Boba's is more iconic because its the original. But I do agree with you Jango's version deserves more attention, not only having a prominant role in AOTC but in the second season of The Clone Wars as well. Regardless which version they go with for their next revision, I hope they finally give the ship a more accurate wing mechanism.

Attack of the Clones is being re-released in theatres.

Great to hear Jango will be in a cheap-ish set. I'm a little disapointed there's no Satine in the Mandalorian Speeder, but the rest of the minifigures sound awesome. I wonder if one of the two Mandalorians is Bo-Katan or Obi-Wan?

The rumoured Frodo and Ringwraith set is actually the Wizard Battle set. The dutch site that first reported the next LOTR wave got the set numbers right, but the names were incorrect save for the Pirate ship. I'd like to see more Padme figures released. I know realistically not all her costumes are going to be done, but I can see these ones appearing in possible sets:
-
The only way I ever see Jango being an exclusive promo figure is if he has a chromed variant like Vader and C-3PO. He's just too big a character not to be included in regular sets.
-
Remember these are still preliminary pictures and that the figure shown is a placeholder using pre-existing parts. We don't know for sure if the final product will have a sloped skirt, or if her costume is even based on the from the chase sequence.

I hope we get a new hairpiece too. Although if she doesn't, I hope she uses the Ceremony Leia hair over the Tamina one. The ponytail might not be braided but the overall look is a lot more accurate.

What makes people think Jango won't be included in the AT-TE? Lego has never limited their minifigure selection based on screen accuracy before. Just look at past sets: - Ventress in the 2008 Republic Gunship - Cad Bane in the Turbo Tank - Aurra Sing in the Bounty Hunter Gunship - Obi-Wan in the Podrace - Padme and Panaka in the Sith Infiltrator - Queen Amidala in the Gungan Sub - Ceremony Leia in the Y-Wing - Ackbar and Han in the A-Wing One thing Lego has been trying to do in recent years is have a complete line up of main characters available within a certain theme. In 2010 we saw them focus on A New Hope, The Phantom Menace and Hoth. More recently its been Jabba's Palace. Next year looks like its going to be Geonosis. If Yoda and Dooku are coming in the Duel set, and Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padme in the Gunship, who else is left for the AT-TE? Jango and Mace are the only two major characters that come to mind.

Great job. The revised wings look so much better than those on the official set. I'd like to see future releases use this method.

Same here. I would happily trade both Arwen and Tauriel for Eowyn.

A new torso with back printing and possibly a new molded hairpiece is as far as I see them going. Then again they could always reuse the Ceremony Leia hairpiece as its the closest match out of the pre-existing elements. I don't see the point in a cloth skirt when the printed legs worked just fine on the previous version. As for her face I think its fine and would hate to see it changed so soon, especially after the ammount of new Leia figures we've gotten recently. I get not everyone is happy its recycled from another character, but the design is a natural upgrade from the pre-pupil version and is fitting for her character. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if the face was originally intended for Leia but was pulled last minute for the PoP line, as 2010 was the year SW changed to the pupil faces and is also the only year between 2006 and now where Leia was absent from the set line up. She was also originally rumoured to appear in the Slave I set that year. Besides its not like we're ever going to see another Tamina figure again. Here's a quick mock up of what the figure would look like if only the face and hair are changed.

Are these the only LOTR sets coming in the next wave? Four doesn't seem that many, especially with how small the Wizard Battle looks.

Just the one that came out in 2004 with Luke's landspeeder and the dewback. Wasn't much of a cantina though.
-
I believe its the same dark yellow that was used on the Wolverine minifigure.
-
I love the new face for Luke. I'll be happy to see this one replace the single sided smiley he's been using the last few years now.

Yeah I remember hearing that along with a new visual dictionary (before Yoda's Chronicles was revealled) in the SW rumour thread a couple months back. Clone Wars is probally the more likely since the last game only covered the first two seasons.

Thanks for the review. I love the look of this set and the new Ahsoka is a huge improvement over the old. I like the purple heads on the Umbarans too. I wouldn't mind seeing future Palpatine minifigures use this colour instead of the grey which always seemed a bit dark to me.
-
One set I'd really love to see is Minas Morgul utilizing the new glow in the dark pieces. You'd have the main wall similar to the one in Helms Deep, the connecting bridge with gargoyles and the tower that lights up. Would be a nice set to include the Witch-King on his Fell Beast in if he doesn't get his own with Eowyn.
-
I won't be complaining if we see the Witch-King and his Fell Beast in a Minas Morgul set. Especially if it uses those glow in the dark pieces.

Pretty high I'd say. Based on the number of figures rumoured for both the AT-TE and Gunship I'm assuming the minifigure line up will be similar to last time, only substituting TCW characters with AOTC ones (ex. Jango instead of Ventress, Padme instead of Ahsoka, Mace or some other Jedi instead of Plo Koon)

The new Yoda looks awesome. I just hope if they use rubber for the head again its the stronger type they've been using lately (Amidala's headpiece for example) and not the soft eraser kind on the last figure where the printing always scratches off. I'm sure we'll see her. Lego seems to be making more effort lately to have all the main heroes available each year.
