Nope they're just this years sets: http://photos.actionfigs.com/g6504-the-lord-of-the-rings.html

If we don't get this Phoenix in a set then we'll definitely get a Dark Phoenix variant or a regular Jean Grey. She's too big a character not to appear in any X-Men sets.
-
Thanks for the close ups. That Bizarro head would be perfect for zombie customs. I wonder what the chances are of Phoenix having a double sided face with her fiery eyes?
-
There's a description of Tauriel here: http://www.theonering.net/torwp/2012/04/27/55378-hobbit-footage-review-massive-spoilers-full-coverage-analysis/ Apparantly she will have brown hair and a similar costume to Legolas. Looks like she has a different costume to the LOTR trilogy.
-
That Jean Grey minifigure is so beautiful. Why did the green Phoenix costume have to be the exclusive? Thats arguably her most iconic look. Does anyone know if the exclusive figures from last year's Comic Con wound up being in any of the sets?
-
Maybe they will include EV-9D9's droid dungeon underneath the tower? Does anyone think Ree Yees will be included after being left out of the palace? And is it too much to hope for an updated Slave Leia?
-
I'd like to see the Ewok Village come with an updated Endor Luke, Tribal Leia and Trenchcoat Han. I wouldn't mind another AT-ST as a seperate release either. Endor Leia also needs an update using the new head and hair from the Hoth figure.
-
PHOENIX and VENOM are exclusive giveaways!? You got to be ****ing me! I guess I can live without Phoenix as long as we get both a regular Jean Grey and Dark Phoenix in the near future.
-
Female characters usually have the pinched hips printed on their torsos. Bombur could always have a similar effect done to make him look more rounded.
-
If we ever do get another Home One, I'll rather we get Leia in her Rebel General uniform over the Endor camo.

Ewok Village... with Ewok Leia minifigure

No offense but your idea of a Last Alliance set sounds pretty terrible. Ask yourself this - what are we BUILDING here? What is the SET supposed to represent? Just a "rock or something" sounds incredibly boring. All this set has going for it is 3 unique minifigures - Elrond, Sauron and Isildur. Wouldn't you be better off including them in Mount Doom or the Tower of Baradur and saving the cheaper sets for battlepacks?
-
Zam Wesell too.

The outside of the cape was green, the inside was red.

What DC/Marvel Hero/Villain Do You Most Want To See Made In LEGO?
wesker replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think a X-Men and Brotherhood lineup similar to this would be nice. Good thing we already got Wolverine and Magneto. A few other characters I'd like to see: - Apocalypse (jumbo size fig like the Hulk, with hoses like this that attach to studs on the arms and body) - Mr Sinister - Archangel - Cable - Lady Deathstrike - Silver Samurai -
I agree I want to see actual sets in this line. Some of the suggestions like "The Last Alliance" or "Arwen's Chase" sound like a waste to me. What are we BUILDING here? What is the SET supposed to be of? All I see is minifigure packs.
-
That would be pretty cool. Although I would like to complete the lineup of recurring villains first (Maul, Talzin etc) before moving onto the standalone arc characters.
-
Interesting pic. Anakin looks decent but not a whole lot different from the previous version. I'm a little disapointed Padme's appearance isn't consistant with last year's TPM version, but then this could just be artistic interpretation and not a sign of any upcoming figure.
-
Being realistic here - most of the people who are buying these sets are more familiar with the characters thanks to the various cartoon series, movies and even video games rather than the comics themselves. The reason I suggested Mystique and Emma first was because they along with Storm, Jean and Rogue have had more mainstream exposure than Kitty (although admittedly in Emma's case not that much more) Lego would be better off focusing on characters most people are aware of first rather than follow the order of rosters from the comics.
-
Love to see more X-Men sets, but personally I think Jean Grey, Mystique and even Emma Frost should come before Kitty.
-
Its the same head.
-
Great news about Iron Man 3 sets. I just hope X-Men isn't going to be neglected to one set again next year. I'm assuming we'll see a Japan-related Wolverine set to tie in with the new movie (though based on the comic rather than the film itself) but it would be nice to see some of the other team members.

Lego never uses the same designs as the video games for unmade characters. They're more likely to keep using the Legolas/Haldir hairpiece for the rest of the Elves regardless of gender.
