Winter wave being released a month earlier in December rather than January.
  22. I think we'll end up getting the same Mystique as the video game.
  23. I can see them sticking with two for X-Men and another two for Guardians of the Galaxy. We haven't seen Green Lantern in either the Batman or Lego Movie sets which means there may be more DC sets on the horrizon, so Marvel can't have too many in the next wave. Personally I'd love to get at least three retail sets like the Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel did and a D2C exclusive. The X-Men have been sorely overlooked in this line.
