GBW- CP5 - EROTEMA – Behind Enemy Lines 4/8 Blindspot The action hereby depicted takes place at the same time than episode 3/8 (Captain Gennaro). Grid E8 After the last events, the situation with Xenor has gone worse and worse… The Filace Ambassador declared that he would not allow the RON to use Xenor territory or airspace to carry out attacks on the COAC. This implied the dispatching of a pair of jets to gather information on RON forces in Xenor, but they were shot down by Xenor Harriers on grid E8 (Studica). The pilots had to be rescued, and air cover for the operation was necessary, so a retaliation air operation was launched. This operation will involve a Filace (The Beeze) SpecOps unit to destroy an enemy airbase, an Erotema attack plane as well as a Filace sniper team (Captain Genaro) to destroy a Xenor SAM site; the sniper team will be extracted by New Brickika forces (Spud The Viking). Grid E4 Studica The Briolui Army has an airbase close to the border with Erotema in a very strategic position for the ongoing war. For so, it must be taken. [GBW] - Troop Movement - EROTEMA - Picnic and SAM launch test

GRID E4, a forest close to the border with Briolui. In order to test a new medium range AAA tank, a launch test has been scheduled. First, a two-man team has to choose a good launch site. 1 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr But, as they have plenty of time, why not light a fire to cook something? 2 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr They are in the middle of cooking a potato omelette -"tortilla de patata"- when the AAA tank arrives. 3 bis by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr As you see, it shares the same hull as the already known SPH. This is an 8-missile SAM, using a large dish radar to detect incoming aircraft, launch an active homing missile and switch it off. This prevents the use of HARM weapons against it (Highspeed Anti Radiation Missiles), used to take down radar-guided SAM sites. 3 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr They are relaxed as they enjoy the picnic. Here's my newest creation, depicting the scene from ROTK where Frodo and Sam, disguised as orcs, are approached by a group of orcs and their linebreaker... "After Samwise Gamgee rescues Frodo from Cirith Ungol, they travel further into the land of Mordor, disguised as orcs. As they keep walking on and on, weary and tiresome, they find that up ahead a group of orcs is passing through, slowly moving towards them. As they keep calm and quiet, hoping not to be seen, they are approached by an orc linebreaker who sees them as little orcs and pulls them into the group to march among them..." ___________________________________________________________ You can find it on both Flickr and MOCpages, as well. After reaching Round 4 of mocpages MELO (may you remember my "last march of treebeard") my new category was "Mount Doom". You probably saw the fantastic entry of my opponent matthew oh. The judges already made their decision and gave me the privilege of marching in round 5, the semi finals. It was a very tough round against matthew and I want to pay tribute to his great entries.
