I second this. I'm hoping the Summer 2013 wave will at least give us Pepper Potts and Lois Lane in the movie tie-in sets.

Replace Barris Offee/Kit Fisto's starfighter with Obi-Wan's. Its in need of an update and works better as a tie in to AOTC's re-release in theatres.

Nice to finally see the Snowspeeder pilots get different uniforms to the X-Wing ones. And I'm very impressed with the ammount of detail put into both rebel pilots. Shame the addition of leg printing had to come one year too late - would have been nice if Gold Leader, Porkins and Luke came with it in this year's sets. Not exactly a new piece. The ROTS Obi-Wan minifigure used it in this year's Jedi Interceptor set. Although it is the first time the Clone Wars Obi-Wan has used it.

Meh. I'm really not impressed with the minifig line up for the planet sets. I'd much prefer getting actual characters instead while leaving the generic troops to the battle packs and advent calenders.

I think the distribution between OT, PT and TCW has been quite fair. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the occassional lack of variety within these subthemes. Take a look at TCW sets for 2013 - every single one of them is clone centric. Where's the variety? Why not a set based on the Zillo Beast arc? Or the Nightsisters? Or the Zygarians? More Mandalorians? Bounty Hunters? Mortis? Mon Calamari? There's so much material to work with, but instead its all just clones, clones and more clones.

Yeah. Any parts made of soft rubber have this issue. Parts made out of hard rubber seem to be fine (such as headpieces for Amidala, Maul, Eeth Koth etc)

It is a ROTJ Han in the scenes after he got captured by the Ewoks. ANH Han had blue pants instead of brown while in ESB he never wore his trademark vest. The only time he ever wore the Endor camo was when the rebels first landed through to the search for Leia. And unless you got a later release of The Battle of Endor set, most people don't own a definitive ROTJ Han minifigure yet, just the classic non pupil version. His previous torso design had absolutely no detail. Even at the time it came out it still seemed fairly plain compared to a lot of the other characters. I disagree with you on the new standard male hair piece. It would look perfect on Indiana Jones, but Han always had a more shaggier hairstyle. The classic male hairpiece works better in this case, or even TCW Anakin's.

We still don't know what the 2 store exclusives will be yet. This year we had the Y-Wing and Jedi Interceptor. The year before Mace Windu's Fighter and Battle of Geonosis. The year before that the Swamp Speeder and Luke's Landspeeder. So there's still hope for more movie sets.

AT-RT - The set itself looks very well designed, but far too oversized. The new Phase 2 clone looks good and sniper droideka isn't bad, but its a shame Yoda is still the CW version. Clone Battle Pack - Good to see the Phase 1 clones will still be made available. The droidekas are an improvement over previous versions, but still take a bit of time to get used to. Maybe its the angle but the proportions do seem a bit odd. Headhunter - Very nice ship. Shame there isn't a decent shot of Krell. Umbaran MHC - Amazing! Possibly my favourite of the wave. Updated Ahsoka looks quite nice along with the Phase 2 clone. Would have been better though if she had her shorter yellow lightsaber instead of 2 greens ones. I really hope to see more Umbaran vehicles in the future. BARC - Decent set but nothing spectacular. Phase 2 Rex looks nice. Really love the new Obi-Wan. Hopefully the ROTS version will start using this costume as the one from the Jedi Interceptor does look a little plain in comparison. A-Wing - Like this year's X-Wing, not a huge lot of difference over the previous version but still a great looking set. The new A-Wing pilot looks fantastic. While I'm a little disapointed we're not getting an Endor Han, an update of his regular costume is welcome as the previous torso design was far too dated. TOR Battle Pack - Nice figures, crappy set. Not very familiar with the game so at best I'll only pick up one of these during a sale. While a decent wave of sets, I have to say my biggest gripe is the lack of variety. Just about every set here is clone centric. Why only 2 OT sets? Where is TPM? Even looking at solely at the TCW series - something based on the Nightsisters, the Slavers arc, Mon Calamari or even another Mandalorian themed set would be better than just clones, clones and even more clones. Still we haven't seen the store exclusives yet so there's still hope. I will say I do like the new packaging. Very reminisant of Hasbro's action figure lines from the 90s and early 00s.

I assume Ivy's in there as a throwback to the original Arkham set along with Scarecrow.

Most licensed minifigures use legs instead of skirt pieces, including Gandalf, Princess Leia, Darth Sidious, Old Ben Kenobi, Marion Ravenwood, Willie Scott, Luminara Unduli, Barris Offee, Shaak Ti and CW Nute Gunray.

Same here. The new hair they designed for Thorin/Fili/Kili would look perfect but it doesn't look like the piece is compatable with the beard.

Nice figs but the line doesn't interest me. I like the shoulder piece on the Samurai guy. Gives me hope we may see Mother Talzin in the Clone Wars line one day,

I'd love to see the Theed Palace, especially if done along the lines of the last Hogwarts Castle.

I hope its Padme, specifically from the end of TPM. Its a good way to carry on the celebration theme of previous minifigures. And unlike Celebration Leia, you can't really fit this version of Amidala into any sets.

Yeah for sure. The style would even be perfect for Gandalf the Grey, though I don't think the piece will be compatable with the beard. Fili's could work well on Eomer.

Han never wore his Endor camo at the Ewok Village though, just the regular ROTJ outfit we got in the Battle of Endor set which is in need of an update to pupil eyes anyway. Throwing one version in the A-Wing and another in the Village takes care of both versions. Besides Han there's still 2 variations of Luke left (Updates for both Death Star II and Endor) and 3 for Leia (Ewok Village, Home One and updated Endor Camo)

Apart from the short braid at the bottom her hair really isn't any different from Legolas to justify a new mold. And its kind of impractical for a minifigure to have hair going below the torso anyway. The only two elves that could really use a new hairpiece are Galadriel and Thranduil. Everyone else (Tauriel, Celeborn, Arwen) can get away with the current mold. Speaking of hairpieces, I can see Thorin's being reused for characters like Eomer and Gandalf the Grey.

Really impressed with how the Mordor Troll and Fell Beast look. Both Saruman and the Witch-King look phenomenal! Hopefully the official minifigures look just as good as their video game counterparts. The Balrog however may take a bit of time getting used to. Compared to the molded creatures and Shelob, it looks a bit thrown together. Nah the legs look fine. Lego rarely uses skirt pieces for action oriented characters anyway. Just look at Gandalf, Princess Leia and Emperor Palpatine.

While I like the CW it would be nice to have a little variety in the sets. Right now its all a little too clone centric. Some Zygarians, Nightsisters or even more Mandalorians would have been good to break things up a bit.

Shame Ahsoka is the only female minifig this wave. Princess Leia where are you?

I know that. I just find it disapointing that of the female characters, its the made up Mary Sue character thats likely to be done first over someone more iconic like Eowyn and Galadriel.

Is he any different from TCW version? The only thing I think they can improve on the current figure is giving him a cape.

Seeing that beautiful artwork of an armored Eowyn than reading Tauriel will likely be our first female minifigure is so depressing.
