  1. You don't wrote about the siren's tail, in your list.
  2. Perfect, thanks! As I see you made some effort to provide good screenshots, I can suggest you to take a look at this guide (and if you want, leave there any feedback/suggestion to improve it).
  3. LDD allows to generate an HTML part list too. The list is the last page of the HTML instructions. Which one is the best solution depends on what you have to do with the part list.
  4. @Canticleer blues Welcome in this topic and thanks for your contribution. There is an irregularity: in this topic the maximum size for the images is smaller then the one indicated in the Site Guidelines, the preview image of a set have to stay inside a square of 512x512 px (or less for medium or small sets). You can find all the rules in the first page of this topic. EDIT: Another thing I noticed. In the Metro PD Station the two motorbikes are missing. When a piece is not present in LDD it is necessary to replace it with a similar alternative or a brick build solution in order to avoid the "incomplete" tag for the entry.
  5. The video is very old, about two years ago. Is you problem more recent? Please answer to all the questions I wrote above. Write here, in short, you system (hardware and OS) config too, please.
  6. - What did you try, exactly, to fix the problem? - Are you sure the problems are related to the last LDD update? Could you remember some other change in your computer in that period? - Did you make a clean uninstall of LDD (being sure the profile folder was removed)? - About the link to the youtube video, you could simply write the video code (the series of numbers and letters that identifies the video in the URL).
  7. There is the "LDraw info topic" from legolijntje already. There you can find main informations about LDraw ecosystem in the first page and speak about LDraw in general. Or perhaps you thought something different? Can you explain?
  8. I think you should wait the first contest is exhausted before opening a new one (but we need to modify the title of this topic), or you could open a separated topic with the new contest.
  9. Discussion about bbqqq rendering and relative contest moved in a separate topic.
  10. As the last posts are taking the form of a contest, I moved these posts in a new topic. Good game! @bbqqq Modify the title of the topic and add a description, if you want.
  11. After a fast look, I can add #5 Siren's tail.
  12. Yes, yes, you can. I suggested you to look at the indexed topics because there you could find the answer to your question. PS: is some volunteer want to crate a new "guide" topic, he/she is welcome. We need a user (with experience in creating instructions) that wrote e guide and include and order informations from old topics too.
  13. Check the Section Index. There you can find the links to various topics where tips and trick related to create building instructions are discussed.
  14. Great news, I added this new utility to the section index. About the next feature to implement, I voted "flexible parts" because it is something that LDD supports and this software should support too in order to convert LDD models without loss of informations. My second choice is "custom decorations", because that will allow to overcome one of the greatest LDD limitations. Unfortunately this software is for windows users only (and LDD users are not only widows users) and requires NET framework.
  15. You can obtain a full inventory of used parts crating HTML instructions.
  16. I remember a discussion about another problem: 3) lxf files with extra pieces are more difficult to share: how to avoid a child open a lxf file and find a very incomplete model because the extra pieces are not installed in his PC? There are various theories about that and various solution, but no one seems to be harmless. I usually prefer Technic Axle (such as 3707) and Technic Bush (such as 4265a).
  17. Oh, pardon... I didn't noticed your post count! Let's wait you have enough posts then! You can ask about this and other LDD features in this topic. PS: we usually obtain a fine tuning of brick placement using a scaffolding.
  18. To say the true, both minifigs and bricks have to be replaced with similar parts or brick build alternatives, but minifigs are easier to notice! And Jabba is a big figure! PS: a green snake is not a good option!
  19. Interesting piece. Did you thought a similar one but rotated 45°?
  20. If I'm not wrong, in the index topic there are some threads dealing with this argument. Did you take a look at those?
  21. @Kyrros About magnet, I'm pretty sure there is a suitable holder. Probably magnets has been added for a specific use in universe mode. Agree with you about the need to add the holders you described above, very useful for many old sets. For the baseplate 2552 someone used a brick build solution, that many builders used for their models listed in the Official LEGO Sets made in LDD topic. Agree with you about missing piaces for space models, look at here and here for example. A little notice: insert clickable links to provide a description of the parts you desire (I've an addon that opens plain text links, but probably the great part of other users need to manually copy-paste the address on the address bar). Maybe insert a small thumbnail so that every user can see the part without the need to open an external link. I suggest you to use bricklink database instead than peeron one, because peeron's database is slower and probably they don't enjoy the use of their images as hotlink. Look for example at this post, for reference.
  22. Ok, remember to inform the users here when you will update the post. I imagine the lack of bricklink's inventory is the reason why you don't listed inaccuracies for these sets. PS: in the Jabba's Palace it seems there is not... Jabba! The presence of all minifigures is necessary to consider a set complete. What do you think to try a brick build solutions?
  23. Interesting. Can someone test it with SRWare Iron?
  24. Thanks, and what is on MAC the default path where LDD places its screenshots?
  25. @Brickdoctor Fine, added to the guide. Take a look at it. Another little question. CTRL+K is the key shortcut for LDD Screenshot in windows. Is it Command+K in the MAC version? @Aanchir Good hint. About see-through problem of transparent parts, I'll add Zinfinion's trick (that is the same you suggest) to the guide. I can't see your example because the gallery is not publick and you don't hotlink images.
