  1. Hi All, I haven't posted here for a while, but having just shown my latest endeavour at the Great Western Brick Show, I thought anyone who doesn't usually frequent Flickr might like to see the MOC. IMGP9984 by kaitain, on Flickr IMGP9966 by kaitain, on Flickr (Just some Christmas lights added to give a fantasy feel to the display). "Heroes of Heroica" is a 240x112 stud campaign map, featuring 16 different routes into the forest from the 8 beach landing points, 57 dungeon entrances (these lead to random Heroica dungeons) in the forested area alone, 3 multi floored "Dark Druid" towers, 9 villages where treasure can be sold and equipment/potions bought. A goblin fortress to sneak into, lots of different heroica monsters to fight, including new snakes, scorpions, and even Dragons. The entire build process is available on my Flickr photostream, and when I've sorted through the photos from the show, I'll upload those as well. The aim is for the game to be played co-operatively like any other RPG. The extra campaign rules are still a work in progress though. Regards Kaitain Edit: It should have been 16 routes off the beach, not 6

    Hi from Simone, Italy!

Hi everyone! I'm Simone from Italy, glad to have found such a nice community. I love Lego since I was a kid and now I'm 34 with two kids of my own and still like it. I'm a board game designer and I like to discover possible connection between Lego and bg and rpg. I'm open to collaboration! So if you have an idea, please contact me :)
  3. As I was sorting and replanning my brick stash (again) I got the idea to create a small Ludo game. The thought occured when I talked to friends about the fun of playing this childhood favourite again, but non of us had the game itself anymore. First I went online to check out TLGs official version and then what other people might have come up with. I knew I didn't want to built it to include minifigs. I thought I'd rather use the Brick, Round 1 x 1 for the pieces, but instead ended up using the Cone 1 x 1. I did of course consider TLGs own cute microfigs, but chosing the right ones kept dragging and their size seemed a little too dominant compared to the size of the game/the scale of the board. It would of course have greater appeal if it were to be an official LEGO game via LEGO Ideas. This version includes the addition of stars and globes, which are very common in the Danish version of the game.
  4. I’ve checked every site I could think of that has anything Lego and in every country Bionicle came out, but have not found the alternate ending tile for the quest for Makuta board game. I’m pretty sure it’s a typo, but biosector says it was distributed in a copy of Lego magazine. Does anyone know what issue, or does anyone have a copy of the piece? I’ve been looking for a while and would love to play the alternate ending! https://biosector01.com/wiki/BIONICLE:_Quest_for_Makuta Photo of alternate ending piece here: http://bionicle-sell...nate_Ending.jpg Please message me if you know anything about the piece! 5. Classic board game reimagined in Lego Ninjago theme. Can be played by two to four players using the same rules of play as the original board game. Even better, it's also customizable to change the layout of the snakes and ladders from game to game if so desired! Come on, let's play! ... AC
