  1. @MicroJow I'm speaking about the 60 minifigures box too. I've head about the 120 minifigures box here in this topic for the first time. Where are they available?
  2. I didn't mean that the palette was related to your collection. I thought you have created a palette containing ALL the bricks in real colour (a sort of filtered palette, to avoid a builder uses a brick that don't exists in real). Put more than one brick for each ElementID risks to make the file size very heavy.
  3. @bbqqq Great work, maybe the problem is related to decorations. I notice some difficulties to manage decorations when you create a palette with LDD manager. Besides there is the issue of almost identical parts available only in the colours of the specific DesignID. A question: in the screenshot it seems you put there more than one part for the same brick in the same colour. Is it correct or the parts are in different but similar colours?
  4. @Basteq Maybe you didn't notice that someone has already opened it. Anyway in two boxes there are 12 Roman officers, you could have missed one. Look for example at this post. Dervish bought 3 boxes and all the boxes have the same content.
  5. If I remember correctly, this missing connection was already revealed some times ago, when another user asked here how to place a bicycle on his MOC. There we noticed that the technique to replace one of the tile whereof the road was composed didn't work because the bicycle didn't connected to the plate.
  6. Could you report the path of the folder, so that I can update the guide?
  7. I only want to remember you guys that LDD is in a sort of maintenance mode after the closure of DBM e LEGO Universe. The LDD Team will provide us new bricks, will try to fix bugs and maybe will add some "lightwave" feature, but not heavy changes such as a physics engine.
  8. At start, you have to verify what is the LEGO digital CAD software more suitable for your project. Check the Section Index about available software. If you choose LDD, read the posts and topics linked in the Section Index about creating instructions. If you choose LDraw ecosystem, maybe the right software to use is lpub. Unfortunately there could be problems that are not easy to solve: - Creating good instructions is not easy, and requires some manual work or the use of "advanced" procedure. - You could have problems with missing pieces or connections difficult to make in the digital word. I've modified the title of the topic, replacing it with a more significative one. Please be more careful using proper punctuation and capitalization.
  9. 2681 - Support 6x6x10 Stanchion The solution is not fully connected. 2426 - Black Technic Rack Winder Complete Assembly (202 Technic Rack Winder + 200 Technic Rack Winder Axle) I provided two different versions, depending on the use. Both the solution are not fully connected. 2428 - Technic Rack 1x20x2/3 The solution is unconnected. 2448 - Panel 3x2x5,2/3 The solution is unconnected. 30101 - Door Frame 2 x 8 x 6 Swivel with Bottom Notches The solution is not fully connected. Download HERE the lxf file containing all those templates (available both as templates and as groups).
  10. If I remember correctly all the series from 5th to 9th. I was disappointed for the 9th series because there was not 3 complete series anymore, and it seems this happens with 10th series too. Interesting... any other information/link about this box?
  11. Thanks! Sad news... not a good distribution this time, anyway! Only two complete series for a box again is a shame. All the box of the last series I bought has exactly the distribution of the other boxes.
  12. Does anyone knows about the content of a box? How many minifigures of each type?
  13. Could anyone provide weight for series 10? What about box content too?
  14. You could try a brick build solution. For example here there are custom solution for Jabba and a tauntaun.
  15. What a strange thing. Maybe they placed all inside the program folder? Can't finder be forced to search inside hidden or protected folders? Maybe starting it as root user? Maybe Superkalle could contact the LDD team to ask them where the folder has been placed.
  16. Did you try a search for "UserPalettes"? If your palettes are still available, then the "UserPalette" folder should be somewhere. Once found the folder, we could update the guide.
