Needs more X-Men.

Disapointed? Not at all! Normally we don't even get a leaked set list until late August/early September.

Too bad Palpatine's Arrest and Pre Vizsla's Fighter aren't in the catalogue. Any word on when these might be hitting Australia?

They may be able to get away with it since it falls under a licensed theme. Its not like Lego had any problem releasing Princess Leia and the Endor troops in military camo, or the Russian/German army in the Indiana Jones line.

Nope. Only the Superhero theme previewed the minifigures. Star Wars and LOTR previewed a set each instead.

When we do get a new Yoda, I hope the head is soft plastic like the original and not rubber like the Clone Wars version.

How's this then? I think it has a nice balance between the main characters and the obscure ones. Some of the more prominant Jedi (Ki Adi Mundi, Luminara Unduli etc) can always come in other Geonosis themed sets like the AT-TE, Spider Droid, Hailfire Droid etc. Arena 1 - Includes Obi-Wan, Count Dooku, Poggle the Lesser, Nute Gunray, Coleman Trebor - Acklay - Dooku's grandstand with gate - Pillars Arena 2 - Includes Anakin, Mace, Jango and Padme - Reek - Nexu - Modular grandstand - Prison wagon Army Builder - Includes clones, battle droids and Geonosians - Modular grandstand - Geonosian canon Republic Gunship - Includes clones, battle droids, Butlar Swan, Pablo-Jill and Yoda I'd love to see more podracers. Alder Beedo, Gasgano and Mawhonic's racers look too dated compared to the ones from last year. Teemto's would be pretty sweet too. And it would be a good opportunity for a Shmi Skywalker or non-CW Aurra Sing. I'm with you on the Sailbarge, although recently Lego seems to be making more of an effort to include the whole cast of main characters in sets each year. If Luke comes in the Rancor Pit and Obi-Wan/Anakin/Padme in AOTC sets, what will be the Princess Leia set of 2013? Could Cloud City be on the cards? Will an AT-ST or Ewok Village carry on the Endor themed sets? It makes you wonder whats in store for us.

Don't forget there's also that upcoming Scholastic Lego book with a new Anakin, Padme and Jango on the cover.

Eowyn and Galadriel are the only must haves for me. I couldn't care less about the other two.

The hinged gate is meant to go below the hinged back section of Jabba's throne room. When both closed they go over each other like this:

The rancor looks even better seeing it at all the different angles. I like Luke's alternate expression too. I'll be happy enough if this head becomes his standard one from now one. The one thing I am disapointed in is there's no connecting points on either side of the set for a potential droid dungeon. Either we don't get one and the tower remains floating in the air, or we do at the expense of an unstable lower level.

I think a Geonosis Arena could work if split into multiple sets that could connect to each other. Something along the lines of the Uruk Hai army set. A new Slave Leia would be amazing, especially with how detailed minifigures have gotten in recent years.

I really like to see more Padme figures. Both versions of the Geonosis jumpsuit as well as TPM battle gear are essential. Some more of the queen costumes would be nice as well. I also like to complete the remaining versions of Princess Leia. We still need: - Bespin Jumpsuit - Medical Frigate - Home One - Ewok Village - Updated versions of Bespin Gown, Slave Bikini and Endor Camo Chewie just needs printed eyes. The mold itself still holds up well. I'd love to see a new Jango and Dexter. As for the Clone Wars characters, lets get the rest of the important ones out the way first (Satine, Maul, Talzin etc) before moving onto the one off characters.

Too bad they showed none of the X-Men.

Don't forget Alfred from the first Batcave set.

Disapointed by the lack of X-Men and Nightwing, but everything else looks good so far. Gordon, Freeze, Scarecrow, Doom, Venom and TDKR Bane are the standouts.

It looks like the Techo Union rocket ship from the end of AOTC. I can see that one being released as some store exclusive with a couple non-CW Jedi, but I think the Naboo ship will remain shelved.

I can't believe no one else has noticed Luke has a new face. The eyebrows are now raised higher and in black instead of brown, plus he has a bum chin.

The rancor looks awesome and the set itself is better than I expected. Looks like Luke has a new face as well. Just a shame there isn't anything to go beneath the tower.

I have no doubt we'll see the characters in sets down the line. What bothers me is the version of that character they chose as the exclusive. Using Jean Grey as an example - we can see her released in her regular X-Men uniform, as Marvel Girl or as Dark Phoenix. But we're never going to get her in her green Phoenix costume which is arguably her most iconic look. In a way I feel cheated. If Lego wanted to release an exclusive Jean Grey a better choice would have been the less iconic White Phoenix version.

I agree its ridiculous. Even more so when the exclusive figure is based on the characters most iconic look.
