  1. I don't mind which helmet we get. The comic version does go perfectly with Lego's style but the movie version looks seriously badass. The other characters in the movie don't seem all that different from their comic book counterparts.
  2. I'm still holding out a Marvel exclusive will be revealled in late December/January.
  3. The Necromancer still looks black to me.
  4. 2013 was 11 years from AOTC. The reason we got so many sets was because they were supposed to tie in with the (now cancelled) 3D re-release of the film in theatres. Its the same reason why the new wave is heavily based on ROTS.
  5. Two waves of ROTS in the same year would be boring. There's still plenty of sets left to be made from the Original Trilogy, TPM, AOTC and TCW.
  6. I'd replace Lando with Leia for the Cloud Car. Lando can always come with Cloud City, but there's no way we'd get both Bespin Leia and Bespin Escape Leia in the same set.
  7. Thanks for the pics. I like the look of Batman's helicopter although Nightwing's glider is pretty lame. Nice to see we're also getting a brand new version of the Penguin.
  8. V-Wing looks nice but probably my least wanted set of the wave. Its not much different from the last one and the ship was barely even in the movie.
  9. The new pilot looks awesome. I'm glad we're finally getting the X-Wing pilots and Snowspeeder pilots as two distinctly different figures. Shows how far Lego has come since using the one generic pilot to cover both.
  10. The new Chewbacca looks great. I just hope the larger head won't be an issue fitting him inside the Falcon.
  11. I actually don't mind the lack of Captain America 2 sets. Aside from the Winter Soldier there isn't really anything in the trailer that stands out to me being worthy of a retail set. We're still getting Falcon, Red Skull, a comic style HYDRA Agent and a HYDRA vehicle near identical to one from the first movie, so its not like the Captain America universe is being ignored or anything. The most we have gotten out of Thor is a minifigure of him and Loki. Thats it.
  12. I couldn't agree more. The lack of sets was a massive missed opportunity on Lego's part.
  13. The Grievous pics have been around for a while.
  14. All we know so far is that we're getting more Marvel sets later in the year based on X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy. There's been no word on how many sets either theme will be getting. We're also rumoured to be getting Green Lantern in a set next year, but we don't know if it will be a DC Superheroes set or The Lego Movie.
  15. The X-Men are still my most anticipated Superheroes sets for next year. Hopefully it won't just be the one set like it was for 2012.
  16. Interesting theory. Zola does seem better suited for the lab environment the set is based on. Doesn't quite explain the sword and shield though. Both characters appear in the video game so it will be interesting to see which one it will be.
  17. Awesome news about Red Skull and the HYDRA Agent. I'm a bit disapointed we won't be seeing the Winter Soldier though, unless Lego pulls an Iron Patriot on us.
  18. Thanks for the pic. The cannon doesn't look too bad. It reminds me a lot of the Umbaran walker we got earlier this year.
  19. For preliminary designs I'm quite impressed with next year's vehicle line up. Classic Robin is a nice surprise. I wasn't expecting to see him. Hopefully the second Robin minifigure is Damian Wayne and Doc Ock is based on the classic comic design.
  20. I don't think the X-Men are intended to be based off the animated series but rather their most iconic appearance. In Storm's case she's much better known for her (modern) black costume than she is for the white 90s one. She's not the only one not based off the cartoon though. Archangel uses his X-Force costume while Wolverine has both his Astonishing (similar to the classic yellow one, but not the same) and Classic Brown outfits. Cyclops even has his Astonishing costume in addition to the 90s one.
  21. After seeing that pic, I really hope Captain America gets a helmet similar to the Flash.
  22. Any close ups of Obi-Wan? I only see the small sized pictures on the ebay listing.
  23. The detail on Tarfful is amazing! Lego has really outdone themselves this time! The new Obi-Wan looks great as well. Now if only we could get some leaked pics of Chewbacca and the Nemoidian.
  24. Thats from the original Grievous figure back in 2005.
  25. Don't get me wrong, Thor is definitely a popular character. When I say he may not be a strong enough name I'm referring more to the brand itself rather than the character. An "Avengers" themed set with Thor is likely to sell better than a "Thor" themed set, if that makes sense.