  17. The idea of realistic rendering fascinating me from long time, but I've not understood the point of this discussion. Are we speaking about the chance to realize good looking works, or about the peril that a digital work can be confused with a real one? PS: about the two images attached by superkalle, I prefer the untouched one. The cleaned one results more "false" and not better looking. I don't think so, for a simple reason: every "illogical connection" in digital designer goes towards an "unrealistic" use of LEGO, while "illegal connections" with real bricks are prefectly real and usable in real life. Besides, many people, like me, think that the charm of LEGO is a free use of imagination, and that include the search and find of new connections. Only physical limits and fantasy should be the rules. Note that on the altar of the legal connection even old official sets has been sacrificed. With LDD I can't even reproduce old set I love because some not yet valid technique has been used. I think that LDD will be not complete until it will not allow "illegal" connections. For lovers of legal connections, LDD could report (with a warning) and count (for inventory) illegal connection, so that builders not only can decide if use that connections or not, but became aware of what an illegal connection is and why exists. "Education" without coercion. About contests, I think a reason (obviously not the only one) to differentiate real and digital MOCs is the "collection value" of some bricks. Some bricks can enrich a MOC but can be not easy to have. With the digital creation, all pieces have the same value.
  18. Building the set 6987 - Message Intercept Base I found what is probably a bug: The Hose 73590c01b don't connect properly to the underlying 6x2 plate among studs. Was it known?
  19. 1694 - Galactic Scout Theme: Space > Blacktron 2 [Brickset] [Peeron] [BrickLink] Download (LDD 4.3.6): - Direct link HERE. - More on my BrickShelf Gallery HERE. - Visual Gallery HERE. - Get the ZipPacks from HERE. Known Inaccuracies: - I used minifig head with hollow stud (3626b) instead than old type (3626a) - Many decorations missing, replaced if possible. Comments: A small but interesting space set. 6987 - Message Intercept Base Theme: Space > Blacktron [Brickset] [Peeron] [BrickLink] Download (LDD 4.3.6): - Direct link HERE. - More on my BrickShelf Gallery HERE. - Visual Gallery HERE. - Get the ZipPacks from HERE. Known Inaccuracies: - Support 6x6x10 Stanchion (2681) replaced with an approsimative brick build solution - Technic Rack Winder (202) replaced with a brick build solution (note: in one case, gear removed in order to be able to assemble the station) - Technic Rack Winder Axle (200) replaced with a brick build solution - Technic Rack 1x20x2/3 (2428) replaced with a brick build solution - Panel 3x2x5,2/3 (2448) replaced with a brick build solution - Baseplate 32x32 with Craters (3947a) missing: I used the same very stylized alternative I create for the set 6930. - Bar 1x6 with Studs Open (4873) replaced with Bar 1 x 6 with Studs Close (6140) - Wedge Plate 3x4 without Stud Notches (4859) replaced with Wedge Plate 3x4 with Stud Notches (48183) - I used minifig head with hollow stud (3626b) instead than old type (3626a) - Many decorations missing, replaced if possible. - The Hose 73590c01b don't connect properly to the underlying 6x2 plate among studs. Comments: One of my favourite Space stations, maybe because it is imposing. I don't love Blacktron's colours, but I appreciate the use of the Transparent Yellow instead then the Transparent Neon Green. This set was not so simple to realize, there was various part I had to replace with brick build solutions. All these solutions are grouped inside the lxf file. In a pair of situation I had to fine tuning to assemble different parts of the space station, and modify the brick build solution to achieve that.
  20. @Sjuip The file is simply the lxf containing all the minifigures shared in this topic.
  21. The image is very explicative. The problem is that there is not a connection among those two bricks (the technic hole is too big for the lance), so you have to use a scaffolding as Alasdair Ryan did. Another maybe faster scaffolding is to use a Technic Pin 1/2 as a support to perfectly center the lance. If I remember correctly I used this technique for the drawbridge of the my 6085 Black Monarch's Castle.
  22. I replaced the title with a more significative one. Could you describe a specific connection you are trying? In which part are you trying to insert the lance? A screenshot (CTRL+k) that shows the connection could be useful (but be careful to don't insert an oversized image).
  23. @bbqqq I've difficulties to load the images you are posting these days. They load very slow and often don't end to load. Do you notice the same problem?
  24. Yes, but the question remains: do you think to upload and than share the CAD file? For digital MOCs we encourage builders to share the CAD files, so that it is available to anyone.
